Grateful to be in existence.

00:01:15.760 --> 00:01:19.599
Because your energy vibrates on a frequency world.
00:01:20.719 --> 00:01:23.359
Peace to every man, woman, and child.
00:01:25.840 --> 00:01:28.879
Sun, moon, and stars, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.
00:01:29.519 --> 00:01:30.959
The divine trinity.
00:01:31.359 --> 00:01:32.719
Peace to y'all.
00:01:34.319 --> 00:01:37.040
Peace to the God bodies at God University.
00:01:38.879 --> 00:01:45.599
Peace to all my listeners and subscribers of the Supreme Manda podcast as well.
00:01:45.760 --> 00:01:47.040
I'm grateful for you.
00:01:49.439 --> 00:01:58.959
And if you haven't checked out the previous episode, which was episode 17, titled Programming, go check that out.
00:01:59.280 --> 00:02:00.799
It's very informative.
00:02:02.000 --> 00:02:06.000
Go check out episode 16, Fatherhood.
00:02:06.159 --> 00:02:16.000
Go check out episode 15, Brotherhood, part two, and go check out Episode 14, Sisterhood, part one.
00:02:16.319 --> 00:02:27.840
Well, shout out to Queen Sahara, the wisdom, and my sister, God Sis, Queen Magnificent.
00:02:27.919 --> 00:02:30.080
Shout out to you, and shout out to Rich Auntie.
00:02:30.240 --> 00:02:36.319
Well peace to everybody striving for peace.
00:02:36.479 --> 00:02:39.199
Peace to those striving for righteousness.
00:02:40.560 --> 00:02:47.360
And I know when you hear righteousness, you think religion, you think holy, and things like that.
00:02:47.759 --> 00:02:50.080
It just means do what you know is right.
00:02:50.719 --> 00:02:51.120
Right?
00:02:51.280 --> 00:02:59.919
The like the the easiest form and the easiest, you know, way to understand righteous, right?
00:03:00.240 --> 00:03:03.120
The first what, five letters of righteous is right.
00:03:03.360 --> 00:03:04.639
R-I-G-H-T.
00:03:04.879 --> 00:03:13.360
So don't just make the right decisions according to what you know is right and what you feel is right.
00:03:14.000 --> 00:03:15.520
Let's talk about it real quick.
00:03:15.759 --> 00:03:22.479
See, what you know and feel sometimes will correlate, and sometimes there'll be total opposites, right?
00:03:23.120 --> 00:03:31.039
Knowing you should do something and how you feel and how you react to how you feel is two different things.
00:03:31.919 --> 00:03:38.240
So knowing that something is what it is, that's logic.
00:03:38.560 --> 00:03:43.039
But you may not like how that feels.
00:03:43.199 --> 00:03:51.840
You may not like, you know, what you know, but that doesn't mean that it's not true, right?
00:03:52.400 --> 00:03:56.960
And you not liking it doesn't mean that's a problem, also.
00:03:57.360 --> 00:03:58.319
You feel me?
00:03:58.960 --> 00:04:00.800
I think we're so programmed.
00:04:01.280 --> 00:04:24.160
Again, go check out episode 17 to always want to feel good and not respect and accept things that do happen that are out of our control, and just, you know, be able to accept it just for what it is and it not, you know, affect how we feel.
00:04:24.399 --> 00:04:25.199
You know what I mean?
00:04:25.279 --> 00:04:30.639
Like everything is not meant to affect how you feel, it's really just information.
00:04:30.800 --> 00:04:31.759
Life, right?
00:04:31.920 --> 00:04:36.560
To me, the acronym for life is live information for education, right?
00:04:36.720 --> 00:04:40.720
So lessons are just information to help you better yourself.
00:04:40.800 --> 00:04:41.600
You know what I mean?
00:04:41.759 --> 00:04:45.680
You're gonna feel some type of way towards anything, right?
00:04:46.000 --> 00:04:57.680
If you're not practicing emotional intelligence or even know what emotional intelligence is, because that's what helps you manage your feelings properly.
00:04:58.240 --> 00:04:59.439
You feel what I'm saying?
00:04:59.680 --> 00:05:11.600
But when you're in alignment with yourself, mind, body, and spirit, what you know, right, is what you feel, and your feeling is a way of knowing, right?
00:05:12.000 --> 00:05:14.079
Because your feeling is intuitive.
00:05:14.240 --> 00:05:17.759
Feelings, you know, the interpretations of your emotions.
00:05:17.839 --> 00:05:27.519
So if you're in tune with yourself and possess emotional intelligence, you're able to interpret your feelings based upon your emotions, right?
00:05:30.079 --> 00:05:34.959
So, yeah, let's get into this season two, episode 18, y'all.
00:05:35.199 --> 00:05:36.639
Code of conduct.
00:05:36.879 --> 00:05:38.160
Now, what's code of conduct?
00:05:38.319 --> 00:05:51.439
Code of conduct is a formal set of rules and values that outlines the proper behavior, responsibilities, and ethical standards expected from members of an organization or group.
00:05:52.000 --> 00:05:58.160
And a group, in a sense, would be an example of a community.
00:05:58.319 --> 00:06:06.160
That's a group of people that live in a common place, in a common area that deal with common issues.
00:06:07.360 --> 00:06:08.000
Right.
00:06:09.360 --> 00:06:19.439
And in order for our community to thrive, right, not only survive but thrive, it must be governed by a code of conduct, right?
00:06:20.000 --> 00:06:28.079
The community as a whole, and each individual within that community should have a code of conduct.
00:06:28.319 --> 00:06:34.560
They should have a code that they stick to, you know, like the code of the streets to not snitch.
00:06:34.639 --> 00:06:42.160
But if you're not in the streets, running in the streets, a part of the streets, indulging in street activity, you're a pedestrian.
00:06:42.399 --> 00:06:43.920
It's not snitching.
00:06:44.079 --> 00:06:46.079
You're doing what citizens do.
00:06:46.240 --> 00:06:48.319
You're doing what a pedestrian does.
00:06:48.560 --> 00:06:57.600
Gangsters, people that sign up to run the streets, be in the streets, and participate in street activity shouldn't snitch.
00:06:57.759 --> 00:07:03.759
In other words, if they tell, that's what a snitch would be.
00:07:04.000 --> 00:07:05.920
Not just anyone telling, right?
00:07:06.079 --> 00:07:15.439
Because if you're down andor co-signing, you know, certain activity, and then you get caught, and then you start telling, you're a fraud.
00:07:15.600 --> 00:07:25.360
Clearly, you knew what the consequences were, but you wasn't strong enough mentally to endure the consequences.
00:07:25.839 --> 00:07:26.959
Feel what I'm saying?
00:07:27.199 --> 00:07:32.399
Those are wannabes, those fakes, frauds, whatever you want to call them.
00:07:32.480 --> 00:07:33.600
You know what I mean?
00:07:34.000 --> 00:07:36.240
They definitely not moving right and exact.
00:07:36.319 --> 00:07:40.160
They're definitely not moving righteous, you know what I'm saying?
00:07:40.240 --> 00:07:47.839
Like, because right or wrong, you're gonna stand on what you did and what you said, and the consequences from what you did and what you said.
00:07:48.160 --> 00:07:49.040
Feel me?
00:07:50.000 --> 00:07:52.160
So let's get that correct.
00:07:52.319 --> 00:07:53.600
Shout out to Styles P.
00:07:53.759 --> 00:08:09.279
He was like the first one for me to witness to break down the you know, the cold to the street as far as no snitching and what's considered snitching, and just that and a third.
00:08:09.600 --> 00:08:11.120
It makes perfect sense.
00:08:11.360 --> 00:08:12.560
And you know what I'm saying?
00:08:12.639 --> 00:08:13.439
I cosign.
00:08:13.680 --> 00:08:14.240
You know what I mean?
00:08:14.319 --> 00:08:27.439
Like I said, you're a civilian, you're not cosigning street activity or participating, you telling or giving information about a crime is just what you're supposed to do.
00:08:27.920 --> 00:08:30.399
I mean, and if you choose not to, that's cool too.
00:08:30.560 --> 00:08:34.159
But that's what regular everyday citizens do.
00:08:34.480 --> 00:08:39.519
They see a crime, they see something happening, they're gonna call and tell somebody.
00:08:39.759 --> 00:08:41.279
You know what I'm saying?
00:08:41.519 --> 00:08:45.840
Preferably law enforcement, so the situation can be handled, right?
00:08:46.000 --> 00:09:04.799
So those gangsters out there that claim they live by a code and want to sell all these drugs, shoot the neighborhood up and all like that, but tell on the next alleged gangster because you got caught up and can't face your consequences, you know what I'm saying?
00:09:04.879 --> 00:09:06.159
You whack for that.
00:09:06.879 --> 00:09:10.639
You're not a G at all, yo.
00:09:11.279 --> 00:09:14.960
So you have to have a cold, you know what I mean?
00:09:15.120 --> 00:09:17.600
Um, and not any cold.
00:09:18.159 --> 00:09:18.960
You know what I mean?
00:09:19.200 --> 00:09:22.960
You know, like the saying, all money ain't good money.
00:09:23.120 --> 00:09:23.919
True indeed.
00:09:24.000 --> 00:09:38.320
When everything possesses an energy, you know what I mean, whether it's money, whether, you know, even our clothing, everything vibrates on a frequency.
00:09:38.799 --> 00:09:46.960
All right, so the the neighborhood, the hood, the culture has no code.
00:09:47.279 --> 00:09:51.039
We run around with no rules, unruly, right?
00:09:51.919 --> 00:10:03.039
We don't value ourselves because we don't we don't show improved proper behavior or responsibilities or ethical standards.
00:10:03.200 --> 00:10:05.519
We just run around doing whatever.
00:10:05.919 --> 00:10:08.240
For the males, some of us.
00:10:08.399 --> 00:10:13.600
Our pants be sagging, drawers hanging out, you know what I'm saying?
00:10:15.039 --> 00:10:18.080
You're cussing, you're using found language, you know what I'm saying?
00:10:18.240 --> 00:10:23.200
Around elders, around children, you know what I'm saying, or even just around other adults, you know what I mean?
00:10:23.279 --> 00:10:24.399
It's it's a time and a place.
00:10:24.480 --> 00:10:32.159
It literally is a space and time to where, you know, you can conduct yourself in a certain type of manner, right?
00:10:32.480 --> 00:10:34.799
But that's if you have a cult, right?
00:10:35.679 --> 00:10:42.320
Um but so quick to roll up some weed wherever we at nowadays.
