705. Focus on Self which is Pure Silence - Non Duality Meditation

10th Aug 2026

In this Satsang, Sanjay delivered a comprehensive teaching on the spiritual path of self-realization, drawing from Mandukya Upanishad and Bhagavan Ramana's teachings. He explained that the ultimate reality is the "fourth state" (Turiya) - an unconditioned consciousness that is neither subjective nor objective, but awareness itself. Sanjay emphasized that true knowledge of self requires both effort and grace, clarifying that grace is not merely external devotion but includes the profound inner effort of seeking truth. He discussed the importance of combining both knowledge (Gyan Marga) and devotion (Bhakti Marga) in this unique path, noting that silence is the primary technique where one turns inward to observe the nature of thoughts and ultimately discovers the underlying silence that is one's true nature. Sanjay warned against casual approaches to spiritual practice, stressing that serious seekers must maintain alertness and dedication, as the path requires consistent inner work to remove ignorance and reveal the natural state of peace and bliss that is always present within.
