Claude Code for B2B Marketers (with Corey Haines)

Dave [0:00:01]: You're listening to The Dave Gerhardt show.

Dave [0:00:02]: If Don Draper had access to Ai today here, there's no way he would ever go back.

Dave [0:00:21]: Think about it Don sits in his office, he dreams up a concept and that he wakes.

Dave [0:00:24]: Peggy comes in and writes the copy, then they send it down to Bob in the art department they build the mock up, weeks go by, meetings happen.

Dave [0:00:31]: They gotta get it approved.

Dave [0:00:32]: Eventually, they have posters.

Dave [0:00:33]: They carry around that that was the job then.

Dave [0:00:36]: My guest today thinks that we're about to look back at how we're doing marketing today.

Dave [0:00:40]: The same way that we look back now at Dawn and Peggy working on pen and paper to produce ads in the mad mandates.

Dave [0:00:47]: His name is Corey Haines.

Dave [0:00:48]: He is the founder of conversion factory, swipe files and marketing skills. com, which now has over twenty thousand stars on Github.

Dave [0:00:56]: He's gone all in.

Dave [0:00:57]: On Ai.

Dave [0:00:58]: He's one of the sharpest B2B marketers in Saas, and he's been fully Ai killed since twenty twenty three when he got laid off, flew to a stranger house in Atlanta, he met on Twitter and spent two weeks learning how to code.

Dave [0:01:10]: In this episode, he shows me how he works now.

Dave [0:01:12]: Live keyword research pulled straight from an Api, ten programmatic SEO pages generated about thirty seconds.

Dave [0:01:19]: He's cross in Google Search console fathom and keyword data to produce the kind of deliverable and SEO consultant charges you five figures for.

Dave [0:01:28]: He also showed me a Rev up skill that audits your Hubspot and builds out your lead scoring model.

Dave [0:01:33]: He even showed me a video editor running in his browser that allows him to use Claude to edit videos live on the spot that Claude made for him, but The real unlock in talking to Corey is the mindset shift.

Dave [0:01:44]: You stop being the type as the marketer or in the case of Don and Peggy in the creative department, and you actually become the creative director and Claude is the full stack team for you.

Dave [0:01:55]: This episode made me feel a little bit more like an Ai opt.

Dave [0:01:58]: Here's my conversation all about Ai and marketing skills with Corey Haines.

Dave [0:02:02]: Alright.

Dave [0:02:04]: Corey Haines is on is on my podcast.

Dave [0:02:06]: Today.

Dave [0:02:07]: I'm excited to have you, man.

Dave [0:02:08]: No better time to have you now because if I think if I were to look up the term Ai pill marketer, I would find your face right

Corey [0:02:16]: now, probably.

Corey [0:02:17]: Man, I gotta I gotta make that my new metal title on my on my personal site.

Corey [0:02:22]: Ai.

Corey [0:02:23]: I peeled marketer like that.

Dave [0:02:24]: Yeah.

Dave [0:02:24]: You should.

Dave [0:02:25]: You should.

Dave [0:02:25]: I see you.

Dave [0:02:26]: Every...

Dave [0:02:26]: If one more person sends me ef Corey Haines, Claude code skill.

Dave [0:02:30]: I'm gonna...

Dave [0:02:31]: I'm gonna...

Dave [0:02:32]: You know, I don't even know what I'm gonna do, but it's great.

Dave [0:02:34]: You you're doing some cool stuff, can you we're gonna get into a bunch of stuff today.

Dave [0:02:39]: But before we do that, Can you just kinda, like, level set.

Dave [0:02:41]: Who are you?

Dave [0:02:42]: Maybe if some people listen to the show will know you built this swipe files thing a couple years ago, But I've seen you now.

Dave [0:02:48]: I associate you with Ai and marketing, but I'm not a good explain.

Dave [0:02:52]: So tell me that Corey Haines, like, one to two minute backstory, and then I got some questions I wanna get us into.

Corey [0:02:57]: Yeah.

Corey [0:02:57]: Yeah.

Corey [0:02:58]: Okay.

Corey [0:02:58]: So gosh, one to two minute version.

Corey [0:03:00]: Swimming my whole career and B2B Saas marketing.

Corey [0:03:02]: It bounced around a couple different start ups.

Corey [0:03:04]: Got laid off in Covid started doing a much of, like, consulting.

Corey [0:03:08]: When I started swipe files.

Corey [0:03:09]: It's a newsletter as, like, twenty seven thousand ish subscribers and just sharing everything case studies interesting tactics.

Corey [0:03:16]: And then in twenty twenty three, I started a Saas marketing agency conversion factory.

Corey [0:03:23]: And, actually, a month after, I started the agency, which funny story.

Corey [0:03:27]: It was, like, June twenty twenty three, I got laid off and I had booked a coding boot camp the week before.

Corey [0:03:34]: And so, like, July started conversion factory, August flew to some random house from some guy on Twitter outside of Atlanta for two weeks.

Corey [0:03:43]: Learned a code.

Corey [0:03:44]: And then ever since then, I've been...

Corey [0:03:47]: I guess, like, Ai pill.

Corey [0:03:48]: I don't know I feel like it's getting a little bit cliche and Ic to say things like that.

Dave [0:03:53]: I like it.

Dave [0:03:53]: I love it.

Dave [0:03:54]: I love...

Dave [0:03:54]: I love the phrase.

Dave [0:03:55]: I'm saying it over and over and over Telling everyone.

Dave [0:03:58]: I'm Ai pill.

Dave [0:03:59]: This is just how I am, my wife.

Dave [0:04:01]: I always complain to my wife I'm like, nobody ever asked how I'm doing?

Dave [0:04:03]: How am I doing?

Dave [0:04:04]: But that she's like, it's because you don't shut up You ask so many damn questions, but I don't let people gloss over.

Dave [0:04:10]: How are you doing, Dave?

Dave [0:04:11]: I'm doing great.

Dave [0:04:12]: I'm doing great.

Dave [0:04:13]: I'm good.

Dave [0:04:13]: I got...

Dave [0:04:14]: I'm good, man.

Corey [0:04:15]: Okay.

Corey [0:04:15]: Now asking.

Dave [0:04:16]: I'll put that in the bank.

Dave [0:04:16]: Yeah.

Dave [0:04:17]: So two weeks at some guy's house in Atlanta.

Dave [0:04:19]: Mh.

Dave [0:04:20]: Off of Twitter.

Corey [0:04:22]: Mh.

Corey [0:04:22]: Yeah.

Corey [0:04:22]: This guy, Ryan Ko.

Corey [0:04:24]: He's like a cereal Saas entrepreneur founders like acquired some businesses, sold some businesses.

Corey [0:04:29]: He made some some courses for looting...

Corey [0:04:32]: Learning a Ruby Rails.

Corey [0:04:33]: And I'm a marketer, but in Spirit, I'm a founder and an entrepreneur, and I always wanted to build things.

Corey [0:04:40]: I was just really tired and frustrated of trying to lean on someone else to do that part for me.

Corey [0:04:45]: So I was like, screw it.

Corey [0:04:47]: I'm just going to lock myself in his house with an nine strangers for two weeks.

Corey [0:04:52]: But that was his whole offer.

Corey [0:04:53]: He was like, I've made these online courses.

Corey [0:04:55]: But if you haven't done them yet because it just haven't taken the time, fly to my house, stay here for two weeks, and you will learn how to code by the end.

Dave [0:05:03]: No.

Dave [0:05:03]: I love.

Dave [0:05:03]: I think, I...

Dave [0:05:04]: It's an amazing forcing function.

Dave [0:05:05]: It's like, having a personal trainer.

Dave [0:05:06]: It's like, my to do list, I have a thousand videos I'm never gonna watch.

Dave [0:05:10]: But if you...

Dave [0:05:11]: The forcing function of, like, I'm gonna pay for this thing.

Dave [0:05:13]: I'm gonna fly there.

Dave [0:05:14]: I'm gonna be there.

Dave [0:05:14]: I got nothing else to do.

Dave [0:05:15]: My question was gonna be what made you wanna go from marketer to learning how to code, and I think that's perfectly describes that.

Dave [0:05:22]: I've always described myself personally As, like, I'm a marketer, but I'm like, entrepreneurial kinda of marketer.

Dave [0:05:27]: I I'm a cool kind of marketer.

Dave [0:05:28]: I'm like, I'm not just a marketer.

Corey [0:05:31]: I'm not just a chill and

Dave [0:05:34]: So the timing of this then, like, twenty twenty three.

Dave [0:05:36]: Obviously, this is who knows whatever Gp model that was.

Dave [0:05:39]: But that was the thing.

Dave [0:05:40]: And so it's probably like that.

Dave [0:05:42]: That thing ran a parallel track to, like, you going deep, learning how to code getting into the more engineering side and building side perfect storm, perfect timing comes along, ant philanthropic, open Ai, all these tools come out.

Dave [0:05:54]: Was there a moment for you?

Dave [0:05:56]: That was like, damn.

Dave [0:05:57]: I can see how this is gonna change how I would do marketing if I was doing something today.

Dave [0:06:02]: Like, what was that moment?

Corey [0:06:03]: Yeah.

Corey [0:06:03]: It's funny because I think a lot of people describe it as, oh, the first time I used Chat Or the first time it made copy that wasn't involved, for me, it was at that coding boot camps.

Corey [0:06:13]: Because I was already using Chat and using it for marketing and copywriting things and trying to you know, use it as my my c copilot and my brainstorming assistant and whatever.

Corey [0:06:23]: But when I was at that boot camp, so there's this thing called a an Ide.

Corey [0:06:27]: It's a code editor.