00:10:42.399 --> 00:10:50.240
Now, you know, I'm in I'm in New York State and it's legal where it's legal, and it's other states that it's legal, and some states is still illegal.
00:10:50.480 --> 00:10:56.240
But you know, everybody just is just wants to flaunt that they smoke.
00:10:56.399 --> 00:11:04.240
Like, we outside, everybody got the biggest blunt road, the biggest A Bob Molly road, like you know what I'm saying?
00:11:04.320 --> 00:11:09.519
Like the biggest rap road, the biggest backwards road, like less is more.
00:11:09.759 --> 00:11:11.200
Y'all don't even get it.
00:11:11.440 --> 00:11:20.080
And if the weed you blowing is top-notch or top tier, or you know, official, then why would you have to roll so much?
00:11:20.480 --> 00:11:21.600
Think about that.
00:11:22.720 --> 00:11:28.960
Like if it's if it's legit and it's fire, it's high grade, then you don't gotta roll that much.
00:11:29.200 --> 00:11:31.519
Something else Styles P put me on, too.
00:11:31.759 --> 00:11:32.960
Rolling skinnies.
00:11:33.200 --> 00:11:38.080
Shout out to Styles P and shout out to Strain Gang, his cannabis company.
00:11:38.240 --> 00:11:45.600
Shout out to the partners and everybody that, you know, um collaborated with him and bringing that into fruition.
00:11:45.840 --> 00:11:48.000
Shout out to Jewish Styles, his wife.
00:11:48.159 --> 00:11:50.559
Shout out to Noah Styles, his son.
00:11:50.720 --> 00:11:51.440
Word up.
00:11:51.519 --> 00:11:52.639
Shout out to the locks.
00:11:53.919 --> 00:11:57.279
You know what I mean, representing brotherhood for real.
00:11:57.519 --> 00:11:58.080
Word up.
00:11:58.240 --> 00:12:03.200
We'll check out episode 16, calling self 15, brotherhood.
00:12:03.600 --> 00:12:04.639
You know what I mean?
00:12:04.879 --> 00:12:13.840
Those brothers definitely emulate the positive attributes of, you know, spoke of on that episode.
00:12:14.000 --> 00:12:17.120
Or but yeah, less is more.
00:12:17.200 --> 00:12:22.000
If you, you know, if it's it's a if it's official, you don't need that much, man.
00:12:22.159 --> 00:12:22.960
You know what I mean?
00:12:23.120 --> 00:12:32.240
Just like if you're an official person, you don't need the labels, you don't need jewelry, you don't really need nothing to be, to exist, to be seen, to be heard.
00:12:32.559 --> 00:12:36.000
You just exist and you are seen.
00:12:36.159 --> 00:12:37.679
You are heard, you're acknowledged.
00:12:37.759 --> 00:12:38.559
You know what I'm saying?
00:12:38.720 --> 00:12:40.159
Saluted, respected.
00:12:40.399 --> 00:12:41.759
You know what I mean?
00:12:42.080 --> 00:12:48.399
But because that's because you have that hot energy within you that people can feel and admit that you move with, right?
00:12:48.480 --> 00:12:56.000
You have a code of conduct, you conduct yourself in a specific way, you value yourself, you're responsible, you have standards, right?
00:12:57.120 --> 00:13:02.240
You try to govern yourself accordingly to the best of your ability.
00:13:02.480 --> 00:13:03.600
You feel what I'm saying?
00:13:03.759 --> 00:13:06.879
And respecting your words, you know what I'm saying?
00:13:07.039 --> 00:13:15.519
Being respectful with your ways and your actions as well, within yourself as well as those around you and in the world, period.
00:13:15.759 --> 00:13:17.279
You feel what I'm saying?
00:13:19.039 --> 00:13:20.720
Us men, we don't have a cold.
00:13:20.799 --> 00:13:25.279
We, you know, some of us, man, we like to sleep around, you know what I mean?
00:13:25.759 --> 00:13:38.399
Or we like to cuff a woman and then not be honest about other women we're interested in, want to date, are dating, or, you know, all the above.
00:13:38.639 --> 00:13:39.200
You know what I mean?
00:13:39.279 --> 00:13:40.480
There's no cold in that.
00:13:40.879 --> 00:13:41.600
You know what I'm saying?
00:13:41.679 --> 00:13:45.200
You don't you clearly don't value yourself to be true.
00:13:45.759 --> 00:13:53.039
Like, because you don't, you know, value the relationships you have, and in particular with a woman, as I just stated.
00:13:53.120 --> 00:13:53.679
You know what I mean?
00:13:53.759 --> 00:13:54.960
You're not being honest.
00:13:55.120 --> 00:13:59.840
And if you were, you know what I mean, that would show that you value yourself.
00:14:00.000 --> 00:14:00.879
You value her.
00:14:01.039 --> 00:14:02.000
You know what I'm saying?
00:14:02.159 --> 00:14:09.360
You have a responsibility to, you know, conduct yourself in a pacific manner, you know what I'm saying?
00:14:10.879 --> 00:14:13.759
And govern yourself accordingly, right?
00:14:15.279 --> 00:14:17.279
And some of us don't have standards.
00:14:17.440 --> 00:14:24.399
We'll do anything, we'll say anything, we'll wear anything, we'll date anything.
00:14:26.240 --> 00:14:28.240
And beauty's in the eye of beholding.
00:14:28.399 --> 00:14:33.840
I'm not saying surface level, you know, the person, you know, how the person looks.
00:14:33.919 --> 00:14:37.200
I never even said anything about, you know, their looks.
00:14:37.440 --> 00:14:52.559
Just saying anything in a sense, being funny but sarcastic in reference to, you know, just dealing with a person that doesn't have a code of conduct, dealing with a person that doesn't conduct themselves and doesn't care how they act.
00:14:52.720 --> 00:14:53.519
You know what I'm saying?
00:14:53.679 --> 00:14:58.960
And they don't, you know, value themselves enough to hold themselves to a standard.
00:14:59.120 --> 00:14:59.840
You know what I'm saying?
00:14:59.919 --> 00:15:03.279
And be responsible for their words, their ways, and their actions.
00:15:03.360 --> 00:15:08.000
And whether you want to be or not, you will be responsible somehow, some way.
00:15:08.559 --> 00:15:09.039
All right.
00:15:12.000 --> 00:15:19.759
Us kings like to drink away our pain, smoke away our pain, things like that.
00:15:19.919 --> 00:15:24.960
You know, some of us don't like to talk and speak about how we feel.
00:15:25.120 --> 00:15:33.840
Nevertheless, we're still gonna feel, we're still going to, you know, go through things, we're gonna experience things, and it's how we perceive them.
00:15:34.080 --> 00:15:43.679
It's how we'll, you know, determine how we um resolve the issue.
00:15:45.039 --> 00:15:54.399
You know, mend, reconcile, refine, rectify, you know what I'm saying, the situation.
00:15:58.080 --> 00:16:10.559
And as kings, we also don't like to handle conflict, you know, maturely.
00:16:11.519 --> 00:16:12.960
You know what I'm saying?
00:16:13.759 --> 00:16:17.039
With responsibility and some type of standard.
00:16:17.200 --> 00:16:23.120
Like everything is not an argument, a fight, a stabbing, or a shootout.
00:16:23.679 --> 00:16:27.519
All right, those, you know, people that do that, they lack the code of conduct.
00:16:27.759 --> 00:16:30.399
They don't value themselves, they don't value life.
00:16:30.639 --> 00:16:34.399
So if they don't value themselves, they don't value their life, they don't value life.
00:16:34.559 --> 00:16:36.399
As within, so without.
00:16:36.960 --> 00:16:56.480
So what you value will reveal itself on the choices you make, the things you say, the things you do, people you around, people you you befriend, the people you date, including your family, the type of family members you, you know, you end up connecting with, aligning with.
00:16:56.639 --> 00:16:59.600
That all determines who you are internally.
00:16:59.679 --> 00:17:00.720
If you have values.
00:17:00.879 --> 00:17:06.720
If you have values, you'll you know, connect with people that also have values, you know what I'm saying?
00:17:07.039 --> 00:17:19.680
And you know, choose to live their life, you know, from a higher standard properly, you know what I'm saying?
00:17:19.839 --> 00:17:38.640
And you know, being responsible for their behavior, you know what I mean, and keeping themselves at a higher standard, regardless of you know what others may do or what societal norms are trending, right?
00:17:40.319 --> 00:18:27.200
And uh the societal norm that's trending is disrespectful, lustful, hateful, lacking emotional intelligence, lack knowledge of self, lack patience, um just you know, chaotic, um, with no balance or equality, selfish, you know, only worried about you, but at the same time, you you know, you sometimes act as if you know you care about others that are in your life, but you really only truly care because they're supporting you, they're doing something for you.
00:18:27.279 --> 00:18:35.759
And if they stop doing what they're doing for you, you won't end up connecting with them anymore.
00:18:35.839 --> 00:18:36.559
You know what I'm saying?
00:18:36.640 --> 00:18:42.079
You end up not even, you know, being in this person's life.
00:18:42.319 --> 00:18:47.680
So, you know, you have to know who is who and what they are.
00:18:48.240 --> 00:18:48.799
Right?
00:18:50.000 --> 00:18:51.440
And who they're not.
00:18:51.839 --> 00:19:05.200
Speaking with the wisdom a few experiences ago on, you know, in general, I feel like people think they know that who they are or know who they are, but they don't know who they're not.
00:19:05.920 --> 00:19:06.480
Right.
00:19:07.279 --> 00:19:28.559
So a college student, PhD, you know, aiming for a very um important career in medicine or being a lawyer and things like that.
00:19:30.480 --> 00:19:32.720
Or anything that's important to them.
00:19:33.599 --> 00:19:34.240
Right?
00:19:36.240 --> 00:19:48.319
It's a it's a code, you know, you still have to govern yourself by, regardless of what you you take on in life, you know what I'm saying?
00:19:48.480 --> 00:19:49.839
What you want to be in life.
00:19:50.000 --> 00:19:51.359
That doesn't matter.
00:19:51.599 --> 00:19:53.039
You know what I mean?
00:19:53.599 --> 00:20:17.279
So my point is a person that is after a life, you know, that they're literally constructing piece by piece, wouldn't be hanging out late nights on a drug set, meaning a drug block where they serve a certain drug.
00:20:18.400 --> 00:20:20.000
They won't be out there.
00:20:20.720 --> 00:20:21.519
You know what I'm saying?
00:20:21.599 --> 00:20:30.559
They're not gonna be putting themselves in positions that is not conducive to what they're creating in their life.
