O TYM ODCINKU
Sponsored by www.warriorseedcompany.com - bringing you military grade wildflowers. Join the fight against boring landscapes, protect the environment, and help bring healing to Veterans.
Kristy Andrews joins me to discuss HBOT for Heroes, a nonprofit providing hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to veterans with TBI and PTSD. Kristy Andrews detailed the positive impacts of HBOT, including measured improvements in cognitive function and reductions in suicidal ideation among Veterans treated at their partner clinic in N.C. We discussed the varying state-level access to HBOT, the costs and logistics of the 40-treatment program, and the potential long-term benefits of HBOT on brain health and overall well-being.
