O TYM ODCINKU
Today we explore the debt disaster making its way through Congress and its ramifications. The bond market is showing us what they think of it as we had a terrible 20 year bond auction this week. Meanwhile, the revenue generator in chief just got his first tariff check and its 50% short of the goal. Perhaps this caused Trump's twitter meltdown Friday morning, with 50% tariffs on the EU and 25% tariffs on smartphone manufacturers unless they build phones here in America. Scott Bessent, just had his weekend ruined and had to go on tv and make the peace. Elon Musk, is slinking away from Doge and saying that it is up to Congress to make fiscal changes. Thanks, we knew that. We also know that consumers are having a hard time paying their bills and it seems that includes their buy no pay later bills.
