O TYM ODCINKU
Ohio State football opened the season with a 56-3 win over Ball State, and now the real test arrives: the Buckeyes are headed to Austin for a massive showdown with the Texas Longhorns. On this episode of The Script, Cardale Jones, Beanie Wells and Dave Holmes break down Ohio State’s dominant opener, starting with Julian Sayin’s poise, accuracy and command of the passing game. Jeremiah Smith looked every bit like the best wide receiver in college football, while freshman playmaker Legend Bey showed why Buckeye fans are already so excited about his future. Should Texas be favored at home? How electric—and chaotic—will Austin be for a night game featuring two college football powers? And what is Ohio State’s best plan for slowing down Arch Manning, Cam Coleman and the Texas offense? Plus, we make fun of Michigan once again after its latest escape act—and discuss why Bryce Underwood’s underwhelming play has Wolverines fans worried.
