O TYM ODCINKU
The 2026 summer transfer window is officially in the books — so how did Beşiktaş do?
Kaan Bayazit and Ural Alhan sit down to take an in-depth look at Beşiktaş's 2026/27 summer transfer window, with the club bringing in 10* new first-team players ranging from established stars to some of Europe's most intriguing young talents.
From major additions such as Dušan Vlahović, Leandro Trossard, Salih Özcan and Alexander Nübel to exciting youngsters including İlhan Fakılı, Ernest Poku, Fabio Miretti and Kassoum Ouattara, we break down every major arrival and ask the most important question:
Do these players actually fit the puzzle under Vincenzo Italiano?
We also take a comprehensive look at the departures from Beşiktaş, as the club appears to have undergone another major squad cleanout. Is this finally the end of the cycle of mass squad turnover — and can Beşiktaş now build some genuine continuity?
But perhaps the most important arrival of the summer wasn't a player at all.
We discuss the arrival of new Beşiktaş head coach Vincenzo Italiano and why his appointment could ultimately prove to be the most important "transfer" of the entire summer. In a remarkably short period of time, Italiano has already begun transforming Beşiktaş both on and off the pitch.
We also examine the increasingly important tandem of Önder Özen and Eduard Graf, their influence on Beşiktaş's recruitment and sporting structure, and whether president Serdal Adalı is finally taking the club in the direction he promised during his election campaign.
