O TYM ODCINKU
A year ago, leaving the UK felt extraordinary. Every flight, every apartment, every decision carried a sense that we were doing something completely outside the ordinary. But somewhere along the way, something changed. The life we spent years planning has quietly become... normal.
This week I reflect on what happens when the adventure stops feeling like an adventure. House sitting, airports, finding supermarkets, living without a salary, building income from different places and waking up without a job to go to have all become part of everyday life. The uncertainty hasn't disappeared, but it no longer feels unfamiliar.
The strange thing about chasing freedom is that, eventually, it becomes your baseline. The challenge is no longer escaping the old life. It's recognising the one you've already built before you invent another mountain to climb.