Corey [0:06:28]: That's where you write code when you publish to an app or our website.

Corey [0:06:32]: And so there's a bunch of big ones, you know, Vs code and Adam and all these ones.

Corey [0:06:36]: And while I was at the boot camp, it's like, ten random dudes in this guy's garage.

Corey [0:06:41]: Right?

Corey [0:06:42]: And so we're all just, like, struggling and fighting every day to figure out how to make this stuff work.

Corey [0:06:46]: And some guy was like, hey, I just found a Vs code fork that has chat in the code editor.

Corey [0:06:53]: And we were like, what?

Corey [0:06:55]: No way.

Corey [0:06:55]: Because we were already also getting used to having chat Kind of squash bug for us some problem solve I'm like, why isn't this working?

Corey [0:07:04]: Okay.

Corey [0:07:04]: It's giving us some code back.

Corey [0:07:05]: It's not very good, but we're just gonna keep copying and pasting, and that was cursor.

Corey [0:07:10]: So I started using cursor, and Cursor was, like, okay, This is an Eighty that has Ai in it and the unlock there is that you're not just, like, copy and pasting things back and forth.

Corey [0:07:21]: It is in your workspace.

Corey [0:07:25]: It has full context of everything that you're doing that you're working on And immediately for me, that was like, oh, this is how Ai should work.

Corey [0:07:33]: Ai should be in all the things that I'm doing and implementing and building for me.

Corey [0:07:39]: I shouldn't have to be, like, copy and pasting back and forth between everything.

Corey [0:07:42]: And I I feel like only now two years later, are marketers and everybody else catching up to that same kind of moment of Ai being in your workspace because it was first in the Ide for developers And now two years later marketers like, oh my gosh.

Corey [0:08:01]: What if I can have Ai in my email marketing platform.

Corey [0:08:05]: What if I can Ai like, yeah.

Corey [0:08:07]: It's awesome.

Corey [0:08:08]: Right?

Corey [0:08:08]: Like, this is what I kind of saw and realized two years ago that is only really now recently possible.

Corey [0:08:14]: Honestly, because of things like marketing skills because of cloud code because of having just a little bit of technical acumen to be able to upload or copy and paste Api keys in the right places, but But Cursor was the big unlock.

Dave [0:08:29]: So tell me about shifting now into...

Dave [0:08:31]: So you've built this thing called marketing skills.

Dave [0:08:33]: Let's use that as a before we maybe show some stuff, talk about marketing skills.

Corey [0:08:37]: Yeah.

Corey [0:08:37]: I do like my SEO optimized name for it.

Dave [0:08:40]: I do.

Dave [0:08:40]: I love it.

Dave [0:08:41]: My...

Dave [0:08:41]: I'm I'm the worst name or ever I always go for the most literal the literal name.

Dave [0:08:46]: If it's not cute.

Dave [0:08:47]: I don't want it.

Dave [0:08:47]: So I...

Dave [0:08:48]: I'm, you know, well, I guess all my names are not cute, So I got it all marketing skills.

Dave [0:08:52]: So how did you create this?

Dave [0:08:53]: And what is it for people that don't know.

Corey [0:08:56]: Yeah.

Corey [0:08:56]: Marketing skills is a collection of skills for Ai agents, and philanthropic originally created the paradigm of a skill, which is essentially like a hard coded prompt in an Ai agent like cloud code codecs.

Corey [0:09:10]: Cursor win surf, you know, whatever.

Corey [0:09:12]: Pick your poison.

Corey [0:09:13]: So the skill allows the Ai agent to do things better than it would before because it's all gone going off of training data and a lot of good examples, a lot of bad examples, and so the skill helps to make it better at that thing.

Corey [0:09:29]: And it also gives it really specific Sop, processes, frameworks.

Corey [0:09:34]: As sort of, like, this is exactly how you should do it, Do not deviate it from it, because it really tight guard rails.

Corey [0:09:41]: What I started doing was I'm coding now.

Corey [0:09:44]: I'm using cursor.

Corey [0:09:45]: I'm liking that workflow, and I'm trying to take that workflow and do everything marketing in it as well.

Corey [0:09:52]: But I'm struggling because I have to keep copy and pasting the same prompts into cursor every single time.

Corey [0:10:00]: I have to figure out how do I give it the right context and load in the right information for what I'm working on.

Corey [0:10:06]: How do I connect all these tools together.

Corey [0:10:09]: So I started building a, get a repo of, like, this is my brain.

Corey [0:10:14]: These are all of my Sw newsletters.

Corey [0:10:17]: These are my agency, Sop and playbook.

Corey [0:10:20]: These are the templates.

Corey [0:10:21]: These are the, you know, so on and so forth.

Dave [0:10:23]: Were these things you already had had in your head, like, a framework for this, a a methodology for that?

Dave [0:10:28]: Or did you have to make...

Dave [0:10:29]: Yeah.

Dave [0:10:30]: You had them already.

Dave [0:10:30]: Okay.

Corey [0:10:31]: I'm a big framework guy.

Corey [0:10:32]: So, like, everything is white files every course ebook, whatever I've ever created is like, Yeah.

Corey [0:10:37]: Me just trying to make sense of Yeah.

Corey [0:10:39]: How to do something.

Corey [0:10:40]: And so I just...

Corey [0:10:42]: I I have to break it down.

Dave [0:10:43]: Can I give you the opposite?

Dave [0:10:44]: I'm not like that at all.

Dave [0:10:45]: I'm much more of like a freestyle styler.

Corey [0:10:48]: All that terri me.

Dave [0:10:50]: Oh, yeah.

Dave [0:10:50]: Of course.

Dave [0:10:50]: Everybody's got their own taste.

Dave [0:10:52]: Right?

Dave [0:10:53]: But what was cool for me was actually being able to use Claude explained my style and the things that I like for the first time.

Corey [0:11:03]: Mh.

Dave [0:11:03]: And so I was then able to create skills from that.

Dave [0:11:06]: And so I've had this cloud project forever where I edit my newsletter.

Dave [0:11:10]: And I can't ever articulate what my editing style is and what I like, and I don't like, but I was able to say, like, hey, what are the patterns that I have and so I basically created, like, the system prompt from that.

Dave [0:11:22]: And so now I have it.

Dave [0:11:23]: And now I've been able to like, give that to the whole team which has been so helpful or, like, I'm not a designer.

Dave [0:11:29]: I feel like I know what I want, but I can't say it in design language.

Dave [0:11:33]: You know, like, we'll be driving down the road and, you know, my wife will be.

Dave [0:11:37]: I look at that little, you know, nineteen sixty style, whatever, colonial.

Dave [0:11:40]: I I don't even know what what the hell does that mean?

Dave [0:11:42]: I can't say those things, but I can go to Ai, and I could say these are three websites that I really like.

Dave [0:11:47]: By the way, corey site is marketing dash skills.com if you wanna...

Dave [0:11:50]: You look it up and we'll show a bunch of stuff too, but, like, how would I describe that style.

Dave [0:11:54]: Now I have someone that can do that.

Dave [0:11:56]: So that's essentially what skills are.

Dave [0:11:58]: Now.

Dave [0:11:58]: It's like Damn, this was the big unlock for me?

Dave [0:12:00]: It's like, oh my gosh.

Dave [0:12:01]: I go back and think about things in my marketing career.

Dave [0:12:03]: Like, dude I used to be the bottleneck for everybody on edits.

Dave [0:12:06]: On landing page.

Dave [0:12:07]: Like, it used to be...

Dave [0:12:08]: Like, when I was working at drift, it was, like, doug, did dave did did you take a look at this page.

Dave [0:12:12]: Now it's like, if we had this skill, we'd be able to go and reference it, which is so cool.

Dave [0:12:16]: And this is why I wanna have you on because you've built a bunch of cool stuff.

Dave [0:12:20]: People can go look it, but I I'd love to maybe think about two or three examples for people.

Dave [0:12:25]: I don't know if you wanna show something or you just wanna talk through it.

Dave [0:12:28]: I've.

Dave [0:12:28]: Things that are particularly useful for B2B markers.

Dave [0:12:31]: Having you on is not just like a generic guy to talk about Ai.

Dave [0:12:35]: You actually, like, worked in this world and did the job.

Dave [0:12:37]: So I I'd love to have you show some stuff.

Dave [0:12:39]: Yeah.

Corey [0:12:40]: Do you want me to share my screen right now?

Corey [0:12:41]: Share it.

Corey [0:12:42]: Share it.

Corey [0:12:43]: Okay.

Corey [0:12:44]: Couple of ideas for you.

Corey [0:12:46]: Number one.

Corey [0:12:47]: Okay.

Corey [0:12:47]: So I have this little environment called my skills demo because I've done this like, several times down and it's really scary to try to do this completely unprepared.

Dave [0:12:56]: You really know how to make a guy feel special.

Dave [0:12:58]: Alright.

Dave [0:12:58]: Thank you for that.

Corey [0:13:02]: This is my my usual date spot.

Corey [0:13:03]: Yeah.

Corey [0:13:03]: I come here every time.

Corey [0:13:04]: I know it's to order.

Corey [0:13:05]: No.

Corey [0:13:06]: It's it's out of love to try to give the the audience the best thing possible.

Dave [0:13:10]: So good.

Dave [0:13:10]: Nobody listens to other people's shows.

Dave [0:13:12]: The the just this one.

Dave [0:13:13]: So this is good.

Dave [0:13:13]: Alright.

Corey [0:13:14]: Alright just yours.

Corey [0:13:16]: The number one on the charts for U Saas marketers.

Corey [0:13:18]: So...

Corey [0:13:19]: But this is a terminal Just trying to explain like okay.

