O TYM ODCINKU
In one of his favourite and probably most important episodes, Michael uses the video essay "How Fight Club Turns Men into Space Monkeys" by the YouTube channel "Like Stories of Old", to discuss how it parallels the dynamics of dominance and submission, particularly the appeal of the "unconflicted" alpha figure. Michael reflects on human instincts around hierarchy, the yearning for role models, and how individuals surrender their individuality in the pursuit of symbolic immortality. He emphasises the importance of critically examining the motivations behind following dominant figures and how these connections offer a sense of meaning and escape from existential fears.
