O TYM ODCINKU
What happens when a scientist, executive coach, and community-builder starts talking about trees, leadership, delegation, and money mindset? A whole lot of truth.
In this episode, Bonnie sits down with Dr. Violeta Garcia, founder of Ecosistema Design LLC, to talk about what it really takes to build support into your business in a way that makes sense. Dr. Garcia shares how her path from teacher to scientist to CEO to executive coach shaped the way she now helps women of color step into senior leadership with confidence, clarity, and belonging.
Together, Bonnie and Dr. Garcia dig into the lessons nature can teach us about business growth, why strong roots matter before you start handing things off, the costly mistake of delegating too soon or too vaguely, and how money mindset plays a bigger role in delegation than many business owners realize.
This conversation is full of practical wisdom for entrepreneurs, leaders, and service providers who want to grow with more intention, better systems, and a little less white-knuckling.
What you’ll hear in this episode:
- Why your business needs strong roots before you delegate the branches
- What Dr. Garcia’s “$60,000 lesson” taught her about hiring support
- How to think about delegation through the lens of systems and strategy
- Why communication gaps often sit at the heart of delegation issues
- How to stop operating from scarcity and start planning for support
- What nature, trees, and ecosystems can teach us about sustainable growth