Corey [0:13:21]: What are we even looking at here?

Corey [0:13:22]: That's a terminal.

Corey [0:13:23]: It's a specific terminal called Solo.

Corey [0:13:25]: That doesn't really matter.

Corey [0:13:26]: One thing we might wanna talk about, We can jump around a whole bunch is, like, why use cloud code in the terminal versus cloud codecs or cloud in the browser, essentially, the closer to the metal, you're gonna get the more power and more options you're gonna have.

Corey [0:13:42]: And so I just can never go back, like once you start using cloud code the terminal, you don't wanna do it anywhere else.

Corey [0:13:48]: I've made this little demo environment.

Dave [0:13:50]: And you you feel that way even since, like, recently, they've...

Dave [0:13:53]: There is an interface now in their, like, desktop app that is cloud code.

Dave [0:13:57]: You still feel this is this is where you wanna be at?

Corey [0:14:00]: Yes.

Corey [0:14:00]: Because god, I hate to be so annoying and talk about first principals.

Corey [0:14:04]: But...

Dave [0:14:05]: Don't, dude this people love this stuff.

Dave [0:14:06]: Are you kidding?

Dave [0:14:06]: They're like, wait.

Dave [0:14:07]: You send the email on Tuesday?

Dave [0:14:08]: What time on Tuesday?

Dave [0:14:09]: Okay.

Dave [0:14:09]: Yeah.

Dave [0:14:10]: Is that...

Dave [0:14:10]: You know, So it's okay.

Corey [0:14:12]: So this is my, like, super superpower a little bit is because when Was at the boot up, I did everything the hardware way, and I learned to codes.

Corey [0:14:18]: But...

Corey [0:14:18]: And when you learn to code, it's more like you learn how the internet works.

Corey [0:14:21]: And so for, like, first principles, you just understand, oh, this is how Web app works.

Corey [0:14:25]: This is how coding works.

Corey [0:14:26]: This is how everything gets rendered an in a browser and a bunch of other jargon, Grab Cookie things.

Corey [0:14:31]: And so every time that I see a model update, which there was one today, actually, as of this recording, Opus four point seven.

Corey [0:14:38]: Every time that I see an update in where the coding agents, I sort of inherently know what's possible and what's not possible and what can be improve what can't be improved.

Corey [0:14:48]: And so every time that I look at an update on the cloud desktop app.

Corey [0:14:52]: I love it.

Corey [0:14:53]: And I think eventually, all these different versions of cloud are gonna converge into the same thing.

Corey [0:14:59]: But on the desktop, you're still gonna be ham strong a little bit.

Corey [0:15:03]: You're just never gonna have one hundred percent control on this, you're.

Corey [0:15:06]: Building out of the terminal, because the terminals, like the backdoor jail bro version of accessing your computer and all the tools in your computer.

Corey [0:15:15]: The browser is just being one of them.

Corey [0:15:17]: Your desktop app is like, one layer higher.

Corey [0:15:20]: It's better than the browser, but it's still not, like full mode, and then the browser is, like, nerf norm mode.

Corey [0:15:28]: So you're not gonna have as many options.

Corey [0:15:31]: So I'm like, I'm always gonna be a terminal stand a little bit because I'm, like, it's not that hard.

Corey [0:15:38]: It...

Corey [0:15:38]: It's just open up the terminal and get cloud code going.

Corey [0:15:41]: It's not...

Corey [0:15:41]: I made this whole site for you to make it really easy.

Dave [0:15:44]: Well, I also feel like what now is, like, I can actually ask Claude to explain anything that I would need anyway.

Dave [0:15:50]: And so it's like, hey I'm trying to do this, and it's like, oh, here's how do, you know, here's what this meeting.

Dave [0:15:53]: Here's how do you get it started.

Dave [0:15:54]: I was on a webinar recently with a bunch of people learning cloud code for the first time and, like, twenty minutes in, all the comments in the chair Like, wait, What what is...

Dave [0:16:03]: How do I install this?

Dave [0:16:04]: What is the terminal and I'm like, because I'm an a pill team m and Ai peeled guy.

Dave [0:16:08]: Now, Corey, Obviously, I'm like, Claude.

Dave [0:16:10]: How do I do this?

Dave [0:16:10]: You know?

Corey [0:16:12]: Yes.

Corey [0:16:12]: Problem your way through it.

Corey [0:16:13]: It's not Rocket science.

Corey [0:16:14]: Ai is everywhere.

Corey [0:16:16]: Use it somewhere.

Corey [0:16:17]: Copy and paste things back and forth.

Corey [0:16:19]: Take screenshots, figure it out.

Dave [0:16:21]: Alright.

Dave [0:16:21]: Show me some stuff.

Dave [0:16:22]: I think my message to everybody is, like, I think this is how I learn.

Dave [0:16:25]: I I can't say what's good for you, but I think Corey actually saying this is a perfect example.

Dave [0:16:29]: I could watch a million videos.

Dave [0:16:31]: I could listen to a million podcast.

Dave [0:16:32]: Things don't click for me until I have to, like, go and do something for real, and so it's like, give yourself a project, give yourself a task to try to go and do and maybe now you'll give us some good examples to get inspiration from.

Corey [0:16:43]: Yeah.

Corey [0:16:43]: I've got a couple of things maybe that we can layer on top of each other.

Corey [0:16:47]: So let's start with this.

Corey [0:16:48]: Let's show the data for SEO capabilities by doing some basic keyword research for, my form builder Saas tool, which is just a demo site, but we'll do some keyword research on things related to a form Saas would want to rank for, and then give me a list back, do it quickly.

Corey [0:17:09]: Should said make no mistakes.

Corey [0:17:11]: Sometimes I gotta, like, for these demos, I gotta tell it.

Corey [0:17:14]: Don't go off on a journey for ten minutes just do something that I can show the people, please.

Corey [0:17:20]: Couple things.

Corey [0:17:21]: One, I love watching the Ai work because you kind of understand what it's doing.

Corey [0:17:25]: So what I've done is I've of I've uploaded a bunch of my Api keys and login in info for a couple of tools that I use in the terminal so that it has access.

Corey [0:17:37]: So another reason why the terminals go is because you can just do stuff like this and and then you just tell Cloud, like, figure out a way to make this work.

Corey [0:17:45]: You're not dependence on the codex, little connectors and these fragile little integrations that everything has to work perfectly every time, Cloud will figure it out cloud codes specifically will make anything work.

Corey [0:17:59]: And you can just chat with it until it does.

Corey [0:18:02]: So what I'm trying to get it to do is to do some keyword research for this tool data for SEO.

Corey [0:18:07]: This is just an Api for SEO data.

Corey [0:18:10]: It's really cheap.

Corey [0:18:11]: So it's a great way to just like, screw around and see what's out there.

Corey [0:18:16]: But while this is going to, I'll go on a little tangent that the biggest limit right now for what marketers can do with these agent tools is just the capabilities that these marketing tools let you work with the Ai tools.

Corey [0:18:30]: They need Apis.

Corey [0:18:31]: They need Cli.

Corey [0:18:33]: They need Mc.

Corey [0:18:34]: They need all the acronyms for developer things.

Corey [0:18:37]: You can only do as much as these tools will let you through a coding agent.

Corey [0:18:42]: So this is one that was like, hey.

Corey [0:18:44]: This is an Api first product.

Corey [0:18:46]: This was built to be used this way.

Corey [0:18:49]: Not every tool has those capabilities.

Corey [0:18:51]: Every one of these things that it's doing is it's pinging the Api, which is just going and grabbing structured data somewhere, and it's pulling in and it's trying to organize it here together.

Corey [0:19:03]: So this is pretty magic because think about the process of keyword research.

Corey [0:19:08]: I have to sit down and think what do my customers care about?

Corey [0:19:12]: What are they probably searching for?

Corey [0:19:13]: What are my competitors doing?

Corey [0:19:15]: Let me see if I can go reverse engineer what they're trying to rank for?

Corey [0:19:19]: And then I have to go and screw around at something like Ahrefs?

Corey [0:19:22]: For, like, a million years, build a list probably in ahrefs or in a Google sheets somewhere, and then try to organize it somehow.

Corey [0:19:30]: Ai just did all of this in thirty seconds, which felt like an eternity waiting for this to populate here on on the live screen share.

Dave [0:19:38]: I, look, I I mean, I've spent tens of thousands of dollars on SEO projects and what you get out is a spreadsheet pack, you know?

Corey [0:19:46]: Right.

Corey [0:19:46]: So people will look at this and, like, this is kinda what you would expect.

Corey [0:19:49]: Okay.

Corey [0:19:49]: We have some alternative based keywords we have these Pdf form builder, Excel form builder, Google survey, form builder.

Corey [0:19:56]: But the point is that we have all the data in front of us.

Corey [0:20:00]: We have some long tail use cases, we can keep prompting it.

Corey [0:20:02]: We can keep saying give me more keywords.

Corey [0:20:04]: Help me think outside the box.

Corey [0:20:05]: Now I can start to feed us some additional points like, maybe let's say, find me keywords on form templates.

Corey [0:20:12]: This will lead into the next thing that we're gonna do.

Corey [0:20:15]: And I can just have a chat with Ai to find all the possible keywords that I might be interested in.

Corey [0:20:22]: One of the things I found specifically about SEO is that you don't know what you don't know.

Corey [0:20:27]: So, like, the hardest part about it is just trying to be exhaustive and comprehensive.

Corey [0:20:32]: And what is all the different things that I should be looking at every single competitor, every single, like, tangent website that could be playing in the same space as me.

Corey [0:20:41]: How do I cover all of my bases and make sure that we're we're thinking about everything that we should before we build our keyword strategy and make sure that we're going after the right keywords.

