Hello again everybody. Thanks so much for tuning in to this Baseball Classics Diamondcast. Always great to be with you and, as you know, we cover any topic on this Diamondcast from 1901 to present, regarding Major League Baseball. But today this is going to be about you. We're going to flip the script and it's going to be about you as a Major League Baseball fan and how you can have a much better experience of staying on the pulse of what's happening inside Major League Baseball every day, any time that you want it inside Major League Baseball, every day, any time that you want it. So, of course, today, in today's world with the internet, there's all kinds of sites out there and places you can get information on what's happening in Major League Baseball. The challenge is that you cannot find it all in one place, and I guarantee you cannot, because we have looked for a long time and we cannot find it in one place. It's scattered all over the internet, us that's happening in Major League Baseball, one website and that's what we call Baseball Classics Real-Time Diamond View, and we decided to make it a free service. So it's a free, all-in-one service, and I'll tell you what we mean by all-in-one Every single day. So updates, fresh content every single day, and I can tell you that is not happening. Even on some of the big-name websites, some of their websites. I see the same stuff every single day, not fresh stuff every single day, and, as a Major League Baseball fan myself, I would want to know what the latest is and see fresh content every day. That's what Baseball Classics Real Time Diamond View is all about and why it's called Realtime. So, as a Major League Baseball fan, we thought this would be very valuable for you.
Speaker 2:
2:30
Now here's just to step back for a moment and give you a little perspective of how we're doing this, why we're doing this that Baseball Classics is a board game that I founded and started selling in 1987. Game that I founded and started selling in 1987. And to date we have probably again we create Major League Baseball, a Major League Baseball board game that has any teams and seasons from 1901 to present. That's been our thing from the very beginning and it's nearly impossible today to find that in a baseball board game. You could probably find it, maybe somewhere, but we've been known to do this longer than anybody Any teams, any seasons, 1901 to present. So, anyway, the reason I'm bringing that up is we've, of course, in order to be able to provide that for our customers, major League Baseball board game fans, we've had to collect all the data from 1901 to present all the stats, all the players, all the teams. So we have all that and we call that diamond data. So we have offered diamond data to our DiamondLink members from 1901 to present. They could sort it, filter it, so on and so forth. We took the 2024 season version of diamond data and now we've offered that free for Major League Baseball fans, so you can sort it, filter it as well, and group it and search through it and all that good stuff. The thing is now is that we've included the lefty-righty stats in their all-in-one database. Again, you can't find this anywhere for free. We're the only ones to do this. We're the first ones to do this Lefty righty player stats and the overall stats, including some team stats in there as well, free In this free service we call Baseball Classics Real-Time Diamond View.
Speaker 2:
4:17
So we're collecting all of the stats and again, there's dozens of stats and we're using all these stats, of course, to generate what we call our next generation real-time baseball game cards. That is called Legends of the Diamond, so that's called Legends on the Diamond, but that's a whole other episode for another day at some point about the baseball board game called Legends on the Diamond. The main point is that I want to make is that we're collecting all of this stuff. We also have been writing Baseball Classics Magazine for quite some time, so we're researching just about every day topics ranging from 1901 to present. That's what Baseball Classics Magazine has, just like the board game has 1901 to present. So Baseball Classics Magazine has been free as well. Another service that we offer. It's a free magazine.
Speaker 2:
5:10
So also we have, of course now we've rejuvenated Baseball Classics, this podcast we call Diamondcast, so that covers any topic from 1901 to present. And so we have let's kind of recap real quick the board game covering. You know we offer every team to be able to play again based on the major league stats, totally realistic. We've again are the only company to simulate the last six world series before they were played and nailed it every single year who the world champion is going to be. So we have Baseball Classics Legends on the Diamond game, any teams or seasons from 1901 to present for our customers to buy. So we have the board game, we have the Diamond data, now 1901 to present Again, our Diamond Link members Baseball Classics Diamond Link they get access to all that data they can sort and filter through. So that's the 1901 to Present. We have Baseball Classics Magazine, which is free Again, 1901 to Present. Then we have our blog called Diamond Buzz. That's our blog. That's just covering present-day topics only.
