Austin Cold Cases

WEBVTT
1
00:00:00.160 --> 00:00:03.279
This is the JB and Sandy Show on Austin's eighty
2
00:00:03.399 --> 00:00:05.040
station one oh three point one.
3
00:00:06.679 --> 00:00:07.240
A couple of.
4
00:00:07.200 --> 00:00:09.359
Things that are kind of the interesting one, would you
5
00:00:09.359 --> 00:00:12.199
guys kind of classified the Savannah Got Three things?
6
00:00:12.240 --> 00:00:12.439
Now?
7
00:00:12.519 --> 00:00:14.359
The case with her mother is kind of a cold
8
00:00:14.400 --> 00:00:19.039
case right now, like really not? Is it too soon
9
00:00:19.079 --> 00:00:21.359
to be considered a cold case. The other thing about that,
10
00:00:22.280 --> 00:00:24.359
I am just shocked that she's By the way, we're
11
00:00:24.359 --> 00:00:27.199
gonna get to some Austin cold cases in just a moment.
12
00:00:28.199 --> 00:00:30.199
I'm shocked that Savannah Got three is going back to
13
00:00:30.239 --> 00:00:33.920
the Today Show. I'm just really surprised that she's. Jenna
14
00:00:33.960 --> 00:00:37.119
Hager announced it the other day and she's going to
15
00:00:37.159 --> 00:00:40.159
be back on. They haven't said when, but just like,
16
00:00:40.679 --> 00:00:43.200
I don't know if I could do that.
17
00:00:43.200 --> 00:00:47.240
That's a strange one. It's not like she has to
18
00:00:47.320 --> 00:00:51.159
work right right financially, Like I understand what people got
19
00:00:51.200 --> 00:00:51.920
to go back to work.
20
00:00:52.439 --> 00:00:56.719
I've got to work. But she doesn't good think. But
21
00:00:56.840 --> 00:00:58.799
she's plus you just look at her when she's on
22
00:00:58.840 --> 00:01:00.600
the Today Show. She's always going to be the woman
23
00:01:00.640 --> 00:01:01.799
whose mother was abducted.
24
00:01:03.880 --> 00:01:05.920
She's just trying to get She showed up to the
25
00:01:06.280 --> 00:01:09.640
Today's show set on Friday, and told people her intention
26
00:01:09.760 --> 00:01:11.319
is to come back. She doesn't know when, and she
27
00:01:11.359 --> 00:01:13.640
said I don't know how I can do it, but
28
00:01:13.840 --> 00:01:16.359
that they are like her family, and she's looking for
29
00:01:16.879 --> 00:01:17.719
does she have children?
30
00:01:18.000 --> 00:01:18.519
She's two?
31
00:01:18.879 --> 00:01:20.200
How old are you any idea how old they are?
32
00:01:20.280 --> 00:01:20.799
They're young?
33
00:01:21.040 --> 00:01:22.439
They are, yeah, okay.
34
00:01:22.959 --> 00:01:26.040
But speaking of cold cases and stuff, there are some
35
00:01:26.159 --> 00:01:28.519
Austin cold cases that have been brought up recently.
36
00:01:28.560 --> 00:01:30.680
What's on that list? There is about five of them, right.
37
00:01:30.519 --> 00:01:31.560
Here's about five of them.
38
00:01:31.599 --> 00:01:34.640
One of them is going back as far as like
39
00:01:34.760 --> 00:01:36.519
Jack the Ripper days near the end of the eighteen
40
00:01:36.599 --> 00:01:38.640
hundred is the Servant Girl Annihilator.
41
00:01:39.000 --> 00:01:41.920
Oh yeah, you remember that one Clarksville.
42
00:01:42.560 --> 00:01:48.040
Yeah, unidentified killer murdered at least eight people between eighteen
43
00:01:48.079 --> 00:01:50.239
eighty four and eighteen eighty five. They never caught them,
44
00:01:50.359 --> 00:01:53.079
got away with it, Servant Annihilator.