Corey [0:20:51]: Ai is the ultimate, like, brainstorming machine.

Corey [0:20:54]: Right?

Corey [0:20:54]: It's gonna go look through everything, build a super comprehensive list.

Corey [0:20:59]: It's gonna d dupes.

Corey [0:21:00]: It's gonna do all that work for you.

Dave [0:21:02]: So what do you do with this?

Dave [0:21:02]: Okay?

Dave [0:21:03]: So I get all this, like, this is cool.

Dave [0:21:04]: I'm doing some keyword research.

Dave [0:21:06]: This is gonna help me narrow down some keywords.

Dave [0:21:08]: We wanna go try to rank for some particular topics.

Dave [0:21:10]: Okay.

Dave [0:21:11]: What?

Dave [0:21:12]: Okay.

Dave [0:21:12]: But so what?

Corey [0:21:13]: Okay.

Corey [0:21:13]: So what?

Corey [0:21:14]: Let's do this now.

Corey [0:21:15]: So this is a programmatic SEO Jackpot.

Corey [0:21:18]: Thirty thousand combined monthly volume across template keywords, mostly low competition.

Corey [0:21:23]: It's making some suggestions here.

Corey [0:21:26]: So I'm gonna use one of my own skills, and I'm gonna say, let's use the programmatic SEO marketing skill to build out some pages that target some of these keywords, just produce the first ten, and then show me the local host version of the page once you create it.

Corey [0:21:45]: Because what I Wanna do now is I wanted to actually do something from this?

Corey [0:21:49]: Because you're hitting the nail on the head where you're like, alright.

Corey [0:21:52]: This is some cool data.

Corey [0:21:53]: This is definitely nice.

Corey [0:21:54]: But now if I actually wanna implement this, what do I do with this?

Corey [0:21:57]: This could be a year long project.

Corey [0:21:59]: How do I take all this structured data, all these keywords?

Corey [0:22:03]: How do I organize them?

Corey [0:22:05]: How do I build content around each of them?

Corey [0:22:07]: How do I build the pages, design the pages, make sure that the pages are, like, up to stuff as E wise, all the technical aspects and actually freaking launch this thing.

Corey [0:22:19]: Right?

Corey [0:22:19]: I mean, this used to take me a couple of months.

Corey [0:22:22]: Right?

Corey [0:22:23]: Like, programmatic SEO was, like,

Dave [0:22:25]: well, this would be the whole deliverable.

Dave [0:22:26]: The first step would be, like, here's the audit.

Corey [0:22:29]: Mh.

Corey [0:22:29]: Here's the data.

Corey [0:22:31]: Here's the plan.

Dave [0:22:32]: Here are the keywords.

Dave [0:22:32]: You're able to just reference your skill and it knows the skill.

Corey [0:22:36]: Yeah.

Corey [0:22:36]: So what happens with the skill is that it's this hard coded to prompt.

Corey [0:22:40]: So this actually gets saved.

Corey [0:22:42]: In this secret folder called .cloud or .agents in your computer.

Corey [0:22:47]: So when you download or install a skill, that gets saved on your computer.

Corey [0:22:53]: It's not, like some browser page that's referencing ras to go look up.

Corey [0:22:56]: Like, it's actually saved on your computer.

Corey [0:22:59]: And all the skills that you save are immediately reference at any time.

Corey [0:23:03]: Now if I were to, there...

Corey [0:23:06]: You can kinda invoke them in a couple of different ways, they're made to be kinda smart so that if you say, hey, let's build some programmatic SEO stuff, then it should know to invoke this skill because of the keyword programmatic SEO.

Corey [0:23:18]: You can also just tell it, use a skill.

Dave [0:23:21]: Got it.

Dave [0:23:21]: So once the skill has been installed, then that makes that the rest of that happen.

Corey [0:23:26]: Yes.

Corey [0:23:26]: Exactly.

Corey [0:23:26]: Now it's available for it to reference.

Corey [0:23:28]: And there's a whole skills marketplace.

Corey [0:23:30]: I don't know if you've seen this before Dave, but I spoke with these guys have been like a month ago in New York.

Corey [0:23:35]: This is a directory of skills.

Corey [0:23:37]: There's ninety one a thousand now.

Corey [0:23:41]: Out there.

Corey [0:23:42]: There's skills related to everything under the sun.

Corey [0:23:46]: Right?

Corey [0:23:46]: These are a bunch of mine.

Corey [0:23:47]: For a while heroes I was in the top ten, and then Microsoft came along.

Corey [0:23:50]: I was like, we'll take that.

Corey [0:23:51]: Thank you.

Dave [0:23:52]: Wait So did getting featured in this site though lead to why you have so much to discover maneuverability on Github, you know, you...

Dave [0:23:57]: I saw you you you...

Dave [0:23:58]: Your flex in the the h one on your...

Dave [0:24:00]: And you know.

Dave [0:24:00]: Above the headline is your twenty one thousand five hundred and sixty nine stars on Github.

Dave [0:24:05]: Let's go.

Corey [0:24:06]: Look that's

Dave [0:24:06]: the new flex.

Corey [0:24:07]: Definitely flex.

Corey [0:24:08]: Yeah.

Corey [0:24:09]: There's skills for everything.

Dave [0:24:10]: Yeah.

Dave [0:24:10]: This is cool.

Dave [0:24:11]: I think this week, ramp published this, like, how they made this basically operating system inside the company and they have three hundred skills from all the employees inside of the company Is like, man, that's so smart.

Dave [0:24:22]: Like, we're gonna democrat the knowledge inside of the company.

Dave [0:24:25]: Anyone who does anything that's repeatable work.

Dave [0:24:27]: Every company now can have their own internal library of skills for people.

Dave [0:24:31]: Hey, I'm just thinking about things we've done in the past.

Dave [0:24:34]: It's like, hey, we need to template for, like, sending out, a email to our Vip customers to, like, offer them some swag.

Dave [0:24:39]: Oh, does a skill.

Dave [0:24:40]: Just, call that and then send it.

Dave [0:24:42]: Right?

Corey [0:24:42]: Mh.

Corey [0:24:42]: Mh.

Corey [0:24:43]: Yeah.

Corey [0:24:43]: A hundred percent.

Corey [0:24:44]: Yeah.

Corey [0:24:45]: The skills are awesome because it gets saved on your computer locally.

Corey [0:24:47]: You can download my copywriting skill.

Corey [0:24:50]: For example, if you wanna, like, write, like, Corey Haines.

Corey [0:24:52]: But then if you wanna change it and make your own, all you have to do is edit it.

Corey [0:24:56]: And now it's your skill.

Corey [0:24:58]: You don't have to, like, upload it anywhere, you could re brand it re upload it, share it somewhere else.

Corey [0:25:04]: You don't have to necessarily.

Corey [0:25:06]: But they're completely workable and editable.

Corey [0:25:09]: So these are a ton of amazing starting points, and then you can make any of them your own.

Corey [0:25:15]: Let's just go through really briefly what It I went through.

Corey [0:25:17]: So I told it to do ten because, again, that helps us be able to see something faster.

Corey [0:25:21]: Each one of these programmatic pages is gonna be based off of a template, and we have this really nice Url structure is gonna name the Url, the target keyword, the estimated volume for it.

Corey [0:25:33]: And then it made these ten pages.

Corey [0:25:35]: It's gonna talk a little bit about, like, the strategy.

Corey [0:25:38]: Now we could dive into, like, what is in my programmatic SEO skill.

Corey [0:25:42]: The funny part is, like, I don't think anyone cares to be honest.

Corey [0:25:45]: No whenever freaking looks.

Corey [0:25:47]: Sometimes people are like, so how does it work?

Corey [0:25:50]: I'm, like, did you read it?

Corey [0:25:51]: It's just a markdown file.

Corey [0:25:52]: Yeah.

Corey [0:25:53]: It literally just made this right now.

Corey [0:25:55]: I didn't have this pre built before, and that's why it's scary to do this live, but it made this...

Corey [0:26:00]: We're on a slash templates index page And now I can go to each one of these pages.

Corey [0:26:05]: I have an actual order form template.

Corey [0:26:08]: We have a lot of text.

Corey [0:26:09]: We got an Faq.

Corey [0:26:10]: We've got a call to action.

Corey [0:26:12]: You can see that we've got a clean Url.

Corey [0:26:14]: These are pages.

Corey [0:26:15]: I can create thousands of these pages.

Corey [0:26:18]: Based off of real keyword data by one, getting data of for SEO, and then two, using the pro SEO skill, which is building these pages locally on my computer.

Corey [0:26:30]: This is all the next yes.

Corey [0:26:31]: I have this, again, this little form demo, repo because it looks nice and you don't have to start all this stuff from scratch.

Corey [0:26:38]: But this all is just getting built live right in front of me.

Dave [0:26:43]: It's amazing because there's a bunch of different use cases for just this one example that you showed, which is, like, you know, forever marketers have had to make lead magnets or multiple pages, and it's, like, you just created a hundred...

Dave [0:26:54]: Whatever.

Dave [0:26:54]: Even if it was ten, a hundred pages.

Dave [0:26:56]: I'm gonna click on each one.

Dave [0:26:57]: So this is a made up software company that their product is forms.

Dave [0:27:02]: I'm gonna go download...

Dave [0:27:04]: Yeah.

Dave [0:27:05]: Actually, no.

Dave [0:27:05]: I need this.

Dave [0:27:05]: I need an order form template.

Dave [0:27:07]: So I'm gonna go to Google or whatever.

Dave [0:27:08]: I'm gonna search research survey template.

Dave [0:27:10]: I'm gonna download this for free in order to do that.

