Weekend Conversations: Building Rapport

On today's episode of Weekend Conversations on the Elevate Podcast, host Robert Glazer and Joey Coleman discuss building rapport, using Robert's experience trying to retrieve a delayed laptop delivery from a UPS distribution center as the jumping-off point. They talk about the difference between showing up as a complaint versus showing up as a person, why leading with kindness often opens doors that policy alone won't, and why you have to be willing to ask for help to ever get it. They also touch on why patience and persistence don't guarantee a yes, but rapport gives people a reason to want to help you anyway.