Speaker 2:
6:20
So you can imagine, at Baseball Classics, as a baseball company, we are generating a tremendous volume of content every single day. When you include now this real-time Diamond View service that we offer to give you all the latest and greatest in one website every single day, I guarantee because we've been looking for it you won't find this anywhere else to have all of this information curated for you simply in one website. So I want to walk you through what you get Again. The key here is that it's free and there's no login, so it's simple to get to. I mean, if you get to mlbcom, you can get to this, and when you see the information that we have in here, compare it to MLBcom, compare it to the other ones out there and you'll see we have more than anybody else, but it's very simple to consume. We knew that was going to be a key here, to make it simple for you to be able to navigate through, find what you're looking for and then move on with your day. But this keeps you on the pulse without taking up a lot of your time.
Speaker 2:
7:32
So, within Baseball Classics Real-Time Diamond View, which you can get to anytime again, no login baseballclassicscom slash diamond view, you get rumors, news, trades, free agency, uh tracking, transactions and so much more, which I'm going to walk you through in just a moment. But anyway, it's all there for you. Plus, we update things. We have scrolling headlines that go uh on the uh. Within diamond real-time diamond view as well. And then during the baseball season, we also are scrolling the scores, the schedules for the teams. Again, we have the standings and all that good stuff as well during the regular season. But let's walk you through what's in there today and I think you'll be very surprised at all of the activity that's taking place every single day.
Speaker 2:
8:21
So just because you're only hearing about a free agent signing like a big Blake Snell signing once in a while, there's things going on every single day in Major League Baseball. Thanksgiving Day it's going to happen on Christmas Day there's something. Now, granted, those holidays not as much as other days, but every single day there's something going on, so that's why we wanted to provide the service for you and update it with fresh content every single day. I'll tell you the problem with all these other websites is that you're getting some fresh content. Sometimes you're not getting any fresh content, we know. We are looking at them, but in baseballclassicscom slash diamondview, we are guaranteeing you're getting fresh content and you can't get this anywhere else. Now I'm not suggesting that you don't go to any of the other websites and only go to Diamondview, but I do guarantee that you won't find all of this in one place except for baseballclassescom slash diamondview.
Speaker 2:
9:20
So when you go over to that website, you'll see the navigation buttons at the top part of the screen Very simple, simply laid out and, again, it looks great on a mobile device or your desktop laptop tablet, all that. So at the very top we have a scrolling update of the headlines that are taking place. So we'll get to that. We'll come back to that in just a bit. Then we have the navigation buttons there. It's the menu, if you will. So we have rumors, news, trades, free agent tracking, transactions, videos for you to watch, diamondcast, of course.
Speaker 2:
9:58
This podcast, if you will, is there called Diamondcast, diamond Buzz. You can access that, get to all the articles and we release a new article there about every second or third day or so. Sometimes it's every day. Then we have the Diamond data there for you the 2024 season. So we'll talk about that. We give you a flashback of what's happened in Major League Baseball on this day, we give you a quote of the day and now you can see all the awards as well that have happened for 2024, and still some more coming when it comes to the Hall of Fame. So again, everything is right here in one place. So let's walk through it.
Speaker 2:
10:38
So when you come over to baseballclassicscom slash Diamond View, you're greeted by what daily? What we call the daily diamond. Think of it like a newspaper back in the old day, where you get the newspaper delivered to you. Now, this is something you have to go to. We aren't sending out an email about it. We could at some point We'll see Depends on the demand. But again, it's very simple. You can go to baseballclassicscom slash diamondview, bookmark it, go to it whenever you want. You get the latest and greatest. So you're greeted by the daily diamond at the very top. Um, again with the navigation, with the very top again you're going to get the scrolling news, sports headlines, updates from major league baseball, and then you get the navigation. Then there's a if you're new, you know, click here on a button and you can see again. We walk you through what's inside of Baseball Classics, real-time Diamond View. But again you'll see the Daily Diamond front and center. You'll also see the date, so you'll always know it's updated when you see the date for that day and we work hard to make sure we update this every morning early in the morning for Major League Baseball fans.