Dave [0:27:12]: I gotta put my email address in and this took twenty minutes of if your work?

Dave [0:27:16]: What would this steps be from, like, okay.

Dave [0:27:18]: This is all good.

Dave [0:27:19]: I bless this is working.

Dave [0:27:20]: I actually wanna make this live on the site.

Dave [0:27:22]: How do we...

Dave [0:27:23]: I'm not a developer.

Dave [0:27:24]: How do you bridge that gap?

Dave [0:27:25]: Does it can you just press a button.

Corey [0:27:28]: Even better, you just tell Cloud make this live, push this to prod.

Dave [0:27:32]: Put this on my site.

Corey [0:27:33]: Yeah.

Corey [0:27:33]: No.

Corey [0:27:34]: Seriously.

Corey [0:27:34]: So Github is the central source of truth for anything that is code.

Corey [0:27:41]: It's actually for more than That can be text.

Corey [0:27:43]: It can be whatever.

Corey [0:27:43]: But at the end of the day, Github is usually the storage place the central source of truth for anything.

Corey [0:27:49]: So I would tell Cloud, I'm not gonna do it here.

Corey [0:27:51]: If I'm gonna tell Cloud push this to github and then sync with for sell, for example.

Corey [0:27:56]: For sale is a hosting platform for next js.

Corey [0:28:00]: It's gonna look at my Github that I just uploaded this too, and then it's gonna create all the pages that are synced with Github.

Corey [0:28:08]: Simple as that.

Dave [0:28:10]: A lot of people are listening, like, they're using Web flow or they're using Hubspot.

Dave [0:28:14]: Is there a way that this would connect there?

Corey [0:28:16]: Yeah.

Corey [0:28:16]: That's interesting because for one, so we've seen that on my agency, we used to do everything in web flow in a frame.

Corey [0:28:23]: And now we're only doing things in next js because it's just...

Corey [0:28:27]: Way way easier, way faster, way more scalable.

Corey [0:28:30]: It's totally possible.

Corey [0:28:31]: It's just...

Corey [0:28:33]: You're gonna be fighting it a little bit.

Corey [0:28:36]: So like, web flow, they have a Cms Api, For example.

Corey [0:28:40]: You can upload all this data via the Api and populate things in the Cms and then publish that to web flow.

Corey [0:28:47]: But you just still have to go in and, like, design the page and web flow.

Corey [0:28:50]: You have to make sure everything's populating correctly.

Corey [0:28:52]: You're still gonna be doing things fairly manually.

Corey [0:28:55]: Again, this is the totally jail broken version where all you have to do is tell Claude.

Dave [0:29:02]: It's interesting because, like, a bunch of people that listen or at it established company.

Dave [0:29:05]: They're not just gonna blow up the website and do this, but if I was starting a company now and you needed a website for it.

Dave [0:29:12]: This is absolutely where you would start.

Dave [0:29:14]: Is the future gonna be, like, you don't ever log to a web app again to, like, edit it.

Dave [0:29:18]: Am I ever gonna log in to, like, a landing page editor and, like, change the title of the landing page ever again?

Dave [0:29:23]: Am I just gonna do it here?

Corey [0:29:25]: I don't know.

Corey [0:29:25]: It's a good question.

Corey [0:29:26]: Like, a lot of these website builders.

Corey [0:29:28]: I think that they're trying to catch up and they're trying to build a lot of this agent stuff.

Corey [0:29:32]: So maybe in web flow in the future.

Corey [0:29:34]: You can talk to webb or whoever their cloud agent is in web flow, and it's building things in web flow just like we are now.

Corey [0:29:43]: And then you can also edit it on the page and like, a ways wait kind thing.

Corey [0:29:47]: But it's for sure not gonna be the way that it has been the last fifteen years or so.

Corey [0:29:53]: However, like, the modern website builder experiences like.

Corey [0:29:57]: And I think that's true for every marketing tool.

Corey [0:29:59]: I find myself being, like, Hey Claude.

Corey [0:30:01]: Upload my email newsletter that we just wrote together to kit.com.

Corey [0:30:06]: I don't wanna copy and paste it and like build that out.

Corey [0:30:08]: Hey, Claude.

Corey [0:30:09]: Go grab all the form data for the survey that I just sent to my customer and then do some analysis on it.

Corey [0:30:16]: I'm not gonna put it in a spreadsheet and like, look through it row by row.

Corey [0:30:19]: That's crazy.

Corey [0:30:20]: Take any marketing tool, and the main way that you're you're gonna interface through it is not through, like, clicking through the Ai.

Corey [0:30:28]: It's gonna be connect to Claude.

Corey [0:30:30]: And then Ask Claude and Claude becomes the driver.

Corey [0:30:34]: You're the c copilot like, constructing it, where to go, what to do.

Corey [0:30:37]: Have we seen those rally races where the driver is going, like, a zillion miles an hour and he's got like, mud on his face, and he's got this dude next in with this map and he's telling him the turns, like, okay.

Corey [0:30:49]: Thirty meters, five degrees left.

Corey [0:30:51]: Like, that is your job now.

Corey [0:30:53]: You are not the driver.

Dave [0:30:54]: Alright.

Dave [0:30:54]: So this...

Dave [0:30:55]: I think what's cool about this example if you're watching this on Youtube is this is he showed an SEO example, but it's not just applicable to SEO.

Dave [0:31:02]: It's, like, I need to make lead magnets.

Dave [0:31:03]: It's I need to make a bunch of pages for international markets.

Dave [0:31:07]: Different languages.

Dave [0:31:08]: There's so many use cases here.

Dave [0:31:10]: Free tools, free tools.

Dave [0:31:11]: Right?

Dave [0:31:12]: And then, eventually, I wanna have you show the Rev ops.

Dave [0:31:16]: I just saw you tweet out the Rev ops, like, Sla lead scoring thing.

Dave [0:31:20]: I want you to show some of that, but I just wanna put a bow in this one and just ask.

Dave [0:31:24]: Like, you build this, you implement it.

Dave [0:31:26]: Would you actually be able to also measure the performance of all?

Dave [0:31:30]: So, hey, We did this.

Dave [0:31:31]: Now it's been live for two weeks?

Dave [0:31:32]: Like...

Dave [0:31:32]: Because I think people wanna, like, I wanna close the loop on this?

Dave [0:31:35]: Like, I'm not just doing this because it's cool and I wanna, like show people I can use Cloud code.

Dave [0:31:39]: I wanna, like, rank for some of these keywords.

Corey [0:31:43]: Dude you you read my brain.

Corey [0:31:45]: That couldn't been the more perfect segue.

Corey [0:31:46]: Thank you for asking that because I wanted to show you this is a...

Corey [0:31:49]: An actually real use case on one of my Saas products.

Corey [0:31:53]: It's called t list.

Corey [0:31:54]: It's a email validation platform.

Corey [0:31:56]: I'm gonna show Plug myself here that if you need that, then go look up t list dot Io.

Corey [0:32:01]: Because I was just doing this.

Corey [0:32:03]: And I was like, oh, I should show Dave, because this could be a cool segue into, like, data data analysis.

Corey [0:32:09]: One of the things I talk about this on on my site here if, like, what agents are great at that chatbot bots are not.

Corey [0:32:16]: One of the things that agents are so freaking go to at is cross referencing data.

Corey [0:32:22]: Working with an insane amount of data, making sense the data, cross referencing different data sources.

Corey [0:32:27]: It's so incredibly good at that as marketers.

Corey [0:32:30]: I think that we're used to using our brains and our limited brain power to, like, switch between Google Analytics and Google Search console and then Google Ads and, like, try to make sense of everything just by intuition.

Corey [0:32:47]: That is crazy.

Corey [0:32:49]: You know, like, your brain is not meant to do that much math.

Corey [0:32:52]: What I did with T is I connected our Google Search console, our fathom analytics, and the keyword data for things that we wanna rank for?

Corey [0:33:02]: So, like, these are dumps from Hr ahrefs and for a data for SEO.

Corey [0:33:06]: And then it said, cross analyze all this.

Corey [0:33:09]: Please just make sense of it.

Corey [0:33:10]: I don't know what to do.

Corey [0:33:11]: I'm not a math whiz.

Corey [0:33:13]: I'm not a genius.

Corey [0:33:13]: And what it did was it took all these different points it builds a little bit of a the report for me.

Corey [0:33:19]: Right?

Corey [0:33:20]: So it's looking at all the different sources taking the raw data.

Corey [0:33:24]: And then now it's starting to make some some analysis.

Corey [0:33:27]: This means direct referral, social traffic is up or organic traffic might have softened slightly or dah dah.

Corey [0:33:34]: It's looking through each of the pages that are cross reference.

Corey [0:33:37]: So for this page, the homepage, these are your Google Search console clicks, these are your fathom clicks, this is the keyword volume for what you're trying for.

Corey [0:33:44]: That's not a good example.

Corey [0:33:46]: There's no...

Corey [0:33:46]: There's no one there.

Corey [0:33:47]: I can look through page by page, all the different data sources, see what's happening.

Corey [0:33:53]: This is the awesome part at the bottom.

Corey [0:33:55]: Right?

Corey [0:33:55]: Key takeaways.

Corey [0:33:56]: Again, we're talking about deliverables earlier.

Corey [0:33:58]: This is a deliverable from, like, an SEO God after three months.

Corey [0:34:04]: And it's like, hey, here's your five key takeaways.

Corey [0:34:06]: These ones are working really, really well.

Corey [0:34:09]: These ones are actually underperforming.

Corey [0:34:11]: We need to, like, fix these.

Corey [0:34:12]: There's a diversion here where now I'm starting to see differences in data.