45
00:01:53.319 --> 00:01:57.680
This is why we have moon towers. Oh really, yeah,
46
00:01:57.680 --> 00:01:59.879
I mean the original there. I think there might still
47
00:01:59.920 --> 00:02:03.400
be one or two original wood moon towers. But you
48
00:02:03.400 --> 00:02:06.640
always hear about moon towers is synonymous with Austin. That
49
00:02:06.840 --> 00:02:09.919
is why they put up these moon towers to light
50
00:02:10.000 --> 00:02:13.879
it up at night, because of the serial killer.
51
00:02:14.639 --> 00:02:18.960
And so the servant girl annihilator. These were what housekeepers
52
00:02:19.039 --> 00:02:19.800
and stuff.
53
00:02:19.599 --> 00:02:23.560
Or I think so, and mostly in the Clarksville area
54
00:02:23.680 --> 00:02:24.680
just west of downtown.
55
00:02:25.000 --> 00:02:26.479
Well, by the way, speaking of that, did you see
56
00:02:26.479 --> 00:02:27.400
Buford's opened up?
57
00:02:28.039 --> 00:02:31.800
Yes, they said they set their reopening date and the
58
00:02:31.840 --> 00:02:33.360
proceeds are going I believe to.
59
00:02:34.960 --> 00:02:36.960
Victims. I read they opened up Friday night.
60
00:02:37.319 --> 00:02:41.439
Maybe that's what it was. And it was again pro benefit. Yeah,
61
00:02:41.479 --> 00:02:44.680
I benefit other cold cases in Austin. I know we'll
62
00:02:44.719 --> 00:02:46.960
all remember this name. Rachel Cook.
63
00:02:47.400 --> 00:02:49.240
Dude, that blows my mind.
64
00:02:49.400 --> 00:02:52.280
January morning in two thousand and two, nineteen year old
65
00:02:52.360 --> 00:02:54.560
Rachel Cook left her Georgetown home to go for a
66
00:02:54.639 --> 00:02:55.840
jog and never returned.
67
00:02:56.479 --> 00:03:03.759
Zero trace after that. That is unbelieve that someone just disappear. Yeah,
68
00:03:04.000 --> 00:03:06.199
just gone, just went out for a run. She was
69
00:03:06.240 --> 00:03:07.039
home from college.
70
00:03:07.240 --> 00:03:09.479
Yeah, I remember hearing about it when it happened.
71
00:03:09.520 --> 00:03:12.199
Oh, I too, an absolutely huge story.
72
00:03:12.360 --> 00:03:14.199
Yeah, never ever been solved.
73
00:03:14.680 --> 00:03:17.240
What else the next one they're talking about Henry Lee
74
00:03:17.319 --> 00:03:18.520
Lucas serial killer.
75
00:03:18.520 --> 00:03:20.360
Henry Lee Lucas confessed.
76
00:03:19.919 --> 00:03:24.199
To hundreds of murders, including one in Williamson County and
77
00:03:24.240 --> 00:03:25.560
another in bass Drop County.
78
00:03:25.560 --> 00:03:26.879
Back in nineteen seventy nine.
79
00:03:26.879 --> 00:03:30.000
But the interesting thing about this is that he didn't
80
00:03:30.039 --> 00:03:33.560
actually commit most of the murders that he claimed to
81
00:03:33.599 --> 00:03:34.080
have done.
82
00:03:35.159 --> 00:03:38.120
He was convicted of too, but confessed to hundreds.
83
00:03:38.159 --> 00:03:41.800
And they're saying that has uh really screwed it up
84
00:03:41.879 --> 00:03:44.560
and called all sorts of cold cases back into review.
