ChristCentered Coaches: Everybody loves a good story. And that's why we are going to do a whole series for you that it's all about some of the best stories that we have heard here on our Christ centered coaches channel. We love talking about Christ, testifying about Christ, and meeting other people who are doing the same online. So sometimes we're going to have some episodes where you get the whole thing, but this that we're bringing to you here is some of our favorite stories from our last year of recordings. I hope you enjoy learning a bit from these stories about Jesus Christ.
Lauren Rose: God just had other plans for me and like reflecting on things, I was like, I can kind of see now certain things happening where God was like kind of planting these little seeds for me to like go on my own and do my own podcast. Because I love, I do love comeback stories, but I am always more interested in finding like a topic and getting into a specific topic. I find that my brain is just more drawn to those type of things. And I always wanted to do stuff like that. there was one day I was driving my girls and in the morning and I remember praying and I was just like, Heavenly Father, if you really want me to start another podcast, I will do this, but I need. an answer from you. it needs to be something that I cannot ignore. Like, it has to be like an undeniable answer. And I don't usually just demand things from God. Like, that's that it just came out that way. So that was like at nine in the morning when I said that prayer. And then at about 3 p.m. that same day, I was like getting my haircut and I get this text message. I wrote it down for to read it because it was a miracle and it was from a number I didn't have saved and it says, hello, Sister Rose. This is the sister missionaries in your stake, Sister Yasso and T. And mind you, I have no idea who these people are. I have never met them in my entire life. And they say, we wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you and that we prayed for you by name today. However your week is going, we hope you always feel God's love for you. This week, we would love to encourage you to think of ways to share the gospel in any way you feel prompted to this week. We know that as you pray for these opportunities, your heavenly father will bless you with chances to share the light of Christ. you will be able to bring more joy into your life and the lives of those around you. Yeah, right? I know. I just... Yeah.
ChristCentered Coaches: Wow. Wow. just side note, have you got to meet those sisters since? Wow.
Lauren Rose: No, I was actually hoping that I would, but I never did. Yeah.
ChristCentered Coaches: my goodness. well, someday you're gonna find them, right? Wow. Wow. Heavenly Father wants you to be doing this Be Faithful podcast. I mean, he gave you the answer. That is so beautiful. So beautiful.
Lauren Rose: Yeah. Yeah, no, I started to just cry in my, in my chair. I was like, it was just, it was so bold that it was like, is this really happening? You know, like, sometimes when things like this happen, I'm like, is this real? Like it almost, hard to wrap your mind around like how God is like so much closer than we ever imagined that he is, you know?
ChristCentered Coaches: Yeah.
Lauren Rose: Especially, know at that time I can't say like I was so close to God like I was sad I was upset but that like really helped motivate me and lift my spirits and anytime I start to feel discouraged about You know continuing with be faithful because it's hard, you know, I mean, you know, it is a lot of work it's a lot of time and The skill set I don't have is like sales and like marketing that is not I am an accountant I do business like but sales and marketing have never been something that I've had to do. And so I'm learning and it's frustrating. And I've also got my plate full with my family and trying to find time to take care of myself too. So it's a lot, it is a lot, but I love it though. And that's why I keep going because I genuinely love these opportunities to testify of Jesus Christ and of that there is a God and So yeah, just, I don't know. Yeah, I just keep going and that helps to motivate me. And then another little thing, prompting that came from Heavenly Father is when I was thinking of the name for Be Faithful, I had no idea what I was gonna name it. And a friend of mine had sent me a scripture that I didn't read. And I can't remember why he sent it to me, but it was like within our conversation. And he's like, this is actually one of my favorite scriptures. And so I had this thought, was like, go read that scripture. And so I went back and it's D and C 81 verse five. And it says, wherefore, be faithful, stand in the office which I have appointed unto you, succor the weak, lift up the hands which hang down and strengthen the feeble knees. And as soon as I read those words, be faithful, it was like a light bulb in my head, know, and it was like, that's it, that's the name. And. But first I felt kind of weird about it, but now I'm like, gosh, that's a brilliant name. I would have never come up with that. I think it's great.
ChristCentered Coaches: It is so beautiful and I love how you said that Heavenly Father is just so good and he's so much closer than we think. He wants to be in these details of our lives if we will let him in.
