OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens to kick off Buffalo Bills training camp week with a funny, opinionated trip through some of the most memorable—and infamous—camp stories in franchise history.
From Terrell Owens mania and major contract holdouts to overhyped preseason standouts, Patrick and Joe discuss why training-camp performances rarely predict regular-season success. They also look ahead to what could feel different under Buffalo’s new coaching staff.
Key Takeaways- Training-camp stars such as Christian Wade and Andy Isabella demonstrate why preseason hype should be treated cautiously.
- Terrell Owens created unprecedented excitement when he arrived at Bills camp in 2009.
- The Jason Peters and Bruce Smith holdouts produced two of Buffalo’s most memorable contract disputes.
- Troy Vincent’s controversial hit on rookie quarterback J.P. Losman became an infamous moment in Bills camp history.
- Buffalo’s first post-Sean McDermott camp should feature noticeable changes, but Joe warns against overreacting to reports about a “looser” atmosphere.