85
00:03:45.719 --> 00:03:48.199
I remember when he was in that jail in Georgetown,
86
00:03:48.639 --> 00:03:51.159
and I remember, like, you know, you'd drive by and go,
87
00:03:51.280 --> 00:03:52.960
I wonder if he's like looking out the window and
88
00:03:52.960 --> 00:03:56.599
would wave right, So, by the way, I think, I
89
00:03:56.639 --> 00:03:59.280
think I read something that jail is going on the
90
00:03:59.319 --> 00:04:02.439
market and someone might turn it into a hotel or
91
00:04:02.479 --> 00:04:05.639
something like that. That's kind of creepy, right, yeah, yeah,
92
00:04:05.560 --> 00:04:08.360
where I don't know where it is in George, just
93
00:04:08.360 --> 00:04:09.759
just north of the square.
94
00:04:10.639 --> 00:04:13.280
Huh, trying to picture it. I don't.
95
00:04:13.319 --> 00:04:16.519
I can't picture it my brain where it was. Henry
96
00:04:16.600 --> 00:04:18.879
Lee Lucas died in two thousand and one.
97
00:04:19.879 --> 00:04:20.000
Right.
98
00:04:20.360 --> 00:04:23.680
What they also say about that about him is that
99
00:04:23.759 --> 00:04:26.160
it's the first time that authorities really heard of someone
100
00:04:26.319 --> 00:04:29.639
inserting themselves into cases that they had absolutely nothing to
101
00:04:29.680 --> 00:04:29.959
do with.
102
00:04:30.759 --> 00:04:33.240
Oh really, yeah, was he just trying to get.
103
00:04:33.199 --> 00:04:35.240
Cred I mean, I guess he's crazy.
104
00:04:35.600 --> 00:04:37.560
Yeah, yeah, definitely crazy.
105
00:04:37.560 --> 00:04:40.079
I worked with a few buzza's like that, just inserting
106
00:04:40.120 --> 00:04:41.160
themselves into everything.
107
00:04:41.439 --> 00:04:42.240
Like shut up.
108
00:04:45.279 --> 00:04:47.079
Do you ever know anyone like that, whether you worked
109
00:04:47.120 --> 00:04:49.480
with him or not, They just insert themselves in there.
110
00:04:49.519 --> 00:04:52.839
Whatever drama was going on, they got themselves into it.
111
00:04:52.920 --> 00:04:55.680
Are somehow the really creepy ones are the ones that
112
00:04:55.720 --> 00:04:58.480
can make it about themselves where they've got nothing to
113
00:04:58.560 --> 00:04:59.000
do with it.
114
00:04:59.360 --> 00:05:03.279
Yeah, nothing to do with it. What about this one?
115
00:05:03.319 --> 00:05:06.600
Do you remember the name Martin Gutierrez? In twenty eighteen,
116
00:05:06.920 --> 00:05:10.040
it was a Texas Tech grad disappeared after a night
117
00:05:10.079 --> 00:05:13.360
out on Rainy Street. His body was found in Ladybird Lake.
118
00:05:13.720 --> 00:05:18.120
The Medical Examiner examiner ruled it an accidental drowning, but
119
00:05:18.399 --> 00:05:21.959
it's questionable because he had blent force trauma to his
120
00:05:22.079 --> 00:05:23.240
head to his body.
121
00:05:23.360 --> 00:05:26.560
So pep, And we've had how many people found in
122
00:05:26.600 --> 00:05:30.680
the lake since rains? That was? Yeah, like how I
123
00:05:30.800 --> 00:05:35.279
flost count a dozen plus? Oh yeah, it's some astronomical number.
124
00:05:35.720 --> 00:05:38.720
They're always like, no foul play, just yeah, totally the
125
00:05:38.800 --> 00:05:40.079
same spot, the same.
126
00:05:39.879 --> 00:05:42.120
Area, the same type of person.
127
00:05:42.439 --> 00:05:45.360
Yeah, same around the same time and then late in
128
00:05:45.399 --> 00:05:47.040
the evening or early morning.
129
00:05:47.240 --> 00:05:51.399
Like, come on, there are whole like podcasts and Facebook
130
00:05:51.439 --> 00:05:54.279
pages about the Rainy Street Rippers what some of them
131
00:05:54.279 --> 00:05:57.480
are being called, or the Ladybird Lake murders.