00:20:30.880 --> 00:20:43.680
And now the person on that drug block or that drug set, you won't really catch them, you know, in the library, you know what I'm saying?
00:20:44.720 --> 00:20:51.680
Trying to, you know, better themselves in any type of way.
00:20:52.640 --> 00:20:53.279
Right?
00:20:54.480 --> 00:20:58.720
You won't catch them, you know.
00:21:00.480 --> 00:21:10.400
But it's not, I mean, I'm not saying a hundred percent that people don't indulge in opposites, because people do, right?
00:21:10.480 --> 00:21:15.519
Because the most sadistic people could end up being a religious person.
00:21:15.599 --> 00:21:16.319
You feel what I'm saying?
00:21:16.480 --> 00:21:28.160
Motherfuckers is devils Monday through Saturday, club is Friday and Saturday, party is Friday and Saturday, but Sunday's best on Sunday.
00:21:28.400 --> 00:21:28.720
Nah.
00:21:28.880 --> 00:21:30.880
You're a fraud, you don't have no code.
00:21:31.279 --> 00:21:32.799
Playing both sides of the fence.
00:21:32.880 --> 00:21:33.680
You know what I'm saying?
00:21:33.839 --> 00:21:36.160
So it's like it's literally either one or the other.
00:21:36.319 --> 00:21:38.400
You playing the block, right?
00:21:39.039 --> 00:21:43.759
Or you planning a positive lifestyle for yourself, right?
00:21:44.000 --> 00:21:59.759
You're planning a positive lifestyle for yourself, or creating a positive lifestyle for yourself, or you play in the streets and you know, playing with your livelihood, you're playing with your freedom through how you.
00:22:00.160 --> 00:22:01.440
Conduct yourself.
00:22:01.839 --> 00:22:08.880
It's exactly what you're doing when you don't conduct yourself in an orderly fashion.
00:22:09.680 --> 00:22:10.640
Alright.
00:22:14.720 --> 00:22:20.400
We always at times the culture wants to be seen and heard.
00:22:20.799 --> 00:22:37.440
So, you know, when we do have conflicts, we're loud, we're cursing, you know, we're trying, it's like we do everything in our power to degrade the person versus focusing on the solution to the problem.
00:22:38.000 --> 00:22:40.480
And that's what that's that's what happens.
00:22:40.720 --> 00:22:50.720
That's how beef is created, animosity is created through not being able to correctly solve problems, right?
00:22:50.960 --> 00:23:16.160
And solving a problem doesn't happen by screaming and yelling at each other, it doesn't happen by judging each other, it happens by you researching what's the problem, doing the knowledge to the problem, being honest about what part you played in it, and you know, move on from it, apologize and keep it moving.
00:23:16.319 --> 00:23:20.160
And we know that change behavior is the truest apology.
00:23:20.240 --> 00:23:29.279
So do your best to govern yourself accordingly around this person, or when you're not around this person, and if you can, just stay from around the person.
00:23:29.359 --> 00:23:30.160
You know what I mean?
00:23:30.480 --> 00:23:36.319
Do what's right in the situation, as I spoke of righteousness.
00:23:36.559 --> 00:23:41.440
Doesn't mean perfect, it doesn't mean holy, it just means you're doing what you know is right.
00:23:41.519 --> 00:23:57.039
And when you do what you know is right, then you keep yourself out of problems, you keep yourself out of penalties, issues, consequences, you know what I'm saying, that you know will take from you.
00:23:57.599 --> 00:23:58.559
You know what I mean?
00:23:58.720 --> 00:24:10.640
So in some form or fashion, whether it be energy, whether it be money, whether you know it be heartache, which is energy too, you know what I'm saying?
00:24:11.519 --> 00:24:19.200
Um stress, anxiety, depression, like things like that.
00:24:19.440 --> 00:24:25.920
So let's talk about what includes, what's included in the code of conduct, right?
00:24:26.799 --> 00:24:37.440
Number one, the core values of the code of conduct is pretty much the guide and omission and principles of the group.
00:24:38.480 --> 00:24:38.880
Right?
00:24:38.960 --> 00:24:51.119
So the code of conduct and core values of the community should be to be humble, support each other, respect each other, right?
00:24:52.720 --> 00:25:01.119
And do the best we can as community members to keep our neighborhoods safe and keep them clean.
00:25:01.279 --> 00:25:02.160
You know what I'm saying?
00:25:02.319 --> 00:25:04.720
Respect the neighborhood, respect each other.
00:25:05.200 --> 00:25:08.240
All right, that will be an example of a core value, right?
00:25:09.599 --> 00:25:16.000
The second thing that's included in the code of conduct is behavioral rules, right?
00:25:16.160 --> 00:25:23.920
Specific guidelines on how people should treat one another with respect, with love, with understanding, with patience, right?
00:25:24.160 --> 00:25:28.319
Knowing that you probably going through the same thing, but I just deal with it differently.
00:25:28.400 --> 00:25:31.920
Or I'm going through something that you never went through, right?
00:25:32.400 --> 00:25:39.839
But having that understanding will always aid in mending any situation, right?
00:25:40.000 --> 00:25:44.400
And some situations may end where no one is verbal, no one's talking anymore.
00:25:44.640 --> 00:25:45.599
But that's cool.
00:25:45.839 --> 00:25:54.880
But as long as you have an understanding, you know, you shouldn't have any more problems moving forward, is the point.
00:25:55.519 --> 00:25:55.920
Right?
00:25:56.000 --> 00:25:59.519
So understanding is accepting things as they are, not what they appear to be.
00:25:59.599 --> 00:26:23.359
So I'm gonna accept the fact that um you're not the person you said you were, part of respect the person, you know, you say you are, take it for what it is.
00:26:23.519 --> 00:26:32.079
But if it doesn't align with who I truly think you are or who you say you are, then I might have to fall back.
00:26:32.640 --> 00:26:33.279
Right?
00:26:33.599 --> 00:26:38.960
And that doesn't make me better than you, that doesn't mean something's wrong with you, right?
00:26:39.599 --> 00:26:46.079
Doesn't make me perfect, but it just means that there's a disconnection in our relationship.
00:26:46.319 --> 00:26:52.240
We don't have a connection, so why should we continue to try to connect with each other?
00:26:52.480 --> 00:27:12.559
All right, it's like we force ourselves in relationships and force people to have relationships with us because we're not being honest, you know what I'm saying, with what the person is showing us as far as how they treat us.
00:27:13.200 --> 00:27:26.079
Number three, the third thing included in the code of conduct is sometimes legal compliance, instructions to follow laws and avoid legal actions.
00:27:26.240 --> 00:27:27.039
You know what I mean?
00:27:27.759 --> 00:28:19.200
Again, if you're moving accordingly, respectful and value yourself and value responsibility and take responsibility, then you are and will prevent yourself from legal action, which means you won't be in the streets acting unruly to get a you know a public what obstruction charge, public lewdness, public intoxication, just you know, moving reckless, you know what I mean, being violent, any various levels of abuse, right?
00:28:22.480 --> 00:28:34.319
Having a code of conduct in simple terms is just keeping you out of the eyes of the law, keeping you from going to court andor jail, right?
00:28:35.599 --> 00:28:43.599
And you should have your own law before you can govern yourself to any other laws, right?
00:28:46.640 --> 00:28:52.240
You should have your own law in the form of being your own master.
00:28:52.480 --> 00:28:56.240
I self, law, and master.
00:28:56.720 --> 00:29:00.640
I self, lord and master, right?
00:29:01.519 --> 00:29:12.960
Which means you're the God of yourself, you're the governor of yourself, you're the master of yourself, you're the ruler of yourself, you're the sole controller of yourself.
00:29:14.160 --> 00:29:16.079
That's first and foremost, right?
00:29:16.400 --> 00:29:19.359
Your law is the law.
00:29:20.240 --> 00:29:21.599
You feel what I'm saying?
00:29:21.920 --> 00:29:31.839
Because when your law is governed correctly, you won't have to worry about any of these other laws being rendered against you, right?
00:29:33.119 --> 00:29:38.559
Because you're governing yourself through your own law.
00:29:39.359 --> 00:29:40.240
You know what I'm saying?
00:29:40.400 --> 00:30:00.319
Last but not least, what else is included in the code of conduct, as I spoke of, is consequences, penalties, or disciplinary actions for breaking the rules or laws that you're supposed to govern yourself by, right?
00:30:00.640 --> 00:30:08.720
It's consequences for everything that you do, it's consequences for everything you that you say in some form or fashion.
00:30:08.960 --> 00:30:14.640
Whether it was intentional, unintentional, known, or unknown, right?
00:30:17.359 --> 00:30:26.799
The level of consequences definitely will vary depending on the severity of the situation.
00:30:29.359 --> 00:31:02.720
But being responsible means having a code of conduct, so you shouldn't have to endure too many consequences if you're governing yourself accordingly, if you're living up to ethical standards, your standards, living up to your laws, all right, abiding and abiding and governing yourself, all right.
00:31:02.960 --> 00:31:10.880
Because before you can yield to a government, you should yield to your own government.
00:31:11.200 --> 00:31:16.480
And if you're doing that, you won't have to yield to any other government, all right?
00:31:16.799 --> 00:31:23.920
Because you're you have the capabilities and powers to govern yourself accordingly, all right?
00:31:24.319 --> 00:31:25.359
Self-govern.
00:31:27.279 --> 00:31:34.559
All right, you lay the laws down and right.
00:31:35.039 --> 00:31:38.880
Let yourself know what you're gonna do, what you're not gonna do, right?
00:31:38.960 --> 00:31:43.920
You discipline yourself to speak a certain way and not speak a certain way.
00:31:44.079 --> 00:31:45.599
You govern yourself, right?
00:31:45.759 --> 00:31:51.759
And teach yourself on how to act on how not to act, right?
00:31:51.839 --> 00:32:07.200
So it's not really the law or law enforcement that governs you, it's the fact that you don't have a code of conduct, so you're unable to govern yourself, you don't have laws, you know what I'm saying?
00:32:07.359 --> 00:32:11.440
You're not responsible for your conduct, right?
00:32:13.039 --> 00:32:22.880
You're not aware of what your actions andor conduct is doing, right?
00:32:23.519 --> 00:32:28.480
To yourself or those around you, you know what I'm saying?
00:32:31.359 --> 00:32:38.079
Well, some people about probably ask, why does the code of conduct matter?
00:32:38.240 --> 00:32:40.000
Why does having a code matter?
00:32:40.319 --> 00:32:41.920
It just does, right?
00:32:42.640 --> 00:32:46.240
I'll give you some examples and why it matters.
