OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
In this episode of 2 Cans and a String, I sit down with Allan Sayers, veteran journalist and senior voice at The Canmaker. With decades of experience covering the global metal packaging industry, Allan has seen firsthand how innovation, leadership, and—most importantly—people have shaped the world of canmaking.
Our conversation goes beyond the headlines. We dive into the human side of the industry, exploring why relationships matter just as much as technology, and how strong connections between suppliers, decorators, and brand owners keep this community thriving. Allan also shares behind-the-scenes stories from his career, offering unique perspectives on how the industry has evolved and where it’s headed next.
If you’ve ever wondered what ties this global network together—or you just enjoy hearing great stories from someone who’s been at the center of it all—this is an episode you won’t want to miss.
