O TYM ODCINKU
Gustav and Johan are back after the summer break with a look at what's new in 10.0.49. They kick off in finance, where a new preview lets users review and approve automatic bank reconciliation matching results before posting — a welcome way to validate matching rules before trusting them fully.
Electronic reporting takes centre stage this episode. Most notably, France's mandatory e-invoicing and e-reporting requirements are now supported, with the France e-reporting capability available from Finance version 10.0.49 — timely for anyone running French legal entities ahead of enforcement. The hosts also highlight two smaller but handy ER additions: new DIV and MOD functions in the ER formula language for integer division and remainder operations, and memory optimizations that reduce peak usage during large ER report executions.
On the platform side, Batch job occurrence telemetry adds job-level visibility in Application Insights on top of existing task-level signals, available behind a flight key. Johan also flags a new composite entity for inbound Advanced Shipment Notices, the retirement of Visual Studio 2022 for X++ development in favor of VS 2026, and progress on commerce deployment via PPAC. The episode closes with two notable deprecations: Microsoft will stop supporting the Regression Suite Automation Tool (RSAT) after May 15, 2027, and the Copilot sidecar is being retired in favor of newer agentic integrations. A revamped Supplier Engagement portal, currently in public preview, rounds things out.
