O TYM ODCINKU
Chris, Jonathan, and Franco mark the Help Me Watch podcast’s third-year anniversary, announce a new intro and plans for video highlights on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, and discuss Chris’s Prime Day pickups (classic Mario and Sonic cartoons, Zelda animated series, and Rad on Blu-ray). Chris gives quick reviews of Resident Alien’s final season, Netflix’s True Haunting, the latest season of Foundation, and Apple TV’s Widow’s Bay, plus an extended discussion of Supergirl’s heavier tone, marketing, and online “woke” controversy. They cover news including Netflix canceling further seasons of The Burrows, ongoing Stranger Things “Conformity Gate” chatter, Sony/PlayStation removing access to over 550 StudioCanal digital titles, and rumors about PlayStation ending physical media. They note deaths of Daveigh Chase and Clive Davis, list upcoming home-video releases, then spend most of the episode criticizing and scoring Madame Web (around 40–70) while mocking its plot, performances, ADR, and production choices, and tease next reviews: The Book of Eli and The Birds.
