OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
The Podcast: The Outdated Wrestling Hour With Bob Smith podcast – now in its fourth year – offers veteran fans (as well as curious younger ones) a chance to reminisce about classic mat action from years gone by. The show is hosted by Smith, the former managing editor of Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine who also enjoyed a long history with other famous mat titles. Co-host Joe Puccio (GenerationXWire.com) offers a younger perspective on old wrestling before the duo ushers in guests from throughout the professional mat landscape.
The Topic: It’s a “look back with fondness” once again as The Outdated Wrestling Hour welcomes back podcaster Steve Gennarelli (Stick To Wrestling With John McAdam) for a second special edition on some of pro wrestling’s underrated stars – the grapplers who thrilled us that time seems to have greatly forgotten; the undercard workers who usually greatly aided every show they appeared in; and others who were way better than history might suggest. It’s another look back in to the 1970s and’80s on The Outdated Wrestling Hour – a veteran fan’s guide to the fun we all used to have in the old days!