Corey [0:34:16]: Okay.

Corey [0:34:16]: Cool.

Corey [0:34:17]: Google Search console says this one thing.

Corey [0:34:19]: Fathom says another thing.

Corey [0:34:20]: This is what it means.

Corey [0:34:22]: It means that direct referral traffic is growing.

Corey [0:34:24]: While our organic for visibility is actually going down a little bit.

Corey [0:34:27]: Now I can explain to you.

Corey [0:34:29]: There's the classic.

Corey [0:34:30]: Dude.

Corey [0:34:30]: I remember you saying this where you hate it when CEO It be like, dave, why are we seeing a dip in traffic this month.

Corey [0:34:38]: You're like, I don't freaking know.

Corey [0:34:40]: Why would you ask me that?

Dave [0:34:43]: I'm like, because it's July sixth.

Dave [0:34:44]: I don't know.

Corey [0:34:45]: Yeah.

Corey [0:34:45]: Yeah.

Corey [0:34:45]: Yeah.

Corey [0:34:46]: Right.

Corey [0:34:46]: Right.

Corey [0:34:46]: You're three days in the month and were, like, leads are a little slow.

Corey [0:34:49]: Can you investigate?

Corey [0:34:50]: Yeah.

Corey [0:34:51]: Two.

Corey [0:34:52]: Ai.

Corey [0:34:53]: Can actually answer these questions or at least it can attempt to.

Corey [0:34:55]: Right?

Corey [0:34:56]: But copy and paste this to the programmatic SEO stuff that we were just doing, where I can build out all those pages, and then it can tell Claude.

Corey [0:35:05]: Now do a weekly analysis.

Corey [0:35:07]: Claude made this thing called the routine.

Corey [0:35:09]: You can have it actually on a schedule a daily weekly monthly basis, run through a cross reference like this or check up on something, run run analysis, pull new keywords.

Corey [0:35:22]: Grab the latest data from Fathom analytics or whatever your data tool of choices.

Dave [0:35:27]: Yeah.

Dave [0:35:27]: I mean, this is what is...

Dave [0:35:29]: I think amazing about the use case of Ai in general.

Dave [0:35:32]: A world is coming.

Dave [0:35:33]: I mean, you're already in this world for us mortals we will get there.

Dave [0:35:37]: But, like, my dream has always been to be like, man, I don't ever wanna log in to Salesforce again, please.

Dave [0:35:43]: Yeah.

Dave [0:35:43]: And now it's like, if you have whatever you're using, let's just say Claude in this example, it's almost like step one.

Dave [0:35:50]: If you're, like, onboarding or something that's like, I'm gonna run everything.

Dave [0:35:53]: And now what you're same is...

Dave [0:35:55]: Everything for me now is voice, like, I'm using Whisper flow.

Dave [0:35:58]: I don't know whatever you're using, but it's just, like, it's so much faster.

Dave [0:36:00]: And actually feel this is a side note.

Dave [0:36:03]: The voice stuff actually makes me feel like more of a human.

Dave [0:36:05]: When I'm just sitting quietly in my office typing.

Dave [0:36:07]: And I'm talking the Ai.

Dave [0:36:09]: I feel like I, like, I'm allowed to be Dave a little bit and And I can pop off with my with my voice.

Corey [0:36:14]: Freestyle time.

Dave [0:36:14]: But, there's a world where, like, I'm gonna have...

Dave [0:36:16]: I should have all the marketing tools.

Dave [0:36:17]: Everything that I'm using to run the marketing, the business, everything pipe in here, and I can be, like, or leads down right now?

Dave [0:36:23]: Is this thing doing?

Dave [0:36:24]: Check this thing.

Dave [0:36:25]: How did...

Dave [0:36:25]: Did they email go out today?

Dave [0:36:26]: Instead of all those things ping in Slack or I gotta go log in to Hubspot, and then I got a too off and I get the text to my phone and I go back in, and I gotta click the emails tab and see the performance.

Dave [0:36:36]: I'm like, this the stuff at school that has me excited is Like, I got this command center for everything that's going on in our business.

Dave [0:36:42]: Now, you layer on all the customer context, customer calls transcript, sales data customer data product data.

Dave [0:36:48]: It's like, whoa.

Corey [0:36:50]: Yeah.

Corey [0:36:50]: Well, This sky's the limit, honestly.

Corey [0:36:53]: I feel like I'm still even scratching the surface.

Corey [0:36:56]: Some of it is because you can see I've have literally a brazilian things that I'm working on at any given time.

Corey [0:37:01]: I'm just constantly multitasking.

Corey [0:37:03]: But, yeah.

Corey [0:37:04]: The more tools that you connect, the more data you give it, the more access you give it to your information repository, your notion, your github or whatever, the better.

Dave [0:37:15]: Yeah.

Dave [0:37:15]: I wanna put two more examples on tape and then I wanna wrap up and ask you about, like, what does this mean?

Dave [0:37:20]: What should I be thinking about as a marker.

Dave [0:37:22]: And the two that I...

Dave [0:37:23]: If you could, I don't know if you have...

Dave [0:37:25]: So, no.

Dave [0:37:25]: You know, you have other examples if you want, But you posted on the other day that was this skill for creating social media content specifically, like, Linkedin and Instagram and Tiktok.

Corey [0:37:34]: If you're in my head, man.

Dave [0:37:35]: Well, I mean, it's crazy.

Dave [0:37:36]: I'm just...

Dave [0:37:36]: I know I'm...

Dave [0:37:37]: I follow you on Twitter.

Dave [0:37:39]: And then the other one is, I bookmark this one recently.

Dave [0:37:42]: I don't know when it was, but the one about, like, Rev ops, Sla and and all that stuff.

Dave [0:37:47]: And so...

Dave [0:37:47]: And then my main questions on each of them is, could you show me the output on them because I understand the skill.

Dave [0:37:53]: So you're gonna have a skill that writes social content based on certain things, but then it had anything like, Even but, how do you do that for Instagram or Tiktok?

Dave [0:38:00]: That's video content you have to go make or how do I actually go and implement this, like, Sla if I just get this markdown file about what my lead scoring should be?

Dave [0:38:09]: How do I go implement that and I feel like you can help me see how we'd close a loop on these things.

Corey [0:38:13]: Yeah.

Corey [0:38:13]: Yeah.

Corey [0:38:14]: The Rev ops one.

Corey [0:38:15]: I don't know if I could show in a demo.

Corey [0:38:17]: I can talk about a little bit and explain.

Dave [0:38:19]: I think this is one we're talking It works.

Dave [0:38:21]: It's...

Dave [0:38:21]: Yeah.

Dave [0:38:21]: Yeah.

Corey [0:38:22]: Yeah.

Corey [0:38:22]: Yeah.

Corey [0:38:22]: This is just one example.

Corey [0:38:24]: So I have a a skill called social content.

Corey [0:38:26]: It's got, like, platform specific guidelines ideas and templates, frameworks for different types of social content.

Corey [0:38:33]: This is what I've been playing around with a ton, especially for marketing skills is there's this open source library called rem motion.

Corey [0:38:41]: And it builds videos for you, all out of code.

Corey [0:38:45]: So it's types scripts code, and it all renders and animate into something that gets stitched together into a video.

Corey [0:38:52]: So this is what I created for the last release of marketing skills just that our day for one point seven, and I can show you how it works a little bit under the hood.

Corey [0:39:00]: I'm sure people have seen this if they actually saw, like, the announcement tweet.

Corey [0:39:04]: But Claude made this.

Corey [0:39:06]: I just wanna show you, like, yeah.

Corey [0:39:07]: Cool.

Corey [0:39:08]: I did not make this.

Corey [0:39:09]: I'm not a video editor whatsoever like, I'm literally handicapped when it comes to video things, and this was just look me telling Claude.

Corey [0:39:17]: Hey, use rem motion and make this video for me.

Dave [0:39:20]: You know, you showed me this, like, data for SEO rem motion?

Dave [0:39:23]: Is your brain just wired to, like, find tools that have connectors for you to be able to do this in cloud code as an example Or it about having Api or Mc or Yeah.

Corey [0:39:34]: This is, I think another one of the things that I have an advantage on because I've been coding to, where you realized that in this programming world, there's tons and tons and tons of free open source libraries and tools and resources.

Corey [0:39:48]: And so for one, B made a skill for finding skills.

Corey [0:39:53]: It's very, very meta.

Corey [0:39:55]: Right?

Corey [0:39:56]: But I could invoke the skill and be like, hey.

Corey [0:39:59]: I'm looking for a skill to help me make videos.

Corey [0:40:01]: Please do some research or or whatever.

Corey [0:40:03]: It'll go find some skill.

Corey [0:40:05]: Then the skill is a wrapper, a set of instructions around a set of tools or some kind of process.

Corey [0:40:13]: So rem motion is the tool and then rem promotion also has a skill.

Corey [0:40:17]: So rem motion best practices.

Corey [0:40:19]: This is by the team that built rem motion.

Corey [0:40:22]: You can see that's just a github link.

Corey [0:40:24]: That's where everything lives.

Corey [0:40:25]: And this is gonna be best practices for how to make a video using rem motion.

Corey [0:40:32]: So Claude might not know how to make a video worth rem motion, but with your emotion skill, it does.

Corey [0:40:38]: And anything else that you wanna do, if there's a skill that exists for it, everything gets installed, locally, it'll present the skills, and it's gonna search this database here with ninety thousand try to find things that are relevant to you.

Corey [0:40:51]: It's like we were talking about earlier figured it out, Ask Claude, Pay cloud.

Corey [0:40:55]: Are there any free libraries?

Corey [0:40:58]: Or skills for making videos.