00:32:46.480 --> 00:32:50.160
Having a code of conduct creates safety, all right?
00:32:50.319 --> 00:32:55.039
It prevents bad behavior, unhealthy behavior, I would say, right?
00:32:55.680 --> 00:33:01.680
It keeps the public spaces respectful, as well as the workplace, all right.
00:33:02.640 --> 00:33:17.279
Having a code, meaning being responsible, governing yourself properly, all right, maintaining healthy behavior, being calm, collective, valuing your life, valuing other lives, all right.
00:33:17.599 --> 00:33:19.200
Create safety.
00:33:20.240 --> 00:33:29.200
All right, it makes others feel seen, heard, respected, all right, understood, it makes them feel good.
00:33:29.359 --> 00:33:32.720
So now there's peace, all right.
00:33:33.119 --> 00:33:36.319
Now we have an understanding, we have common ground.
00:33:37.519 --> 00:33:39.200
That's why it matters.
00:33:39.519 --> 00:33:40.720
Safety matters.
00:33:40.960 --> 00:33:46.559
Everyone is entitled to a safe place and safe space.
00:33:47.920 --> 00:33:59.920
Some of us aren't capable yet and or don't possess the capacity to create a safe space for someone else, but you can eventually do so.
00:34:00.160 --> 00:34:11.599
But you have to work on your space, all right, and being a safe space within yourself to trust yourself, to love yourself, to value yourself, right?
00:34:12.159 --> 00:34:18.239
And that will eventually build you up to becoming a safe space for someone else.
00:34:19.199 --> 00:34:19.840
All right.
00:34:20.800 --> 00:34:26.400
Another reason why it matters, it sets clear expectations, it provides clarity.
00:34:26.480 --> 00:34:34.239
Everyone knows what they can and cannot do, provides clear knowledge, right?
00:34:35.760 --> 00:34:38.159
Wisely for you to understand.
00:34:38.639 --> 00:34:46.800
All right, to govern yourself accordingly, properly, respectfully, responsibly, all right?
00:34:49.039 --> 00:34:55.920
Having a care and concern for ethics and standards, right?
00:34:56.880 --> 00:34:58.559
That you uphold.
00:35:00.159 --> 00:35:03.360
And a person will understand that, all right?
00:35:03.440 --> 00:35:08.880
It's it's clear the boundary is clear that you're setting.
00:35:08.960 --> 00:35:18.880
That I'm gonna govern myself accordingly, peacefully, calmly, all right, amongst myself, within myself, and amongst those around me.
00:35:20.000 --> 00:35:26.559
All right, because you are the law and master, all right?
00:35:27.360 --> 00:35:30.559
What you say goes, all right?
00:35:30.880 --> 00:35:33.840
You can create your own set of rules.
00:35:35.119 --> 00:35:43.360
You can can you can set your own laws, in a sense, that's what having a code is.
00:35:44.239 --> 00:35:54.639
You're setting the standards and rules on how you're going to operate, how you're gonna move, who you're gonna be, who you are.
00:35:56.320 --> 00:36:03.679
All right, so it sets clear expectations on what a person can expect from you.
00:36:03.840 --> 00:36:15.440
All right, and when you have a proper code of conduct, a person knows you are respectful, your understanding, all right, you're responsible.
00:36:18.960 --> 00:36:29.440
Yeah, yeah, yeah, your actions will always reveal your thoughts and who you are, all right?
00:36:30.320 --> 00:36:40.320
So having a code of conduct is important because setting clear expectations and intentions matters.
00:36:42.000 --> 00:36:51.039
And last but not least, why a code of conduct matters is it protects people, places, and things, right?
00:36:51.119 --> 00:37:00.159
It protects communities, it shields communities from trouble and bad culture, as well as companies, right?
00:37:01.199 --> 00:37:26.800
Having a code of conduct in a public and in professional settings is what enables that public place, community, or workplace govern itself peacefully, responsibly, adequately, right, um, and ethically.
00:37:28.159 --> 00:38:04.480
It keeps a certain standard set in that space so everyone's respected and has an understanding on how to govern themselves and how to govern themselves in reference to interacting with other people within the community, people within your workplace, whether it's your direct, your fellow employees, or you know, those that are distant employees that you know you may not even interact with as much.
00:38:06.639 --> 00:38:13.840
You know, like people that are in a you know, a different department, another department other than yours, right?
00:38:14.559 --> 00:38:31.199
Regardless of how much you guys interact, there's still a code of conduct within that workplace to govern yourselves accordingly when it comes to your co-workers, including, you know, the managers, supervisors, and so on and so on and so forth, right?
00:38:33.280 --> 00:38:36.559
So having a code of conduct protects everyone, right?
00:38:36.800 --> 00:38:43.039
That's why there's rules of no sexual harassment, whether it's verbal, physical, or of any kind, right?
00:38:43.840 --> 00:38:57.599
It's just not you know an action or energy that's welcomed in the workplace or even in public, you know, at home, in the community, wherever you may be.
00:39:26.559 --> 00:39:31.679
On how to behave and/or how you should behave, right?
00:39:32.239 --> 00:39:43.360
That reflects that you respect yourself, you value yourself, and that you're responsible and most of all accountable for your words, your ways, and your actions, right.
00:39:47.840 --> 00:39:52.960
Just want to shout out the freedom fighters.
00:39:53.039 --> 00:40:03.280
I want to take some time out to shout out George Jackson, Geronimo Pratt, shout out to Huey P.
00:40:03.440 --> 00:40:21.280
Newton, shout out to Asada Shakur, shout out to Angela Davis, shout out to Fred Hampton, shout out to Mega Evers, shout out to my spiritual father Malcolm X, better known as El Hajj, Malik L.
00:40:21.440 --> 00:40:46.800
Shabazz, shout out to Martin Luther King, or shout out to Marcus Garvey, shout out to Father Allah, shout out to Justice, the first non-born, shout out to power, salute, stand allen, stand up.
00:40:51.599 --> 00:40:55.199
Speaking of standing allen, free killer sin, peace of the god.
00:40:59.679 --> 00:41:00.639
Shout out to A.
00:41:00.880 --> 00:41:01.039
D.
00:41:01.199 --> 00:41:06.880
King, Mont Luther King's brother, who they assassinated after they assassinated him.
00:41:10.000 --> 00:41:12.079
Shout out to Nipsey Hustle.
00:41:14.480 --> 00:41:15.920
Rest in power.
00:41:19.599 --> 00:41:30.719
And these are influential cultural civil rights leaders and freedom fighters for the original people.
00:41:30.880 --> 00:42:09.599
They either lost their life in the fight or just lost their life to general circumstances and or lost their life from hatred, from racism from the FBI, CIA, and or NYPD or local enforcement, wherever these fallen kings were assassinated.
00:42:11.760 --> 00:42:12.559
Word up.
00:42:12.719 --> 00:42:16.719
Peace, love and light upon your families and your lineage.
00:42:16.880 --> 00:42:22.960
Just wanted to take the time out to salute y'all and say I'm grateful.
00:42:23.440 --> 00:42:35.039
I have the utmost gratitude for your service, for the ultimate sacrifice, and for standing up for what you know was right.
00:42:36.800 --> 00:42:39.440
Shout out to the whole Black Panther party.
00:42:43.519 --> 00:42:46.800
So, yeah, let's get back to the code of conduct.
00:42:49.679 --> 00:42:54.800
So I'm gonna give you three examples of proper code of conduct, right?
00:42:55.119 --> 00:42:56.960
Being inclusive, right?
00:42:57.440 --> 00:43:03.920
Regardless of your background, creed, color, your skin, you know what I'm saying?
00:43:06.320 --> 00:43:12.480
We should all respect diverse viewpoints, languages, and cultures.
00:43:12.800 --> 00:43:14.079
Bottom line.
00:43:14.320 --> 00:43:18.079
Again, that's moving righteous, that's being righteous, doing what's right.
00:43:18.159 --> 00:43:20.320
You may not like it, you may not like them.
00:43:21.519 --> 00:43:41.440
That doesn't give you the right to be little, to disrespect, to be violent towards them, to shun them, and or and or deem what's valid to them.
00:43:42.000 --> 00:43:59.760
It's not your place to overpower other people of other cultures because you lack the understanding, because you lack love, because you lack wisdom and knowledge of yourself.
00:44:01.280 --> 00:44:03.039
That's a you problem.
00:44:04.800 --> 00:44:07.760
Second example: showing empathy.
00:44:07.920 --> 00:44:11.920
Treat people with kindness, consideration, and patience.
00:44:12.159 --> 00:44:12.719
All right.
00:44:13.440 --> 00:44:14.960
Everyone doesn't go home with you.
00:44:15.039 --> 00:44:16.719
Your co-workers don't go home with you.
00:44:16.880 --> 00:44:24.320
People that you may not like in this existence, they they these people aren't like in your life 24-7.
00:44:24.559 --> 00:44:25.519
Some of these people, right?
00:44:25.679 --> 00:44:26.480
Some of the people are.
00:44:26.639 --> 00:44:38.800
Some are family, some are friends or was friends, but regardless of what you don't like and how you feel about something, you should always show empathy.
00:44:41.039 --> 00:44:44.000
Which means, in another words, understanding love.
00:44:44.880 --> 00:44:47.280
Because you don't know what this person's going through.
00:44:47.519 --> 00:44:49.599
You're not helping them go through it.
00:44:49.840 --> 00:45:06.880
No, you're not the reason they're going through it, but that doesn't mean you should feel like you should rub it in their face or, you know, just be careless because they're going through something that has nothing to do with you.
00:45:07.199 --> 00:45:19.840
But of course, when you go through it, I'm sure you want people to, you know what I'm saying, be there for you, comfort you, you know, and have empathy.
00:45:20.079 --> 00:45:24.000
That we all go through things we're probably used to going through.
00:45:24.159 --> 00:45:27.519
Some of us go through things we're not used to going through.
00:45:27.840 --> 00:45:31.360
Some of us go through things another person will never go through.
00:45:31.440 --> 00:45:36.159
Or some of us are going through the same things, but we're still gonna perceive it.
00:45:36.320 --> 00:45:38.079
Our viewpoints will be different.
00:45:38.239 --> 00:45:50.079
So we should have that empathy, that understanding, that understanding that this person is who they are, and just wish them the best and move on.
00:45:50.639 --> 00:45:51.280
All right.
00:45:53.840 --> 00:45:59.599
The third example of proper code of conduct is collaboration sometimes.
00:45:59.760 --> 00:46:00.960
You know what I'm saying?
