A Case For: NewDad

Grab a pint and enjoy this intimate conversation between Case and one of Ireland's greatest exports, NewDad. Taped moments before NewDad hit the stage for a packed gig at the Metro in Chicago, Case and frontwoman Julie Dawson discussed the difficulties of eating on the road, the confusing nature of having people care about what you're making, the band's decision to leave Atlantic Records and the pressure to film "content" for TikTok, and so much more!

A Case For…is an interview series conducted by Case Lowe, Executive Producer of Q101’s Brian & Kenzie Morning Show. An avid fan of underground music, Lowe has spent his entire adult life bouncing back and forth between the massive, corporate layouts of arena rock, and the smallest DIY rooms imaginable. A Case For... has provided Lowe with a platform to speak to tomorrow's festival headliners, today, while also providing a voice to artists who continue to cut their teeth in the DIY scene. Lowe's intimate, conversational interview style continues to provide a comfortable space for artists to open up about their ambitions, fears, and process in a way that few interviewers are able to accomplish.

A Case For…can reach nearly 500k followers and subscribers between Q101’s various digital platforms [YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok] with the push of a button. A Case For…has been featured in publications such as Loudwire and Lambgoat and has featured such acts as Knocked Loose, Militarie Gun, Touche Amore, and the legendary Insane Clown Posse.