Speaker 2:
11:46
Now the first section that we have if you will in this, you know, we'll kind of refer to it here kind of as a newspaper the first section we know is the section that really everybody wants to know about right away. What are the rumors that are going on. We call it the Major League Baseball, the Diamond Whisperer. So you see the theme here. We have again the Daily Diamond, we have Diamond View, we have Diamond Buzz, diamond Data, diamond Castle.
Speaker 2:
12:05
It's called the Diamond Whisperer, where all the rumors are presented and you'll see rumors every single day, fresh rumors about something that somebody's talking about or reporting in Major League Baseball. So that's the first thing you're greeted with every single day. Now, just coming off of Thanksgiving, there's four rumors that we have that are fresh from that day. I mean that's Thanksgiving Day, so you can imagine other days that are just regular old days. There's always a lot to talk about. Sometimes in the Diamond Whisperer we'll have a dozen different updates for you there, but it's guaranteed to always be fresh, so you're never going to see these same things over and over and over again. It's going to be updated, it's going to be fresh, it's going to be new. So we have the rumors again. We call the Diamond Whisperer.
Speaker 2:
12:56
Underneath that, we have our free agent tracker for you and we know during the offseason. This is really important and what we decided to do here is that we have a list of over 130 Major League Baseball free agents so you can see the current signed players' total contract value and how far out these deals go, and we put them into a spreadsheet for you and you can download the spreadsheet and you can, of course, sort it and filter through it. Very simple to use. But we thought it'd be very important to put this into a spreadsheet version for you so you'll get the player their age, you get what the contract value was, of course, the term of the contract and which team they signed for. Also, right up front in the MLB free agent tracker that we put right into real-time Diamond View, you'll see it right there. You don't have to click on anything, you just see it. We are adding up again the player's total contract value and again how many years and who has signed the largest total contract values so far to date. So, as I record this right now, on Friday November 29th, blake Snell has signed the biggest deal for $182 million five years. So you see that right here on the website and then again you can go ahead and download that spreadsheet.
Speaker 2:
14:25
Any trades that's the next section. So Major League Baseball trade activity. So trades are reported there. We put those in Right. After that is any hot stove news and of course during the regular season there'll be any regular season news that's happening. So we have the hot stove news for you. After that are MLB transactions, so you can see the latest transactions that have taken place. I remember as a kid when I'd get the sports section, of course, looking at the box scores, but I always looked at the transactions what kind of transactions are taking place, what teams are doing what? So we have the full transactions section for you.
Speaker 2:
15:02
Then after that are the 2024 Major League Baseball Awards, so you'll see who won the gold glove, who was the Major League Baseball Executive of the Year, the Platinum Glove Awards, the Silver Slugger Awards, the Comeback Player of the Year Awards, the All-MLB teams, the first team, the second team, who won the Hank Aaron Awards, the Rivera-Hoffman Reliever of the Year Awards, rookie of Hoffman Reliever of the Year Awards, rookie of the Year Awards, manager of the Year Awards, cy Young Award winners, most Valuable Player Awards. So all those are there. And then we also have the Hall of Fame Classic Baseball Era Ballot there as well. It's taking place on December 8th, so there's a write-up about each player, just a short write-up, but you get to know again who these players are that are on this ballot. The other thing we did, too, for the first time, is that we projected who would win Rookie of the Year, cy Young and Most Valuable Player, based on the diamond data that you get access to as well. We got five or six of them correct. The one that we just missed barely was the American League Cy Young award, which went to Tarek Skubal. We had the Guardians reliever getting that award, but just barely edging out Skubal. So, anyway, we thought it would be kind of fun to use our diamond data because we have scoring in there as well. We score each player and that scoring system again has been very effective.
Speaker 2:
16:29
Used it to write a book earlier this year called Baseball Classics All-Time All-Stars. You know the single season, all-time all-star. So we published that book using all of this data. Okay, then we also have for you. We thought it'd be fun to put in a Major League Baseball quote of the day and then also MLB flashback on this day that happened. So you know, back on this date, that date, so on and so forth.