Corey [0:41:01]: That's as simple as it is.

Corey [0:41:03]: Just go do some research, go find something.

Corey [0:41:05]: And if there isn't something, you could make something or maybe you could Jerry rig something together.

Corey [0:41:10]: But at the end of the day, let Claude do all the work for you and figuring that out.

Dave [0:41:15]: I mean, even just something like, just being able to use skills.

Dave [0:41:19]: Right?

Dave [0:41:19]: Like, from everywhere else, I have my own for, like, writing Youtube introductions, but now that I'm like, I'm on this skills dot s h site.

Dave [0:41:26]: I could be, like, I need a skill to write a Youtube intro for me.

Dave [0:41:31]: Can you plug that in, and it's just this thinking of being able to...

Dave [0:41:34]: And it's a hardship shift for a lot of non engineers actually, myself included, It's just, like, Mh.

Dave [0:41:39]: To let go and be like, well, I have to know how to create this video and it's like, no.

Dave [0:41:43]: Someone else does.

Dave [0:41:44]: They've already done it and there's best practice.

Dave [0:41:45]: Here's this tool rev motion and there's, like, best practices around it.

Dave [0:41:49]: It's probably gonna be better than whatever your view one is gonna be, like, Mh.

Corey [0:41:52]: Yeah.

Corey [0:41:52]: Exactly.

Corey [0:41:53]: Exactly.

Corey [0:41:53]: There's ones for emails too...

Corey [0:41:55]: It's funny popped up a little bit ser, but this is one of my my latest tools and building mag.

Corey [0:42:00]: It's basically cloud code for marketing in your browser for all the norm.

Corey [0:42:05]: So join the way wait list if you're interested.

Corey [0:42:07]: But these are emails that Claude created, I can view.

Corey [0:42:11]: I can edit them all here in the browser in this little local host view, which is just a file preview on my computer.

Corey [0:42:18]: And this is how I'm doing emails now.

Corey [0:42:20]: I'm like hey Claude.

Corey [0:42:21]: I need to make a wait in by email.

Corey [0:42:22]: Write it in react, and then show me so I can view it.

Corey [0:42:27]: Cool.

Corey [0:42:27]: Here's what the email look like.

Corey [0:42:28]: Great.

Corey [0:42:29]: Send.

Corey [0:42:31]: It's a totally different paradigm of me, like, clicking a thousand buttons to get this thing live.

Corey [0:42:37]: There's all sorts of cool.

Corey [0:42:39]: I mean, dude...

Corey [0:42:39]: Look, how cool this is.

Corey [0:42:40]: There's a whole video editor in my browser.

Corey [0:42:42]: And then anything I wanna change, I can tell it, like, hey, this up is pretty often where I'm like, it's going through the frames too fast.

Corey [0:42:50]: Give it an extra second or two in the beginning and the end to let it breathe a little bit.

Corey [0:42:54]: Great.

Corey [0:42:55]: I don't have to drag this out manually.

Corey [0:42:57]: I don't have to figure out the transitions.

Corey [0:43:00]: No.

Corey [0:43:00]: Now the fade in, a fade out is a little bit off.

Corey [0:43:02]: Cloud would do that for me.

Dave [0:43:04]: And you you already said it.

Dave [0:43:05]: You weren't recording in that moment.

Dave [0:43:06]: But if you had your voice prompt on, It's, like, that took one one second to edit that.

Corey [0:43:10]: Yeah.

Corey [0:43:10]: Yeah.

Corey [0:43:11]: I did it earlier.

Corey [0:43:11]: I mean, just...

Dave [0:43:13]: Okay.

Dave [0:43:13]: Quickly.

Dave [0:43:13]: Show me shift over Show me that...

Dave [0:43:14]: I just wanna see the the the Rev ops scorecard because I thought it's just very useful for for folks that are listening to this.

Corey [0:43:21]: This is a great way to put a cap on it too because I wanna talk about how to use skills and how to make the most skills in particular.

Corey [0:43:28]: So every skill is gonna be in a folder called skills.

Corey [0:43:32]: And then to go into each one of the skills, you have to find the skill.md.

Corey [0:43:38]: So here's my list of skills, I'm gonna go down here to Rev ops.

Corey [0:43:42]: It's gonna open up this folder, And again, within a skill file, it can just be marked down, But it's also folder to hold other things, like, now I have these things called eval, which is how I make sure that it's actually good and up to standard and that it works and I have references, references are templates, playbook, definitions, rules, scoring models.

Corey [0:44:05]: Anytime you make an update to your scoring model.

Corey [0:44:07]: Right Now your skills is updating as well.

Corey [0:44:09]: And then this is the skill itself.

Corey [0:44:11]: This top part is called front matter.

Corey [0:44:13]: This is how Claude knows what to reference why to reference it, when to reference it.

Corey [0:44:19]: But the end of the end of the day, it's just a markdown file.

Corey [0:44:22]: Markdown became the d facto file type for storing these kinds of prompts in Ai because it's a really small file size, but it's still, like, structured, organized data.

Corey [0:44:34]: You can see here that it has this really simple little hashtag for header one, two hashtags for header or two, number bullet points.

Corey [0:44:40]: These things for bold.

Corey [0:44:42]: Right?

Corey [0:44:42]: So that's the Ai scan through all the text really quickly without burning a brazilian tokens.

Corey [0:44:48]: The way that I've design the skills is for one, every one of these more tactical skills like Rev, for example, is told to first reference another skill?

Dave [0:44:59]: Wait.

Dave [0:44:59]: Sorry.

Dave [0:44:59]: Is is that a part of your Qa...

Dave [0:45:01]: Are you you have to Qa your skills to make sure that they're set up properly so they don't burn but, like, is that something that someone be like man, I'm not gonna use this because it burned too many tokens for someone else made a more efficient one.

Corey [0:45:11]: Maybe a little bit.

Corey [0:45:12]: It's more like the higher level stuff of, like, if I save this as a doc x, it would burn ten times more tokens compared to if it was just a .md instead.

Corey [0:45:21]: The markdown.

Corey [0:45:22]: Yeah.

Dave [0:45:23]: Sure.

Corey [0:45:24]: There are standards.

Corey [0:45:24]: Like, this is three hundred and forty five lines.

Corey [0:45:27]: Your skills are not supposed to be any more than five hundred lines of code.

Corey [0:45:31]: And in general, the smaller the better because your Ai is only gonna have so big of a context window.

Corey [0:45:38]: I think for cloud, the standard is, like, a hundred thousand tokens for your context window.

Corey [0:45:43]: So the more that you fill your context window with things like skills or other things that you wanted to, like, remember the less brain power it's gonna have for actually doing the thing that you're asking to do.

Corey [0:45:56]: So you just wanna make sure it's not bloated.

Corey [0:45:58]: That's like the biggest thing.

Corey [0:45:59]: But each one of the skill is gonna reference another skill called product marketing context, and that is where you save all of the important contextual information about your Ic, your pricing, your product differentiator, your x y, all the important things that you would need to tell it in order to have the right info about you and your business.

Corey [0:46:19]: And then it goes into core principles.

Corey [0:46:22]: So these are like, the high level.

Corey [0:46:25]: This is how we want to structure things for Rev, and then I give it a pre standard lead life cycle framework.

Corey [0:46:33]: Defining everything, Talk about lead scoring that I tell it about lead routing, pipeline stage management.

Corey [0:46:40]: This is all a bunch of text.

Corey [0:46:41]: But I'm giving it very specific instructions about how to do something because then I can say, use the Rev ops skill and here's access to my Hubspot.

Corey [0:46:50]: And now when it goes into your hubspot, it's looking at your hubspot with these frameworks and instructions and prompts in mind.

Corey [0:46:58]: So it knows what to see.

Corey [0:46:59]: It's gonna go and look.

Corey [0:47:00]: You can ask go do an audit of my Hubspot.

Corey [0:47:02]: And then it's gonna go through and be like, okay.

Corey [0:47:04]: Let's look at all your pipeline stages.

Corey [0:47:06]: Let's look at if you have any lead scoring today.

Corey [0:47:09]: No.

Corey [0:47:10]: You don't.

Corey [0:47:10]: Okay.

Corey [0:47:10]: Cool.

Corey [0:47:10]: We can build that out free in Hubspot.

Corey [0:47:12]: And then it can either tell you what to do in Hubspot.

Corey [0:47:15]: Or if it has enough access it can do it in have hubspot for you.

Dave [0:47:19]: Does that work today?

Dave [0:47:20]: Has anybody tried that?

Corey [0:47:22]: Yeah.

Corey [0:47:22]: Yeah.

Corey [0:47:22]: Quite a few people have, Like again, it depends so much on how much access you have your own tools or how much access those tools give to Ai, but one hundred percent it works.

Corey [0:47:34]: There's also these things here, maybe one more point just to clarify is that there's a tools registry.

Corey [0:47:40]: So there's a lot of tools that even if you give Claude your Api key, it still is gonna have no idea how to use that Api because every Api is designed to work a little bit differently.

Corey [0:47:52]: So within the tools, I've also built out a ton of integrations, and and Cli.

Corey [0:47:59]: So that...

Corey [0:48:01]: Now anytime that you're telling it to work with Hubspot, it can reference this tool skill for Hubspot, and it knows what Hubspot makes available between Api and Mc, Cli, S sdk, how it authenticate the common operations for using the Api, and now it knows how to do things in in each one of these tools.

Corey [0:48:21]: This is an actual script for doing something in instantly.

Corey [0:48:26]: It's not like, just ping the Api.

Corey [0:48:29]: This is a little mini app interfacing with another tool instantly in order to do something with its Api.

