OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
Nathan Huening is back on the podcast. He is a principal solutions engineer on Webflow's Enterprise team and works with some of the largest clients Webflow has. We start with the Webflow desktop app and why a local file system matters once code becomes the source of truth. From there we get into malleable software and the idea that you could shape Webflow around your own workflow and around your client's, instead of handing them a fixed set of modes. Nathan also talks about openness and portability, and what it would mean to use Webflow tools like Optimize or localization without moving your whole site over. A big part of the conversation is about where the value goes now that building a site has become easy. Most of a website's life happens after launch, and that part has been underserved for a long time. We also cover WebflowConf and the pressure to deliver, agents running on production sites, what happens to Wix and Squarespace, and why niching down is still some of the best business advice out there. The episode ends with art, design, and what all of this is actually for.
