OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
What if healing your inner child did not require reliving trauma, but learning how to feel safe in your body?
In this episode of The Mapuana Reed Show, Mapuana sits down with Sage King, a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator, to talk about inner child healing, reparenting, nervous system regulation, and how breathwork helps release stored emotions that talking alone cannot always reach.
Sage shares how breathwork journeys gently access the subconscious where old beliefs, emotional wounds, and childhood coping patterns live. Together, they explore why even people who had a great childhood can benefit from inner child work, how triggers in relationships often point to unmet needs from earlier years, and why healing does not have to be loud, intense, or overwhelming to be effective.
This conversation is especially powerful for women who feel like they are holding everything together on the outside while living with quiet anxiety, grief, or emotional tension on the inside.
In this episode, we cover: • What breathwork really is and how it works with the nervous system • Inner child healing even if you had loving parents • Reparenting yourself and why triggers are invitations to heal • Why gentle breathwork creates deeper, more sustainable change • How grief, people-pleasing, and over-functioning live in the body • How to know if you are ready for breathwork • Baby steps to begin breathwork safely and intentionally
This episode is for women who are ready to stop pushing, proving, and performing, and instead heal from the inside so life can feel lighter, calmer, and more connected.
