OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
There used to be a moment — before the wedding, before the first child, before the weight of it all settled in — when an older man would pull you aside and tell you something true. Something he'd learned the hard way. Something that would save you time.
For most of us, that moment never came.
The Missing Conversation is a podcast for men who are somewhere in the middle of a life they built — and wondering, quietly, if they're doing it right. Every episode, host Steve Evans sits down with a man who's been through one of the passages that define a life: leaving home, entering the world, building a family, watching it leave, or facing the end. And he asks him what he knows now that he wishes someone had handed him.
Not advice. Not therapy. The kind of honest conversation that used to happen around fires and on front porches, before men stopped gathering.
If you've ever lost yourself in the grind of providing. If you've ever watched a season of your life end and not known who you were on the other side of it. If you've ever carried something you couldn't quite name and had no one to say it to — this is the circle that should have existed.
It does now.