00:46:01.280 --> 00:46:06.880
To resolve disagreements constructively before escalating conflict.
00:46:07.039 --> 00:46:13.920
Now, sometimes collaborating on things does make it easier, right?
00:46:14.960 --> 00:46:32.000
And sometimes collaborating may make it easier, but it causes disagreements because one person wants to be in control of it, the other person wants to be in control of it, wants to be the head of it, the face of it, the name of it, wants to be seen and heard that they was the one that did this and did that.
00:46:32.159 --> 00:46:32.639
You know what I mean?
00:46:32.719 --> 00:46:38.480
And that's why sometimes collaborating don't help or won't help, right?
00:46:40.159 --> 00:46:49.760
So I would just say be treat people how you want to be treated, right?
00:46:51.360 --> 00:46:54.960
Understand there's things that you won't understand, right?
00:46:55.360 --> 00:47:06.320
Understand that sometimes you won't resolve a disagreement because either you're not ready to accept the growth in it or the other person's not ready to accept it, right?
00:47:07.840 --> 00:47:13.039
But that's why the phrase agree to disagree exists, right?
00:47:13.199 --> 00:47:21.840
Because you don't have to disagree, you don't have to agree, but you can agree to disagree and move on and just leave it at that.
00:47:23.760 --> 00:47:27.199
Doesn't make it a problem with this person.
00:47:27.679 --> 00:47:33.119
Because they don't agree with you doesn't make, it doesn't mean that this person has a problem with you.
00:47:34.000 --> 00:47:36.320
All right, it's just a conflict.
00:47:36.480 --> 00:47:40.719
A conflict is just you're undecided on what to do.
00:47:40.880 --> 00:47:43.679
Go left, go left, go right, go up, go down.
00:47:44.159 --> 00:47:46.239
Yes, no, yellow, white.
00:47:46.400 --> 00:47:47.119
You know what I'm saying?
00:47:47.199 --> 00:47:48.880
Like that's a conflict on what to choose.
00:47:49.119 --> 00:47:52.639
We eating pasta today, or we eating rice.
00:47:52.719 --> 00:47:53.519
That's a conflict.
00:47:53.679 --> 00:48:01.440
And conflicts aren't negative unless you start to deal with them through negative practices and negative behavior, right?
00:48:02.480 --> 00:48:11.760
A conflict will escalate through unhealthy reactions and actions within that conflict, right?
00:48:12.079 --> 00:48:18.079
We gotta learn to know that a conflict means that we just have different points of views.
00:48:18.320 --> 00:48:21.679
We have different wants, we have different likes.
00:48:22.639 --> 00:48:23.199
All right?
00:48:23.440 --> 00:48:26.960
I'm a super fan, huge fan of Styles P.
00:48:27.440 --> 00:48:29.119
That's my number one MC.
00:48:29.199 --> 00:48:30.639
You may think he's number seven.
00:48:30.800 --> 00:48:32.159
Am I gonna argue with you?
00:48:32.320 --> 00:48:32.559
No.
00:48:32.719 --> 00:48:34.960
Am I gonna say you're out your fucking mind?
00:48:35.199 --> 00:48:35.920
Probably.
00:48:36.159 --> 00:48:37.679
But should you be mad about that?
00:48:37.760 --> 00:48:39.920
Nah, because that's just my opinion.
00:48:40.000 --> 00:48:41.119
That's my viewpoint.
00:48:41.280 --> 00:48:51.360
And I ain't forcing it on you, but I'm just generally speaking and showing you and giving you an example that, you know, very much a fan, right?
00:48:52.159 --> 00:48:55.519
I really know about this guy, I done followed him for the longest.
00:48:55.679 --> 00:48:56.559
You know what I'm saying?
00:48:56.719 --> 00:48:58.880
I love how he carries himself.
00:48:59.280 --> 00:49:00.000
You know what I mean?
00:49:00.079 --> 00:49:10.320
I love how he respects the community, and I love how he's he has changed himself for himself, right?
00:49:14.239 --> 00:49:16.639
And that's incredible, right?
00:49:17.440 --> 00:49:29.599
Being being in a place where you're conditioned and programmed to be a certain way, and then to be able to heal and transform yourself is incredible.
00:49:30.079 --> 00:49:32.559
Styles P did it, is doing it.
00:49:32.800 --> 00:49:36.719
The locks are doing it as a whole, Nipsey did it.
00:49:39.199 --> 00:49:39.760
Right?
00:49:40.719 --> 00:49:44.880
Martin Luther King did it, but part himself, Malcolm X did it.
00:49:46.480 --> 00:49:47.119
Right.
00:49:49.840 --> 00:50:19.679
So as long as you have the opportunity to experience another day, which I call an experience, then you have every opportunity to change and or enhance your experience upon itself your life however you want to, or in whatever area you need to.
00:50:33.840 --> 00:50:46.159
How you govern yourself, how you act, you know, your ways, your movements reflect who you are and what you are.
00:50:47.679 --> 00:50:49.039
No one's perfect, yeah.
00:50:49.119 --> 00:50:51.280
Even the calmest person gets upset.
00:50:53.280 --> 00:50:58.639
But even the wildest person is able to be calm.
00:50:58.800 --> 00:50:59.119
Alright?
00:50:59.679 --> 00:51:01.119
There's polarities to it.
00:51:04.000 --> 00:51:11.199
So there's nothing you can't do unless you're saying you can't do it.
00:51:12.079 --> 00:51:12.320
Right?
00:51:12.480 --> 00:51:17.280
And anything you set your mind to do, you can do it.
00:51:20.239 --> 00:51:37.840
You can program yourself into speaking a certain way, acting a certain way, and just being who you want to be.
00:51:39.679 --> 00:51:41.360
It's solely up to you.
00:51:43.280 --> 00:51:43.760
Right?
00:51:44.000 --> 00:51:53.599
But possessing a code of conduct, you know, speaks to your ethics, it speaks to your standards.
00:51:54.159 --> 00:52:11.519
Because having a code of conduct is possessing ethical standards, values, you know what I'm saying, and operating improper behavior internally and externally.
00:52:12.719 --> 00:52:34.960
And people think that just because they may not, you know, be out here killing or robbing and stealing, that that means they don't have to work on their conduct or that you know they're moving properly ethically.
00:52:35.679 --> 00:52:37.840
That doesn't mean that either.
00:52:50.320 --> 00:53:04.559
Whether it be how you speak to people when you're upset, to the store clerk, to the person that you know held the door open for you and you walked out and didn't say thank you, or held the door for you to walk in and you didn't say thank you.
00:53:04.719 --> 00:53:06.320
You just felt obligated.
00:53:06.559 --> 00:53:07.840
You know what I'm saying?
00:53:08.800 --> 00:53:10.960
Oh, yeah, this person was supposed to hold the door.
00:53:11.039 --> 00:53:20.639
Or they they was in front of me, so yeah, nah, but you know, that person was just having empathy for someone, knowing someone is walking behind me, I hold the door for them.
00:53:21.280 --> 00:53:22.800
You know what I'm saying?
00:53:24.239 --> 00:53:27.280
Not taking everything personal that people do.
00:53:28.400 --> 00:53:28.800
Right?
00:53:29.039 --> 00:53:36.880
And sometimes people are going through things that they're unable to channel properly in a healthy fashion.
00:53:36.960 --> 00:53:40.800
So they lash out, they say things, they do things, right?
00:53:41.119 --> 00:53:58.159
But you possessing an internal code of conduct and you establishing a law to govern yourself and master yourself and not allow the external to shift or move your internal, right?
00:54:01.920 --> 00:54:05.519
You will prevent yourself from dealing with certain things, right?
00:54:06.320 --> 00:54:14.880
Keep yourself out of the way and keep yourself from you know exerting energy that's unnecessary, right?
00:54:15.119 --> 00:54:22.079
You prevent yourself from being angry because you know that this is just what it is, right?
00:54:23.119 --> 00:54:29.599
People, some people don't have a code of conduct, they don't know how to conduct themselves, you know what I'm saying?
00:54:30.000 --> 00:54:40.800
So having that understanding, having that empathy, which is uh one pillar of emotional intelligence, you'll have that that proper understanding, right?
00:54:40.960 --> 00:54:44.960
That you can't control people, but you can control yourself, right?
00:54:45.119 --> 00:54:51.199
You can control how you react to people that lack a code of conduct, right?
00:54:52.400 --> 00:54:56.079
Because that will prevent a conflict.
00:54:57.599 --> 00:54:58.480
You know what I'm saying?
00:54:58.559 --> 00:55:06.800
That will prevent a fight, or a tragic situation.
00:55:09.039 --> 00:55:09.360
Right?
00:55:09.519 --> 00:55:16.320
Possessing a code shows you respect and value yourself internally, externally.
00:55:16.639 --> 00:55:23.280
You value those in the world, you value the world, the universe, the trees, the grass, right?
00:55:23.360 --> 00:55:24.800
You're not littering.
00:55:26.320 --> 00:55:27.440
You know what I'm saying?
00:55:27.679 --> 00:55:28.960
A lot of us do that.
00:55:29.119 --> 00:55:33.599
Just throw some shit right out the window driving, or we walking and eating, and just drop the shit.
00:55:33.679 --> 00:55:42.800
Sometimes, yeah, we in areas where there's not a receptacle around trash can or you know, whatever where we can dispose of our trash.
00:55:43.119 --> 00:55:46.000
But that doesn't mean at least wait and try.
00:55:46.079 --> 00:55:51.119
Like if it's something, you know, you can just put in your pocket right quick, put it in your pocket.
00:55:51.280 --> 00:55:51.840
You know what I'm saying?
00:55:52.079 --> 00:55:56.159
Even if it's a bag of chips, a candy package or something, don't you know what I mean?
00:55:56.320 --> 00:56:01.039
A couple crumbs won't hurt, flip your pocket inside out, boom, crumbs is out.
00:56:01.599 --> 00:56:02.559
You know what I mean?
00:56:02.719 --> 00:56:13.840
Like, we're just so quick to like be chaotic in an environment that's not chaotic to us.
00:56:14.000 --> 00:56:19.039
And I mean, as far as nature is concerned, nature ain't do nothing to nobody.
00:56:19.280 --> 00:56:25.199
Nature is governing itself in its most natural and purest form.
00:56:25.280 --> 00:56:30.639
So anything that happens in nature, it's happening for a reason, meaning it's supposed to happen.
00:56:30.880 --> 00:56:39.440
And anytime any one of us as beings interrupt the universe, we're gonna have consequences, right?
00:56:39.599 --> 00:56:41.840
We don't govern ourselves accordingly, right?