132
00:05:57.720 --> 00:06:02.480
Yeah, it's I don't know, it's nobody drowned. We have
133
00:06:02.519 --> 00:06:07.639
that many drownings in the thirty years before all this happened, right,
134
00:06:08.240 --> 00:06:11.399
you know what I mean in Ladybird Lake. Then all
135
00:06:11.439 --> 00:06:13.399
of a sudden, I'm just not buying it. I don't
136
00:06:13.480 --> 00:06:16.319
they don't say it's I don't know. I think they're
137
00:06:16.319 --> 00:06:20.920
going to avoid panic or vigilanteism. Please, it's fine, you guys,
138
00:06:20.959 --> 00:06:22.800
it's fine, right, keep moving, it's fine.
139
00:06:23.199 --> 00:06:27.600
So the last one, I definitely remember this name, Roxane Paltov.
140
00:06:28.120 --> 00:06:29.199
Oh, the motel girl.
141
00:06:29.360 --> 00:06:32.759
Yeah, in two thousand and six, she vanished after an
142
00:06:32.879 --> 00:06:35.519
argument with her boyfriend at an Austin area motel and
143
00:06:35.560 --> 00:06:38.120
has never been found. Kind of like a Rachel Cook
144
00:06:38.199 --> 00:06:41.439
kind of disappearance. I got a question, go ahead, Jimmy. Oh,
145
00:06:41.480 --> 00:06:47.800
but the boyfriend was cleared. I mean that's that's the obvious, right, yeah, yeah,
146
00:06:48.040 --> 00:06:51.040
argument and then she goes missing. Yeah, they say multiple
147
00:06:51.079 --> 00:06:56.680
persons of interest of surface, including her boyfriend, but still
148
00:06:57.399 --> 00:06:59.639
nobody's been arrested for it, and her body has never
149
00:06:59.680 --> 00:07:00.000
been fit.
150
00:07:00.879 --> 00:07:03.480
So let me ask you this, just for clarification.
151
00:07:04.079 --> 00:07:07.959
Is a motel that when you can you can see
152
00:07:08.000 --> 00:07:11.600
your car when you open your room's door, that's a motel.
153
00:07:11.279 --> 00:07:13.160
Right doors around the eye side.
154
00:07:13.360 --> 00:07:14.399
You might have to look down.
155
00:07:14.439 --> 00:07:22.000
If it's a two story motel, that's a motel. Yeah, right, okay, hotel.
156
00:07:22.439 --> 00:07:24.720
You open your door, you can't see your car. There's
157
00:07:24.720 --> 00:07:27.879
a hallway. Get a hallway with the hotel.
158
00:07:27.800 --> 00:07:29.120
With really gaudy carpet.
159
00:07:29.560 --> 00:07:32.759
Yes, yes, yes, that would be a hotel. Okay. I'm
160
00:07:32.800 --> 00:07:34.800
always how am I this age?
161
00:07:35.399 --> 00:07:40.240
And not until I got perfect clarification and understanding of
162
00:07:40.279 --> 00:07:41.240
it this.
163
00:07:41.160 --> 00:07:44.160
Late life, I feel like a good A good six
164
00:07:44.279 --> 00:07:47.480
or eight out of ten motels are named the Sands Motel.
165
00:07:48.680 --> 00:07:52.439
I don't have any evidence or any numbers, but it
166
00:07:52.639 --> 00:07:55.600
just feels like it's always the Sands Motel.
167
00:07:55.839 --> 00:08:00.000
What was the one in the seventies or early eighties
168
00:08:00.240 --> 00:08:04.279
that had the little sleepwalking bear with the pajamason and
169
00:08:04.319 --> 00:08:05.560
the cap with.
170
00:08:05.439 --> 00:08:08.639
The yes with the speaker. Who is the guy with
171
00:08:08.720 --> 00:08:15.920
the deep deep voice? Motels motel said, Oh, he's gonna
172
00:08:15.959 --> 00:08:18.319
leave the light on for you. That's right, not to
173
00:08:18.399 --> 00:08:20.959
be not to be confused with Howard Johnson's.
