O TYM ODCINKU
Hey kids, we're back with a new episode. After a nice long check-in, we jump into the Bottom 5 stories of the week. (Well, last week. We'll get to the Oscars and that infamous slap in our next episode). We're talking Ukraine, Prince Philip, Covid Year 3 and of course, Drag Queens. Then we jump into this week's Pop Culture Moment, the HBO series The Gilded Age. What did we love? (The costumes) What did we hate? (The plot). And we answer the question, how many Tony nominees can you fit in one HBO period piece? That takes us into a Deep Dive on the nature of courtship, monogamy, and how two ethical non-monogamists navigate the tricky world of heteronormativity. And as always, we end with our ConsQUEERacies: Randy tries to make a connection between confirmation hearings and witch trials, and Jordan wonders what's really going on with these Senators and their obsession with destroying a Black woman's reputation. The truth is here. The truth is queer. And she is reclaiming her time.