00:56:41.920 --> 00:56:45.360
So when we litter a lot, that fills up the drain systems.
00:56:45.440 --> 00:56:47.280
So we have overflowing when it rains.
00:56:47.440 --> 00:56:48.639
You know what I'm saying?
00:56:48.960 --> 00:56:50.719
But we need the rain for what?
00:56:50.960 --> 00:57:03.920
To water our plants, the crops, for food, to keep, you know, the oxygen correct, you know, for heavy tree areas, you know, it gives off CO, you know, it gives off oxygen and things like that.
00:57:04.079 --> 00:57:12.159
So taking care of nature, you know, is reflects your code of conduct, right?
00:57:12.480 --> 00:57:13.760
Or lack thereof.
00:57:14.000 --> 00:57:16.480
How you govern yourself within nature.
00:57:17.199 --> 00:57:18.800
All right, are you preserving water?
00:57:18.880 --> 00:57:22.159
You just running water all day, all right?
00:57:22.559 --> 00:57:32.239
You littering, killing ants and you know, insects and animals, all right?
00:57:32.480 --> 00:57:37.599
I know sometimes insects and things like that may crawl on us, we gotta kill them.
00:57:37.679 --> 00:57:38.239
I get it.
00:57:38.400 --> 00:57:40.079
Spiders and things like that.
00:57:40.159 --> 00:57:46.800
But if that thing is not literally attacking you on you, let it ride.
00:57:48.320 --> 00:57:49.199
You know what I'm saying?
00:57:49.360 --> 00:57:56.800
Stop shooting squirrels and skunks and opossums and whatever else be creeping around.
00:57:57.119 --> 00:58:01.840
Raccoons, birds, you know what I mean?
00:58:02.000 --> 00:58:03.519
Let them live, man.
00:58:04.400 --> 00:58:08.320
Use your BB guns on things that are non-living.
00:58:10.000 --> 00:58:12.320
Because all of this reflects your code of conduct.
00:58:12.480 --> 00:58:17.199
You may think, oh nah, this, nah, it's just, it's just uh, nah.
00:58:17.840 --> 00:58:26.000
When you have to say it's just to me, I feel like you're justifying something you did wrong.
00:58:26.320 --> 00:58:29.199
And you know it's wrong, because you're trying to justify it.
00:58:29.760 --> 00:58:31.840
Simple and plain, you know what I mean?
00:58:32.559 --> 00:58:36.400
So learn how to live and let live.
00:58:37.199 --> 00:58:43.440
All right, that's an example of proper code of conduct.
00:58:43.599 --> 00:58:44.559
You know what I mean?
00:58:44.719 --> 00:58:56.559
If no one is bothering you to the point where your life is at stake, move around, don't exchange words with them, don't antagonize them.
00:58:57.360 --> 00:59:05.920
Because they're gonna take themselves out and not literally like take their own life, but you know, you can't argue with yourself.
00:59:06.159 --> 00:59:08.400
Arguments usually take two people.
00:59:10.159 --> 00:59:25.519
So be mindful that you don't have to engage in everything that comes your way, everything that strikes, you know, your nerve, everything that that bothers you, you know what I'm saying?
00:59:25.679 --> 00:59:28.960
Everything you don't feel or understand.
00:59:29.119 --> 00:59:38.719
Like it's not, you know, sometimes it's just meant for you to be there to witness and experience, and maybe you'll understand later.
00:59:38.960 --> 00:59:40.719
Maybe you'll get it later.
00:59:41.440 --> 00:59:42.079
All right.
00:59:43.360 --> 00:59:46.079
Trust, whatever's meant to happen will happen.
00:59:47.599 --> 00:59:51.440
What hasn't happened, don't worry about it.
00:59:52.000 --> 00:59:52.400
Right?
00:59:52.480 --> 01:00:01.360
And just know that you're in control of how you govern yourself based upon what happens, what's said.
01:00:02.239 --> 01:00:02.800
Right?
01:00:04.800 --> 01:00:14.000
You have the right to create your own code of conduct based upon how you choose to live your life.
01:00:14.400 --> 01:00:22.159
So ask yourself Do you have a proper code of conduct or an unproper code of conduct?
01:00:23.280 --> 01:00:41.039
Either way, you can make a change for the better if it's not benefiting you in being the best for you, for you to become your best.
01:00:44.719 --> 01:00:46.960
So stand on code, y'all.
01:00:49.360 --> 01:01:01.280
My code is to operate in peace, love, and light with freedom, justice, equality, right, and balance.

00:00:58.159 --> 00:01:00.079
Grateful to be in existence.
00:01:00.320 --> 00:01:02.640

Because your energy vibrates on a frequency world.

Sun, moon, and stars, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.
00:01:29.519 --> 00:01:30.959
The divine trinity.
00:01:31.359 --> 00:01:32.719
Peace to y'all.
00:01:34.319 --> 00:01:37.040

00:01:59.280 --> 00:02:00.799
It's very informative.
00:02:02.000 --> 00:02:06.000
Go check out episode 16, Fatherhood.
00:02:06.159 --> 00:02:16.000
Go check out episode 15, Brotherhood, part two, and go check out Episode 14, Sisterhood, part one.
00:02:16.319 --> 00:02:27.840
Well, shout out to Queen Sahara, the wisdom, and my sister, God Sis, Queen Magnificent.
00:02:27.919 --> 00:02:30.080
Shout out to you, and shout out to Rich Auntie.
00:02:30.240 --> 00:02:36.319
Well peace to everybody striving for peace.
00:02:36.479 --> 00:02:39.199
Peace to those striving for righteousness.
00:02:40.560 --> 00:02:47.360
And I know when you hear righteousness, you think religion, you think holy, and things like that.
00:02:47.759 --> 00:02:50.080
It just means do what you know is right.
00:02:50.719 --> 00:02:51.120
Right?
00:02:51.280 --> 00:02:59.919
The like the the easiest form and the easiest, you know, way to understand righteous, right?
00:03:00.240 --> 00:03:03.120
The first what, five letters of righteous is right.
00:03:03.360 --> 00:03:04.639
R-I-G-H-T.
00:03:04.879 --> 00:03:13.360
So don't just make the right decisions according to what you know is right and what you feel is right.
00:03:14.000 --> 00:03:15.520
Let's talk about it real quick.
00:03:15.759 --> 00:03:22.479
See, what you know and feel sometimes will correlate, and sometimes there'll be total opposites, right?
00:03:23.120 --> 00:03:31.039
Knowing you should do something and how you feel and how you react to how you feel is two different things.
00:03:31.919 --> 00:03:38.240
So knowing that something is what it is, that's logic.
00:03:38.560 --> 00:03:43.039
But you may not like how that feels.
00:03:43.199 --> 00:03:51.840
You may not like, you know, what you know, but that doesn't mean that it's not true, right?
00:03:52.400 --> 00:03:56.960
And you not liking it doesn't mean that's a problem, also.
00:03:57.360 --> 00:03:58.319
You feel me?
00:03:58.960 --> 00:04:00.800
I think we're so programmed.
00:04:01.280 --> 00:04:24.160
Again, go check out episode 17 to always want to feel good and not respect and accept things that do happen that are out of our control, and just, you know, be able to accept it just for what it is and it not, you know, affect how we feel.
00:04:24.399 --> 00:04:25.199
You know what I mean?
00:04:25.279 --> 00:04:30.639
Like everything is not meant to affect how you feel, it's really just information.
00:04:30.800 --> 00:04:31.759
Life, right?
00:04:31.920 --> 00:04:36.560
To me, the acronym for life is live information for education, right?
00:04:36.720 --> 00:04:40.720
So lessons are just information to help you better yourself.
00:04:40.800 --> 00:04:41.600
You know what I mean?
00:04:41.759 --> 00:04:45.680
You're gonna feel some type of way towards anything, right?
00:04:46.000 --> 00:04:57.680
If you're not practicing emotional intelligence or even know what emotional intelligence is, because that's what helps you manage your feelings properly.
00:04:58.240 --> 00:04:59.439
You feel what I'm saying?
00:04:59.680 --> 00:05:11.600
But when you're in alignment with yourself, mind, body, and spirit, what you know, right, is what you feel, and your feeling is a way of knowing, right?
00:05:12.000 --> 00:05:14.079
Because your feeling is intuitive.
00:05:14.240 --> 00:05:17.759
Feelings, you know, the interpretations of your emotions.
00:05:17.839 --> 00:05:27.519
So if you're in tune with yourself and possess emotional intelligence, you're able to interpret your feelings based upon your emotions, right?
00:05:30.079 --> 00:05:34.959
So, yeah, let's get into this season two, episode 18, y'all.
00:05:35.199 --> 00:05:36.639
Code of conduct.
00:05:36.879 --> 00:05:38.160
Now, what's code of conduct?
00:05:38.319 --> 00:05:51.439
Code of conduct is a formal set of rules and values that outlines the proper behavior, responsibilities, and ethical standards expected from members of an organization or group.
00:05:52.000 --> 00:05:58.160
And a group, in a sense, would be an example of a community.
00:05:58.319 --> 00:06:06.160
That's a group of people that live in a common place, in a common area that deal with common issues.
00:06:07.360 --> 00:06:08.000
Right.
00:06:09.360 --> 00:06:19.439
And in order for our community to thrive, right, not only survive but thrive, it must be governed by a code of conduct, right?
00:06:20.000 --> 00:06:28.079
The community as a whole, and each individual within that community should have a code of conduct.
00:06:28.319 --> 00:06:34.560
They should have a code that they stick to, you know, like the code of the streets to not snitch.
00:06:34.639 --> 00:06:42.160
But if you're not in the streets, running in the streets, a part of the streets, indulging in street activity, you're a pedestrian.
00:06:42.399 --> 00:06:43.920
It's not snitching.
00:06:44.079 --> 00:06:46.079
You're doing what citizens do.
00:06:46.240 --> 00:06:48.319
You're doing what a pedestrian does.
00:06:48.560 --> 00:06:57.600
Gangsters, people that sign up to run the streets, be in the streets, and participate in street activity shouldn't snitch.
00:06:57.759 --> 00:07:03.759
In other words, if they tell, that's what a snitch would be.
00:07:04.000 --> 00:07:05.920
Not just anyone telling, right?
00:07:06.079 --> 00:07:15.439
Because if you're down andor co-signing, you know, certain activity, and then you get caught, and then you start telling, you're a fraud.
00:07:15.600 --> 00:07:25.360
Clearly, you knew what the consequences were, but you wasn't strong enough mentally to endure the consequences.