174
00:08:20.560 --> 00:08:24.800
Either Howard Johnson's that's Motel, right is that motel was
175
00:08:25.720 --> 00:08:27.920
a restaurant, but it was It was a restaurant too.
176
00:08:28.160 --> 00:08:30.199
They used to have all you can eat clams on Thursday.
177
00:08:30.639 --> 00:08:35.519
I think it's Motel, Howard Johnson's hotel.
178
00:08:35.639 --> 00:08:38.639
What about Red roof Finn What is that?
179
00:08:40.399 --> 00:08:42.519
And where does that fall in the list?
180
00:08:42.639 --> 00:08:45.240
I genterally have a rule with hotels that they have
181
00:08:45.360 --> 00:08:48.000
to be at least a mile off of a main
182
00:08:48.120 --> 00:08:54.600
highway from it's at least one mile off. Why I
183
00:08:54.879 --> 00:08:58.639
just except I broke my rule when I first moved
184
00:08:58.679 --> 00:08:59.960
to Austin back in ninety six.
185
00:09:01.120 --> 00:09:04.120
Is the Holiday Inn at Town Lake still there? Yep?
186
00:09:04.240 --> 00:09:07.360
The round building, the round one still that was an
187
00:09:07.600 --> 00:09:12.480
iconic skyline building for Austin back in the day because
188
00:09:12.480 --> 00:09:13.519
it was round.
189
00:09:17.919 --> 00:09:22.879
Com Hey, if you just joined us to make sure
190
00:09:22.919 --> 00:09:24.799
you get here a little bit earlier tomorrow. We do
191
00:09:24.840 --> 00:09:28.000
it every day from seven until eight o'clock. Some of
192
00:09:28.000 --> 00:09:31.480
the stuff we were talking about earlier. Rodeo Austin gets
193
00:09:31.519 --> 00:09:34.279
kicked off on Friday. We talked about some of the
194
00:09:34.279 --> 00:09:38.240
cold cases in Austin, which is always just amazing that
195
00:09:38.279 --> 00:09:40.879
there's just no suspects or no leads and what we
196
00:09:41.000 --> 00:09:44.600
do rattled off five different cases. But don't think that
197
00:09:44.600 --> 00:09:47.120
those police officers stop working on them, because they do.
198
00:09:47.159 --> 00:09:49.159
They continue to work on the cases. We just don't
199
00:09:49.159 --> 00:09:52.840
hear about it very much. So, uh, JB's all fired
200
00:09:52.919 --> 00:09:54.840
up because you just discovered something. I'm curious for you
201
00:09:54.879 --> 00:09:56.759
to tell us about. It's called Race Club.
202
00:09:57.320 --> 00:10:00.200
I haven't been I keep you know, I'm sure I'm
203
00:10:00.200 --> 00:10:05.000
getting the algorithm on social media for me pulls this
204
00:10:05.159 --> 00:10:07.960
up because I follow so much car stuff.
205
00:10:08.320 --> 00:10:09.480
Yeah right, but.
206
00:10:09.399 --> 00:10:12.399
It's a it's a it's a new place in Austin.
207
00:10:12.440 --> 00:10:16.240
I'm dying to go check out. It's called the Race Club.
