O TYM ODCINKU
The Michigan Wolverines face a quarterback controversy as Eric Weddle claims Bryce Underwood could be benched despite his $12 million NIL deal and five-star recruit status. Is backup Tommy Carr poised to seize the spotlight? Craig Shemon breaks down Weddle’s explosive comments, evaluating Underwood’s ongoing struggles with footwork, accuracy, and in-game growth during Michigan’s spring practices.
Key topics include Underwood’s pressure to perform after a shaky freshman season, how coaching changes under Kyle Whittingham might affect his trajectory, and the growing buzz around freshman QB Tommy Carr—grandson of Lloyd Carr. Shemon also looks at Michigan’s quarterback depth chart, the impact of NIL expectations, and the Wolverines’ pivotal matchups against Western Michigan and Oklahoma. Will Michigan’s prized recruit rise to the challenge, or is a changing of the guard at QB inevitable? Tune into Locked on Big Ten as we are your number one brand for all things Big Ten football!