00:07:25.839 --> 00:07:26.959
Feel what I'm saying?
00:07:27.199 --> 00:07:32.399
Those are wannabes, those fakes, frauds, whatever you want to call them.
00:07:32.480 --> 00:07:33.600
You know what I mean?
00:07:34.000 --> 00:07:36.240
They definitely not moving right and exact.
00:07:36.319 --> 00:07:40.160
They're definitely not moving righteous, you know what I'm saying?
00:07:40.240 --> 00:07:47.839
Like, because right or wrong, you're gonna stand on what you did and what you said, and the consequences from what you did and what you said.
00:07:48.160 --> 00:07:49.040
Feel me?
00:07:50.000 --> 00:07:52.160
So let's get that correct.
00:07:52.319 --> 00:07:53.600
Shout out to Styles P.
00:07:53.759 --> 00:08:09.279
He was like the first one for me to witness to break down the you know, the cold to the street as far as no snitching and what's considered snitching, and just that and a third.
00:08:09.600 --> 00:08:11.120
It makes perfect sense.
00:08:11.360 --> 00:08:12.560
And you know what I'm saying?
00:08:12.639 --> 00:08:13.439
I cosign.
00:08:13.680 --> 00:08:14.240
You know what I mean?
00:08:14.319 --> 00:08:27.439
Like I said, you're a civilian, you're not cosigning street activity or participating, you telling or giving information about a crime is just what you're supposed to do.
00:08:27.920 --> 00:08:30.399
I mean, and if you choose not to, that's cool too.
00:08:30.560 --> 00:08:34.159
But that's what regular everyday citizens do.
00:08:34.480 --> 00:08:39.519
They see a crime, they see something happening, they're gonna call and tell somebody.
00:08:39.759 --> 00:08:41.279
You know what I'm saying?
00:08:41.519 --> 00:08:45.840
Preferably law enforcement, so the situation can be handled, right?
00:08:46.000 --> 00:09:04.799
So those gangsters out there that claim they live by a code and want to sell all these drugs, shoot the neighborhood up and all like that, but tell on the next alleged gangster because you got caught up and can't face your consequences, you know what I'm saying?
00:09:04.879 --> 00:09:06.159
You whack for that.
00:09:06.879 --> 00:09:10.639
You're not a G at all, yo.
00:09:11.279 --> 00:09:14.960
So you have to have a cold, you know what I mean?
00:09:15.120 --> 00:09:17.600
Um, and not any cold.
00:09:18.159 --> 00:09:18.960
You know what I mean?
00:09:19.200 --> 00:09:22.960
You know, like the saying, all money ain't good money.
00:09:23.120 --> 00:09:23.919
True indeed.
00:09:24.000 --> 00:09:38.320
When everything possesses an energy, you know what I mean, whether it's money, whether, you know, even our clothing, everything vibrates on a frequency.
00:09:38.799 --> 00:09:46.960
All right, so the the neighborhood, the hood, the culture has no code.
00:09:47.279 --> 00:09:51.039
We run around with no rules, unruly, right?
00:09:51.919 --> 00:10:03.039
We don't value ourselves because we don't we don't show improved proper behavior or responsibilities or ethical standards.
00:10:03.200 --> 00:10:05.519
We just run around doing whatever.
00:10:05.919 --> 00:10:08.240
For the males, some of us.
00:10:08.399 --> 00:10:13.600
Our pants be sagging, drawers hanging out, you know what I'm saying?
00:10:15.039 --> 00:10:18.080
You're cussing, you're using found language, you know what I'm saying?
00:10:18.240 --> 00:10:23.200
Around elders, around children, you know what I'm saying, or even just around other adults, you know what I mean?
00:10:23.279 --> 00:10:24.399
It's it's a time and a place.
00:10:24.480 --> 00:10:32.159
It literally is a space and time to where, you know, you can conduct yourself in a certain type of manner, right?
00:10:32.480 --> 00:10:34.799
But that's if you have a cult, right?
00:10:35.679 --> 00:10:42.320
Um but so quick to roll up some weed wherever we at nowadays.
00:10:42.399 --> 00:10:50.240
Now, you know, I'm in I'm in New York State and it's legal where it's legal, and it's other states that it's legal, and some states is still illegal.
00:10:50.480 --> 00:10:56.240
But you know, everybody just is just wants to flaunt that they smoke.
00:10:56.399 --> 00:11:04.240
Like, we outside, everybody got the biggest blunt road, the biggest A Bob Molly road, like you know what I'm saying?
00:11:04.320 --> 00:11:09.519
Like the biggest rap road, the biggest backwards road, like less is more.
00:11:09.759 --> 00:11:11.200
Y'all don't even get it.
00:11:11.440 --> 00:11:20.080
And if the weed you blowing is top-notch or top tier, or you know, official, then why would you have to roll so much?
00:11:20.480 --> 00:11:21.600
Think about that.
00:11:22.720 --> 00:11:28.960
Like if it's if it's legit and it's fire, it's high grade, then you don't gotta roll that much.
00:11:29.200 --> 00:11:31.519
Something else Styles P put me on, too.
00:11:31.759 --> 00:11:32.960
Rolling skinnies.
00:11:33.200 --> 00:11:38.080
Shout out to Styles P and shout out to Strain Gang, his cannabis company.
00:11:38.240 --> 00:11:45.600
Shout out to the partners and everybody that, you know, um collaborated with him and bringing that into fruition.
00:11:45.840 --> 00:11:48.000
Shout out to Jewish Styles, his wife.
00:11:48.159 --> 00:11:50.559
Shout out to Noah Styles, his son.
00:11:50.720 --> 00:11:51.440
Word up.
00:11:51.519 --> 00:11:52.639
Shout out to the locks.
00:11:53.919 --> 00:11:57.279
You know what I mean, representing brotherhood for real.
00:11:57.519 --> 00:11:58.080
Word up.
00:11:58.240 --> 00:12:03.200
We'll check out episode 16, calling self 15, brotherhood.
00:12:03.600 --> 00:12:04.639
You know what I mean?
00:12:04.879 --> 00:12:13.840
Those brothers definitely emulate the positive attributes of, you know, spoke of on that episode.
00:12:14.000 --> 00:12:17.120
Or but yeah, less is more.
00:12:17.200 --> 00:12:22.000
If you, you know, if it's it's a if it's official, you don't need that much, man.
00:12:22.159 --> 00:12:22.960
You know what I mean?
00:12:23.120 --> 00:12:32.240
Just like if you're an official person, you don't need the labels, you don't need jewelry, you don't really need nothing to be, to exist, to be seen, to be heard.
00:12:32.559 --> 00:12:36.000
You just exist and you are seen.
00:12:36.159 --> 00:12:37.679
You are heard, you're acknowledged.
00:12:37.759 --> 00:12:38.559
You know what I'm saying?
00:12:38.720 --> 00:12:40.159
Saluted, respected.
00:12:40.399 --> 00:12:41.759
You know what I mean?
00:12:42.080 --> 00:12:48.399
But because that's because you have that hot energy within you that people can feel and admit that you move with, right?
00:12:48.480 --> 00:12:56.000
You have a code of conduct, you conduct yourself in a specific way, you value yourself, you're responsible, you have standards, right?
00:12:57.120 --> 00:13:02.240
You try to govern yourself accordingly to the best of your ability.
00:13:02.480 --> 00:13:03.600
You feel what I'm saying?
00:13:03.759 --> 00:13:06.879
And respecting your words, you know what I'm saying?
00:13:07.039 --> 00:13:15.519
Being respectful with your ways and your actions as well, within yourself as well as those around you and in the world, period.
00:13:15.759 --> 00:13:17.279
You feel what I'm saying?
00:13:19.039 --> 00:13:20.720
Us men, we don't have a cold.
00:13:20.799 --> 00:13:25.279
We, you know, some of us, man, we like to sleep around, you know what I mean?
00:13:25.759 --> 00:13:38.399
Or we like to cuff a woman and then not be honest about other women we're interested in, want to date, are dating, or, you know, all the above.
00:13:38.639 --> 00:13:39.200
You know what I mean?
00:13:39.279 --> 00:13:40.480
There's no cold in that.
00:13:40.879 --> 00:13:41.600
You know what I'm saying?
00:13:41.679 --> 00:13:45.200
You don't you clearly don't value yourself to be true.
00:13:45.759 --> 00:13:53.039
Like, because you don't, you know, value the relationships you have, and in particular with a woman, as I just stated.
00:13:53.120 --> 00:13:53.679
You know what I mean?
00:13:53.759 --> 00:13:54.960
You're not being honest.
00:13:55.120 --> 00:13:59.840
And if you were, you know what I mean, that would show that you value yourself.
00:14:00.000 --> 00:14:00.879
You value her.
00:14:01.039 --> 00:14:02.000
You know what I'm saying?
00:14:02.159 --> 00:14:09.360
You have a responsibility to, you know, conduct yourself in a pacific manner, you know what I'm saying?
00:14:10.879 --> 00:14:13.759
And govern yourself accordingly, right?
00:14:15.279 --> 00:14:17.279
And some of us don't have standards.
00:14:17.440 --> 00:14:24.399
We'll do anything, we'll say anything, we'll wear anything, we'll date anything.
00:14:26.240 --> 00:14:28.240
And beauty's in the eye of beholding.
00:14:28.399 --> 00:14:33.840
I'm not saying surface level, you know, the person, you know, how the person looks.
00:14:33.919 --> 00:14:37.200
I never even said anything about, you know, their looks.
00:14:37.440 --> 00:14:52.559
Just saying anything in a sense, being funny but sarcastic in reference to, you know, just dealing with a person that doesn't have a code of conduct, dealing with a person that doesn't conduct themselves and doesn't care how they act.
00:14:52.720 --> 00:14:53.519
You know what I'm saying?
00:14:53.679 --> 00:14:58.960
And they don't, you know, value themselves enough to hold themselves to a standard.
00:14:59.120 --> 00:14:59.840
You know what I'm saying?
00:14:59.919 --> 00:15:03.279
And be responsible for their words, their ways, and their actions.
00:15:03.360 --> 00:15:08.000
And whether you want to be or not, you will be responsible somehow, some way.
00:15:08.559 --> 00:15:09.039
All right.
00:15:12.000 --> 00:15:19.759
Us kings like to drink away our pain, smoke away our pain, things like that.
00:15:19.919 --> 00:15:24.960
You know, some of us don't like to talk and speak about how we feel.
00:15:25.120 --> 00:15:33.840
Nevertheless, we're still gonna feel, we're still going to, you know, go through things, we're gonna experience things, and it's how we perceive them.