208
00:10:16.279 --> 00:10:20.960
It's on North Burnett near Wells Branch Howard Lane, ish
209
00:10:21.399 --> 00:10:26.879
And these are driving simulators that are crazy advanced. Like
210
00:10:27.519 --> 00:10:31.000
cause it's funny, I would love to have a man
211
00:10:31.039 --> 00:10:33.879
cave at my house. My house is so tiny, I'd
212
00:10:33.879 --> 00:10:37.080
have to anyhow build one of that. I was looking
213
00:10:37.080 --> 00:10:38.679
at them. You could buy one of these for like
214
00:10:38.720 --> 00:10:42.200
fifteen twenty thousand dollars, which sounds like a crazy amount
215
00:10:42.240 --> 00:10:46.159
of money, but sports cars cost way more than that,
216
00:10:47.120 --> 00:10:54.080
And these driving simulators are very realistic, very like even
217
00:10:54.120 --> 00:10:57.159
professional drivers use these so they can get familiar with
218
00:10:57.200 --> 00:10:59.919
the course before they go to it and just say
219
00:11:00.080 --> 00:11:03.559
sharp without the expense of running a race car. I
220
00:11:03.600 --> 00:11:05.879
know a couple of professional drivers. They use these, and
221
00:11:05.919 --> 00:11:09.919
they're like, you know, the seat floats and vibrates and moves,
222
00:11:10.000 --> 00:11:13.080
and why thrush you forward if you hit the brakes
223
00:11:13.159 --> 00:11:16.840
and launches you back when you accelerate, and you feel
224
00:11:16.879 --> 00:11:19.320
every bump and bounce and you can you spin the
225
00:11:19.360 --> 00:11:22.000
car out if you're if you're you're not driving it
226
00:11:22.039 --> 00:11:25.440
properly and plug in race courses all over the world
227
00:11:25.480 --> 00:11:27.799
like every F one course or whatever whatever you want
228
00:11:27.840 --> 00:11:31.519
to do, and it's I was looking at it, it's
229
00:11:31.639 --> 00:11:35.159
pretty reasonable as far as like entertainment. If you wanted
230
00:11:35.159 --> 00:11:37.120
to get your buddies together. I don't know if you
231
00:11:37.200 --> 00:11:39.679
have to be a certain age or something like that,
232
00:11:39.960 --> 00:11:42.440
it would make sense because you're not actually on the road.
233
00:11:42.480 --> 00:11:44.960
You could do it under without a driver's license, but
234
00:11:45.200 --> 00:11:48.440
I can't confirm that. It just looks like so much
235
00:11:48.639 --> 00:11:49.360
stink and fun.
236
00:11:50.200 --> 00:11:52.320
It looks like you need to like I'm looking that.
237
00:11:52.440 --> 00:11:56.480
The prices are not bad, but it says for membership.
238
00:11:56.559 --> 00:12:01.720
So like thirty minutes is thirty nine dollars. Thirty minutes
239
00:12:01.799 --> 00:12:02.519
is a long time.
240
00:12:02.559 --> 00:12:07.039
That doesn't sound like much, but having driven a race
241
00:12:07.120 --> 00:12:10.200
car on a track, that's a long time. Like you're
242
00:12:10.200 --> 00:12:13.200
gonna be tired at the end. Yeah, it just takes
243
00:12:13.279 --> 00:12:16.600
every ounce of energy. Things happened fast in forty nine
244
00:12:16.639 --> 00:12:17.879
bucks for sixty minutes.
245
00:12:18.279 --> 00:12:20.399
Yeah, that's pretty cool.
246
00:12:20.639 --> 00:12:23.000
And then they have they have like leagues, race leagues
247
00:12:23.039 --> 00:12:26.360
and stuff like that. I don't know, it just looks
248
00:12:26.559 --> 00:12:27.399
really cool.
249
00:12:27.720 --> 00:12:30.279
I got to do something similar to this, but it
250
00:12:30.320 --> 00:12:34.159
was so My cousin is a is a pilot in
251
00:12:34.200 --> 00:12:36.919
the Navy, flies a fighter jet in the Navy. And
252
00:12:37.000 --> 00:12:40.759
when he got his wings graduating from flight school down
253
00:12:40.759 --> 00:12:44.200
at Naval air Station Kingsville, Landry. Our daughter and I
254
00:12:44.440 --> 00:12:47.320
we went down there for the ceremony for the graduation,
255
00:12:47.679 --> 00:12:50.799
and when we got there, he took us and put
256
00:12:50.879 --> 00:12:54.440
us into the flight simulator that they used to train
257
00:12:54.519 --> 00:12:59.200
on and it was like you're flying the airplane and
258
00:12:59.279 --> 00:13:02.200
trying to land it on an aircraft carrier. It was
259
00:13:02.320 --> 00:13:05.000
really cool. I mean, you like felt like Maverick sitting
260
00:13:05.039 --> 00:13:06.960
in there. I was like, I'm a slam on the brake,
261
00:13:07.000 --> 00:13:08.320
so I'll fly right by.
