Traditional rule-based resource allocation and siloed sensing frameworks are hitting their physical limits. Discover how spatial intelligence and generative world models allow next-generation networks to perceive, reason, and dynamically optimize radio environments in real time. In this podcast, Professor Aryan Kaushik and Professor Jun Zhang from HKUST university discuss a number of exciting topics including moving from deep learning overlays to AI-native physical layers, Spatial AI and semantic awareness in complex radio environments, the role of foundation models and multimodal agents in network orchestration and benchmarking the future of 6G automation. Enjoy this excellent discussion between Professors Kaushik and Zhang.
