O TYM ODCINKU
As a parent, witnessing our children go through bullying can be heart-wrenching. This week, we had the privilege to chat with our lovely daughters, Khloe and Kyla Kohlmeier, about their experiences with bullying at school and the impact it has had on their lives. They expressed frustration with school administrators who, despite being informed about the incidents, seemed to take little action in addressing the issue. Handling conflict is an essential life skill, and Khloe and Kyla shared their insights on effective protective measures when dealing with bullies. From walking away and speaking up, to seeking support from teachers, these young ladies have learned how to navigate the complexities of conflict. Kyla even used sarcasm as a defense mechanism, and has some valuable advice for other students who find themselves in similar situations. Being an older sibling comes with certain responsibilities and challenges, including managing schoolwork, dealing with parental expectations, and teaching younger siblings to be strong individuals. Khloe and Kyla discussed the importance of communication and having a safe space to retreat to when needed. Their experiences and wisdom can certainly be a valuable resource for other students and families going through similar struggles. Join us in this heartfelt and insightful episode as we delve into the world of school bullying and self-defense with our wonderful guests, Khloe and Kyla Kohlmeier.