262
00:13:08.279 --> 00:13:11.360
Yes, it's the real deal. I know a guy that
263
00:13:12.000 --> 00:13:17.879
does American Airlines training. Yeah, and like Arlington, Texas, and
264
00:13:17.919 --> 00:13:21.399
so it's a simulator that's just like flying the real thing.
265
00:13:22.080 --> 00:13:23.679
Right, it's amazingly cool.
266
00:13:23.720 --> 00:13:27.879
Even the sounds of it are thing, you know, like if, ah,
267
00:13:28.039 --> 00:13:30.240
if there was a I had a fire, but one
268
00:13:30.279 --> 00:13:31.799
of my engines caught on fire when I was my
269
00:13:32.039 --> 00:13:38.279
cousin did it on purpose, right, and he showed me
270
00:13:38.360 --> 00:13:40.360
how to turn it off, you know, how to extinguish it.
271
00:13:40.399 --> 00:13:41.679
Wait, clip, it's kind of cool.
272
00:13:41.919 --> 00:13:44.279
Did you did you successfully land it?
273
00:13:44.440 --> 00:13:48.679
No? No, our daughter Landry did. I did not. I Well,
274
00:13:48.919 --> 00:13:50.480
she had a little bit of help from Tyler.
275
00:13:50.559 --> 00:13:53.360
But I crashed and burned in the I think I
276
00:13:53.399 --> 00:13:56.360
was in the Persian Gulf and yeah, right to the
277
00:13:56.399 --> 00:13:59.720
bottom of the sea with a eighty million dollars. Yeah,
278
00:14:00.240 --> 00:14:02.799
it's but that's pretty cool. I'd go do it if
279
00:14:02.840 --> 00:14:03.879
you want to. I don't know if you have to
280
00:14:03.960 --> 00:14:05.679
join be a member of the club or what.
281
00:14:06.000 --> 00:14:08.799
Yeah, And there's all different levels of cars, like I
282
00:14:08.799 --> 00:14:10.960
think from Miata up to an F one.
283
00:14:11.279 --> 00:14:12.559
Well, why the hell would you want to be on.
284
00:14:12.600 --> 00:14:14.159
If you can drive an F one car.
285
00:14:14.039 --> 00:14:18.080
I think you need to start reasonable and get better
286
00:14:18.120 --> 00:14:18.360
at it.
287
00:14:18.399 --> 00:14:20.600
I mean it's different. It's a little different than my
288
00:14:20.639 --> 00:14:22.159
BMW I've done.
289
00:14:22.279 --> 00:14:24.679
I mean I've done some driver training. It's a world
290
00:14:24.759 --> 00:14:27.440
of difference. You know. You gotta get the right shoes, right,
291
00:14:28.159 --> 00:14:32.759
You get the right shoes and get your driving gloves.
292
00:14:33.039 --> 00:14:35.320
Yeah, I've got some with the fingers cut off. They're black.
293
00:14:35.519 --> 00:14:36.080
Oh my god.
294
00:14:36.159 --> 00:14:38.159
You and I would show up with a helmet on.
295
00:14:38.279 --> 00:14:41.759
They're like, it's a simulator. You don't need a helmet.
296
00:14:42.039 --> 00:14:43.039
It's see.
297
00:14:43.039 --> 00:14:45.519
They would drive there with the helmet and the driving
298
00:14:45.519 --> 00:14:52.120
gloves on to more coming up as dot com.
299
00:14:52.120 --> 00:14:53.320
Well, that's it.
300
00:14:53.799 --> 00:14:56.240
Do us a solid and copy and paste the link
301
00:14:56.320 --> 00:14:58.720
to this episode and send it to a friend or two.
302
00:14:59.120 --> 00:15:00.000
Thanks for listening.
303
00:15:00.000 --> 00:15:00.320
Thank
