O TYM ODCINKU

Paul Rust is one of those actors you know. You have seen him. You have felt his work. Maybe in ‘Inglourious Basterds’, maybe in ‘Love’ on Netflix, maybe somewhere else where he quietly stole the scene. And then you realize he is not just funny. He is thoughtful. He is a little uncomfortable in the best way. The kind of storyteller who makes you laugh and then makes you sit with something real.
In this episode of Up+Adam, we get into it. Paul joins us to talk about his new film The Napa Boys, a wild, self-aware comedy that plays like the fourth installment of a franchise that does not even exist. But underneath the absurdity, there is something deeper. We talk about how comedy can be a disguise for the things that scare us, what he learned working with Judd Apatow about vulnerability, and why relationships on screen feel more honest when they are a little messy. We also get into wine culture, performance, and that feeling that maybe all of us are acting just a little bit whether we are dating, creating, or sitting at a tasting bar trying to sound like we know what we are talking about.
This is one of those conversations that starts fun and ends somewhere real. Exactly where we like it.