Speaker 2:
16:53
Right after that we post right now it's six different videos every single day. Always new videos every single day, not the same videos over and over and again. These are topical typically, and you know we may put some historical videos in here for you to view as well that we think will be of interest During the regular season. It's typically going to be highlights of the most important games that are played that day. So we'll have those in there for you and we may add more. Right now we have six in there. We may add more, we'll kind of see. Then you have the Baseball Classics Diamond Cast there. So of course you could listen to it right within diamond view.
Speaker 2:
17:33
After that is the diamond data section. There's a demo of how to use it. All the data is right there that you can scroll through. You'll see everything there. There's a lot of color coding in it. Again, it's great. It's got all the overall lefty righty, all those stats for batters and then for pitchers all in one database for you to be able to sort through. And and again the demo shows you how to do it. But it's really very straightforward, very simple. And again, if you find anything like this where you have the overall lefty-righty data that you could sort through, you have to pay for it.
Speaker 2:
18:06
I haven't seen anywhere where this is free. And again we score it on top. We have our diamond data scoring, we have our five player scoring and again a bunch of. Again there's dozens of statistical categories we have in here for you to be able to search through based on what happened in 2024. So I'll tell you if you're a fantasy baseball person, this alone would be worth coming over to diamond view and checking it out.
Speaker 2:
18:28
Again, it's free. Get right into it and then after that we again our overview demo of what's inside of Diamond View. So that's everything inside of Baseball Classics, real-time Diamond View at baseballclassicscom slash diamondview. But I guarantee like, for example, in the Whisperer, what we show there you're not going to find that all in one site and also the hot stove news that we have in that section. Get a free agent tracker with all that you can download, get all the transactions, all those awards, to get all of this, the flashback, all this, the videos, all this in one website. It does not exist today and, again, it's so simple to navigate through. So do yourself a favor, go over to baseballclassicscom slash diamondview and do a favor for your friends and family members who you know are Major League Baseball fans. Again, you could be a little leaguer, you could be an expert adult on Major League Baseball that you've been following for decades. It's for everybody. So remember. Also there's Diamond Buzz you get access to as well, with all the articles that we create again present day. So let's recap here you get all the Major League Baseball rumors that are happening, all the news that's happening, the trades, the free agent signings, the transactions, videos to watch Diamond Cast, to listen to diamond buzz, all those present day articles that we publish, the 2024 season of diamond data. You get the flashback, you get the quote of the day, you get all the awards everything is right there. Of course, you get the scrolling updates as well. So, as things are happening throughout the day, you get that During the regular season scores, standings, all that stuff as well. So everything all easy to navigate and get with no login.
Speaker 2:
20:23
Baseballclassicscom slash diamondviews Free service. Again, we're doing this for you. We thought this would be of great benefit for all the Major League Baseball fans. So why are we doing this? Well, again, we have to research all these topics about Major League Baseball from 1901 to present, and so, you know, for Baseball Classics Magazine, for the Diamond Buzz, for this Diamond Cast, we have to do that and we thought, as a way to say thank you to all the Major League Baseball fans that have supported our company throughout the decades, this would be a very nice way to do it by giving you the latest and greatest.
Speaker 2:
21:02
One more thing is that Real-Time Diamond View. We embedded it via QR code onto every Baseball Classics Legends of the Diamond player card. So when our customers buy Baseball Classics Legends of the Diamond player card. So when our customers buy Baseball Classics Legends on the Diamond, they can just, on any player card, scan it and it'll take them, of course, right to BaseballClassicscom slash DiamondView and they can see the latest and greatest.
Speaker 2:
21:26
So, again, we've put so many ways to be able to get to this and get all the latest information about Major League Baseball and condense it, put it into a really nice format for you. We really consider it really the cliff notes of what's happening that day in Major League Baseball. So take advantage of it. We are happy to serve this for you. And that's a wrap on this Baseball Classics Diamondcast. So, again, thanks so much for tuning in. Next time I'm back, well, we'll have another episode for you about Major League Baseball Classics Diamondcast. So again, thanks so much for tuning in. Next time I'm back, well, we'll have another episode for you about Major League Baseball. So stay tuned. Until then, I hope you're having a day that gives you the best of everything that you're looking for inside of it, and we'll see you next time in the Baseball Classics Diamondcast. So long, everybody.

Speaker 2:
20:23
