Deacon Tha Villain and Natti (Cunninglynguist) and Sheisty Khrist (NWL) talk through the origin of their incredible project and what it's like growing up in the KY music scene. We also delve into unforgettable stories about Kanye West being unrecognized in the middle of the streets of Norway, Cee-Lo down on his luck, and Macklemore when he retired...before the superstardom of "Thrift Shop" fame. We discuss it all!

Psychedelic and boogie-influenced love raps are the order of the day on this good time collaboration between Natti and Deacon The Villain from Kentucky’s CunninLynguists crew and Sheisty Khrist. Over the bouncing bass and ‘80s synths of “Couple’s Skate,” the duo name-check fellow funked-up hip-hop crew Digital Underground before announcing, “It’s like you and me flowing through the ether / The sounds of the quiet storm going through the speaker.” Closing cut “Who Are You?” moves in a poppier direction with a rousing chorus sung over upbeat, guitar-and-scratch production. ~ Bandcamp Daily (Best Hip Hop on Bandcamp Aug'18)