Corey [0:48:35]: So I'm I'm trying to like, build everything out to be as off the shelf as possible.

Corey [0:48:41]: So you don't have to figure this out because What I was doing before is it was like, I don't know how to work with the hubspot Api.

Corey [0:48:47]: I'm gonna have to figure that out, and then it would try and fail, try and fail try and fail, try and fail.

Corey [0:48:52]: So all the things that I found that it actually got to work.

Corey [0:48:55]: I turned into a skill saved here in the repo.

Corey [0:48:59]: And now when you use it, it hopefully works out of the box with limited errors.

Dave [0:49:05]: So what what do we do?

Dave [0:49:06]: What's the role...

Dave [0:49:07]: What what what role does marketing?

Dave [0:49:09]: What did marketers do in this in this world where we we have access to running...

Dave [0:49:14]: I mean, we've come so far in two years from, like, twenty twenty three, you had an advantage if you were using Chat to, like, write landing page copy.

Dave [0:49:22]: Now the stuff you showed.

Dave [0:49:24]: And there's a thousand examples I wanted to have Corey on to just give you a glimpse of, like, The point of this is not to be like, I'm gonna go take that SEO example and do it, but I think to see these two or three examples, my goal for having you on was to open people's minds to being like, Damn, I'm not even thinking about things on the same planet.

Dave [0:49:42]: This is such a different way.

Dave [0:49:43]: Of thinking, and it is really interesting because it's it is like, applying the way an engineer thinks to marketing.

Dave [0:49:51]: Engineers are the craziest people I know, always.

Dave [0:49:55]: And that's why they're super smart.

Dave [0:49:57]: Because it's, like, I'm gonna figure out the best way to do this.

Dave [0:50:00]: And so if you look at how I might do some is it's like, I'm gonna log in this tool We'll do this thing and you're, like, hold on, wait.

Dave [0:50:05]: What...

Dave [0:50:05]: What?

Dave [0:50:05]: And it's really interesting to see that the future of marketing is headed in this direction.

Dave [0:50:09]: Can you make the bold case from an opt, And I wanna leave people with this?

Dave [0:50:13]: You make the bold case for marketed to people who work in marketing and a career in marketing with access to all this.

Dave [0:50:18]: I think it's very easy to be like, software's dead.

Dave [0:50:20]: Everything's gonna be replaced all gonna be Ai.

Dave [0:50:23]: We're not gonna have jobs.

Dave [0:50:24]: I don't wanna take that case.

Dave [0:50:25]: I wanna make the bull case for it, and I'm hoping I...

Dave [0:50:27]: You have a good point of view here.

Corey [0:50:29]: I'm totally an opt.

Corey [0:50:29]: I'm not a Ai boomer whatsoever.

Corey [0:50:32]: Okay.

Corey [0:50:33]: So here's how I think about it.

Corey [0:50:35]: This is really funny timing too.

Corey [0:50:36]: It's because I'm watching that man.

Corey [0:50:38]: Right now have you've seen it before?

Dave [0:50:40]: Of course.

Corey [0:50:41]: Okay.

Corey [0:50:41]: Of course.

Corey [0:50:42]: I'm just watching it for the first time.

Corey [0:50:43]: I'm, like, I'm way behind in that aspect.

Corey [0:50:45]: Good for you.

Dave [0:50:46]: I love, man.

Dave [0:50:47]: Is there a better feeling and then when you have like, a good show and it's a classic you're watching it right now?

Corey [0:50:53]: And then you have the software awareness and it's to be like, oh, I'm I'm watching something that I love, and that's gonna be burning in my brain forever now.

Corey [0:50:59]: Man, it's so so interesting watching Mad because, of course, it's fictional.

Corey [0:51:04]: It's just like a depiction of what it was like.

Dave [0:51:07]: Well, what Don do with Claude.

Dave [0:51:08]: Oh my god.

Corey [0:51:10]: Exactly.

Corey [0:51:10]: Exactly.

Corey [0:51:10]: But it was so funny because I'm watching these guys work, and you've got Don Draper.

Corey [0:51:15]: He's a creative director.

Corey [0:51:16]: And he comes up with an idea in his head.

Corey [0:51:19]: And then he's like, hey, Peggy.

Corey [0:51:20]: Copywriter.

Corey [0:51:21]: Make a tagline.

Corey [0:51:22]: And then he's like, hey, whoever, Bob, whatever, art director.

Corey [0:51:26]: Now put it on a poster.

Corey [0:51:28]: And then they spent weeks, you know, manually writing ideas down.

Corey [0:51:31]: They put it on this poster mock up thing.

Corey [0:51:33]: They show it to the client and they kind of build this whole story and narrative around here's why this is gonna resonate with their customers and da.

Corey [0:51:41]: And, like, that was such a manual labor intensive process compared to today.

Corey [0:51:48]: And and what I mean today, I don't mean even with Ai.

Corey [0:51:50]: We're doing things on the computer.

Corey [0:51:52]: We're typing in a document.

Corey [0:51:54]: We're looking up and using templates, and we're filling the blanks.

Corey [0:51:58]: It's so much easier.

Corey [0:51:59]: Now we're using with Ai.

Corey [0:52:01]: I think with Ai, we're gonna look back on doing things in Google Docs the same way that we look back on Don Draper and Peggy, doing things some pen and paper on in a poster.

Dave [0:52:11]: Probably good take.

Dave [0:52:12]: Good take.

Dave [0:52:13]: Okay.

Dave [0:52:13]: I'm with you.

Corey [0:52:14]: So here's my punchline.

Corey [0:52:15]: The good news is that we can be creative directors.

Corey [0:52:18]: Even more so than we were before.

Corey [0:52:21]: We don't have to be the type is who are writing everything down the that Don draper says, We don't have to wait for someone else did you go do a job and get back to us so we can put in our part.

Corey [0:52:33]: And, okay.

Corey [0:52:34]: I got the tagline.

Corey [0:52:35]: Now we give it to Bob and art, and now Bob gets back to me and then we go back and forth at brazilian times.

Corey [0:52:39]: Claude is the full tool that Can say Claude, and it's really just any Ai agent.

Corey [0:52:45]: It's the full team that you need across copy across design across any one of the mediums?

Corey [0:52:52]: Is it static?

Corey [0:52:54]: Is it a website?

Corey [0:52:54]: Is it an email?

Corey [0:52:55]: Is it a a video?

Corey [0:52:57]: Is it a poster?

Corey [0:52:57]: Is it an ad?

Corey [0:52:59]: And we can spend all of our time just being creative and not doing any of the monkey work.

Corey [0:53:06]: I think that that's awesome.

Corey [0:53:07]: I think that's a really fun future.

Corey [0:53:09]: We're always talking about as marketers is like, what you should be doing is you should be experimenting and Don't just create one ad, create a thousand demonstrations of ad.

Corey [0:53:18]: I don't know about you.

Corey [0:53:20]: I've never really been able to get to that spot because I was so bogged down in the day to day and my n show of, like, let me pull this report and let me put together this slide deck show the board that.

Corey [0:53:30]: And let me sync with the team and talk about how we're gonna triage you.

Corey [0:53:35]: All I get to do now is do creative marketing.

Corey [0:53:38]: I think that's awesome.

Dave [0:53:40]: I think it's awesome too.

Dave [0:53:41]: And the thing I've been saying a lot is, like, I got promoted to CMO because I was good at marketing.

Dave [0:53:46]: And you're good at marketing and so you get the team and the budget and the responsibility, and then it turns out most of my day is, like, I gotta go I gotta jump up this.

Dave [0:53:54]: I gotta I got a one on one so So I was fighting with this person or the this person wants a raise and I like, dude, I just I just like writing landing page copy.

Dave [0:54:02]: What am I what are we doing?

Dave [0:54:03]: You know?

Dave [0:54:04]: So...

Dave [0:54:05]: Alright.

Dave [0:54:06]: Good take.

Dave [0:54:06]: I love that.

Dave [0:54:07]: My favorite scene in mad men and that that you didn't ask for.

Dave [0:54:10]: I mean, there's many one clip that I referenced often is there's a there's a scene where Peggy, Dawn is yelling at Peggy, and she's like, you never tell me I'm doing a good job.

Dave [0:54:20]: You never tell me you like my work and Dawn goes.

Dave [0:54:22]: That's what the money's is for.

Dave [0:54:24]: And I god I love that.

Dave [0:54:25]: Yeah.

Dave [0:54:26]: Love that.

Dave [0:54:27]: It's never.

Dave [0:54:28]: That was a good one.

Dave [0:54:29]: Never enough.

Dave [0:54:29]: That's what the money's for it.

Dave [0:54:30]: What we pay you for.

Dave [0:54:31]: Yeah.

Dave [0:54:32]: And then I'd love the Don, for example, the other thing it made me think of.

Dave [0:54:36]: Do you know what those guys all used to do is voice dictation.

Dave [0:54:40]: They would dictate an idea or a memo.

Dave [0:54:43]: Now I'm on the pod with Corey Haines, marketing skills.com marketing dash skills.com.

Dave [0:54:48]: And he's just talking to his computer the whole time.

Dave [0:54:51]: You know?

Dave [0:54:51]: I don't know if this is...

Dave [0:54:52]: This is one of those, like Linkedin badges or spotify wrap where you're out, everyone's in the top one percent, but I'm in the top one percent of all whisper flow users, but I also haven't met someone who's not.

Dave [0:55:02]: So I don't know what to tell you.

Corey [0:55:05]: Interesting.

Corey [0:55:05]: Yeah.

Corey [0:55:05]: It's a gimmick.

Corey [0:55:06]: There to plan you just to get the social share

Dave [0:55:09]: for sure.