00:15:34.080 --> 00:15:43.679
It's how we'll, you know, determine how we um resolve the issue.
00:15:45.039 --> 00:15:54.399
You know, mend, reconcile, refine, rectify, you know what I'm saying, the situation.
00:15:58.080 --> 00:16:10.559
And as kings, we also don't like to handle conflict, you know, maturely.
00:16:11.519 --> 00:16:12.960
You know what I'm saying?
00:16:13.759 --> 00:16:17.039
With responsibility and some type of standard.
00:16:17.200 --> 00:16:23.120
Like everything is not an argument, a fight, a stabbing, or a shootout.
00:16:23.679 --> 00:16:27.519
All right, those, you know, people that do that, they lack the code of conduct.
00:16:27.759 --> 00:16:30.399
They don't value themselves, they don't value life.
00:16:30.639 --> 00:16:34.399
So if they don't value themselves, they don't value their life, they don't value life.
00:16:34.559 --> 00:16:36.399
As within, so without.
00:16:36.960 --> 00:16:56.480
So what you value will reveal itself on the choices you make, the things you say, the things you do, people you around, people you you befriend, the people you date, including your family, the type of family members you, you know, you end up connecting with, aligning with.
00:16:56.639 --> 00:16:59.600
That all determines who you are internally.
00:16:59.679 --> 00:17:00.720
If you have values.
00:17:00.879 --> 00:17:06.720
If you have values, you'll you know, connect with people that also have values, you know what I'm saying?
00:17:07.039 --> 00:17:19.680
And you know, choose to live their life, you know, from a higher standard properly, you know what I'm saying?
00:17:19.839 --> 00:17:38.640
And you know, being responsible for their behavior, you know what I mean, and keeping themselves at a higher standard, regardless of you know what others may do or what societal norms are trending, right?
00:17:40.319 --> 00:18:27.200
00:18:27.279 --> 00:18:35.759
And if they stop doing what they're doing for you, you won't end up connecting with them anymore.
00:18:35.839 --> 00:18:36.559
You know what I'm saying?
00:18:36.640 --> 00:18:42.079
You end up not even, you know, being in this person's life.
00:18:42.319 --> 00:18:47.680
So, you know, you have to know who is who and what they are.
00:18:48.240 --> 00:18:48.799
Right?
00:18:50.000 --> 00:18:51.440
And who they're not.
00:18:51.839 --> 00:19:05.200
Speaking with the wisdom a few experiences ago on, you know, in general, I feel like people think they know that who they are or know who they are, but they don't know who they're not.
00:19:05.920 --> 00:19:06.480
Right.
00:19:07.279 --> 00:19:28.559
So a college student, PhD, you know, aiming for a very um important career in medicine or being a lawyer and things like that.
00:19:30.480 --> 00:19:32.720
Or anything that's important to them.
00:19:33.599 --> 00:19:34.240
Right?
00:19:36.240 --> 00:19:48.319
It's a it's a code, you know, you still have to govern yourself by, regardless of what you you take on in life, you know what I'm saying?
00:19:48.480 --> 00:19:49.839
What you want to be in life.
00:19:50.000 --> 00:19:51.359
That doesn't matter.
00:19:51.599 --> 00:19:53.039
You know what I mean?
00:19:53.599 --> 00:20:17.279
So my point is a person that is after a life, you know, that they're literally constructing piece by piece, wouldn't be hanging out late nights on a drug set, meaning a drug block where they serve a certain drug.
00:20:18.400 --> 00:20:20.000
They won't be out there.
00:20:20.720 --> 00:20:21.519
You know what I'm saying?
00:20:21.599 --> 00:20:30.559
They're not gonna be putting themselves in positions that is not conducive to what they're creating in their life.
00:20:30.880 --> 00:20:43.680
And now the person on that drug block or that drug set, you won't really catch them, you know, in the library, you know what I'm saying?
00:20:44.720 --> 00:20:51.680
Trying to, you know, better themselves in any type of way.
00:20:52.640 --> 00:20:53.279
Right?
00:20:54.480 --> 00:20:58.720
You won't catch them, you know.
00:21:00.480 --> 00:21:10.400
But it's not, I mean, I'm not saying a hundred percent that people don't indulge in opposites, because people do, right?
00:21:10.480 --> 00:21:15.519
Because the most sadistic people could end up being a religious person.
00:21:15.599 --> 00:21:16.319
You feel what I'm saying?
00:21:16.480 --> 00:21:28.160
Motherfuckers is devils Monday through Saturday, club is Friday and Saturday, party is Friday and Saturday, but Sunday's best on Sunday.
00:21:28.400 --> 00:21:28.720
Nah.
00:21:28.880 --> 00:21:30.880
You're a fraud, you don't have no code.
00:21:31.279 --> 00:21:32.799
Playing both sides of the fence.
00:21:32.880 --> 00:21:33.680
You know what I'm saying?
00:21:33.839 --> 00:21:36.160
So it's like it's literally either one or the other.
00:21:36.319 --> 00:21:38.400
You playing the block, right?
00:21:39.039 --> 00:21:43.759
Or you planning a positive lifestyle for yourself, right?
00:21:44.000 --> 00:21:59.759
You're planning a positive lifestyle for yourself, or creating a positive lifestyle for yourself, or you play in the streets and you know, playing with your livelihood, you're playing with your freedom through how you.
00:22:00.160 --> 00:22:01.440
Conduct yourself.
00:22:01.839 --> 00:22:08.880
It's exactly what you're doing when you don't conduct yourself in an orderly fashion.
00:22:09.680 --> 00:22:10.640
Alright.
00:22:14.720 --> 00:22:20.400
We always at times the culture wants to be seen and heard.
00:22:20.799 --> 00:22:37.440
So, you know, when we do have conflicts, we're loud, we're cursing, you know, we're trying, it's like we do everything in our power to degrade the person versus focusing on the solution to the problem.
00:22:38.000 --> 00:22:40.480
And that's what that's that's what happens.
00:22:40.720 --> 00:22:50.720
That's how beef is created, animosity is created through not being able to correctly solve problems, right?
00:22:50.960 --> 00:23:16.160
And solving a problem doesn't happen by screaming and yelling at each other, it doesn't happen by judging each other, it happens by you researching what's the problem, doing the knowledge to the problem, being honest about what part you played in it, and you know, move on from it, apologize and keep it moving.
00:23:16.319 --> 00:23:20.160
And we know that change behavior is the truest apology.
00:23:20.240 --> 00:23:29.279
So do your best to govern yourself accordingly around this person, or when you're not around this person, and if you can, just stay from around the person.
00:23:29.359 --> 00:23:30.160
You know what I mean?
00:23:30.480 --> 00:23:36.319
Do what's right in the situation, as I spoke of righteousness.
00:23:36.559 --> 00:23:41.440
Doesn't mean perfect, it doesn't mean holy, it just means you're doing what you know is right.
00:23:41.519 --> 00:23:57.039
And when you do what you know is right, then you keep yourself out of problems, you keep yourself out of penalties, issues, consequences, you know what I'm saying, that you know will take from you.
00:23:57.599 --> 00:23:58.559
You know what I mean?
00:23:58.720 --> 00:24:10.640
So in some form or fashion, whether it be energy, whether it be money, whether you know it be heartache, which is energy too, you know what I'm saying?
00:24:11.519 --> 00:24:19.200
Um stress, anxiety, depression, like things like that.
00:24:19.440 --> 00:24:25.920
So let's talk about what includes, what's included in the code of conduct, right?
00:24:26.799 --> 00:24:37.440
Number one, the core values of the code of conduct is pretty much the guide and omission and principles of the group.
00:24:38.480 --> 00:24:38.880
Right?
00:24:38.960 --> 00:24:51.119
So the code of conduct and core values of the community should be to be humble, support each other, respect each other, right?
00:24:52.720 --> 00:25:01.119
And do the best we can as community members to keep our neighborhoods safe and keep them clean.
00:25:01.279 --> 00:25:02.160
You know what I'm saying?
00:25:02.319 --> 00:25:04.720
Respect the neighborhood, respect each other.
00:25:05.200 --> 00:25:08.240
All right, that will be an example of a core value, right?
00:25:09.599 --> 00:25:16.000
The second thing that's included in the code of conduct is behavioral rules, right?
00:25:16.160 --> 00:25:23.920
Specific guidelines on how people should treat one another with respect, with love, with understanding, with patience, right?
00:25:24.160 --> 00:25:28.319
Knowing that you probably going through the same thing, but I just deal with it differently.
00:25:28.400 --> 00:25:31.920
Or I'm going through something that you never went through, right?
00:25:32.400 --> 00:25:39.839
But having that understanding will always aid in mending any situation, right?
00:25:40.000 --> 00:25:44.400
And some situations may end where no one is verbal, no one's talking anymore.
00:25:44.640 --> 00:25:45.599
But that's cool.
00:25:45.839 --> 00:25:54.880
But as long as you have an understanding, you know, you shouldn't have any more problems moving forward, is the point.
00:25:55.519 --> 00:25:55.920
Right?
00:25:56.000 --> 00:25:59.519
So understanding is accepting things as they are, not what they appear to be.
00:25:59.599 --> 00:26:23.359
So I'm gonna accept the fact that um you're not the person you said you were, part of respect the person, you know, you say you are, take it for what it is.
00:26:23.519 --> 00:26:32.079
But if it doesn't align with who I truly think you are or who you say you are, then I might have to fall back.
00:26:32.640 --> 00:26:33.279
Right?
00:26:33.599 --> 00:26:38.960
And that doesn't make me better than you, that doesn't mean something's wrong with you, right?
00:26:39.599 --> 00:26:46.079
Doesn't make me perfect, but it just means that there's a disconnection in our relationship.
00:26:46.319 --> 00:26:52.240
We don't have a connection, so why should we continue to try to connect with each other?
00:26:52.480 --> 00:27:12.559
All right, it's like we force ourselves in relationships and force people to have relationships with us because we're not being honest, you know what I'm saying, with what the person is showing us as far as how they treat us.
00:27:13.200 --> 00:27:26.079
Number three, the third thing included in the code of conduct is sometimes legal compliance, instructions to follow laws and avoid legal actions.
00:27:26.240 --> 00:27:27.039
You know what I mean?
00:27:27.759 --> 00:28:19.200
00:28:22.480 --> 00:28:34.319
Having a code of conduct in simple terms is just keeping you out of the eyes of the law, keeping you from going to court andor jail, right?
00:28:35.599 --> 00:28:43.599
And you should have your own law before you can govern yourself to any other laws, right?
00:28:46.640 --> 00:28:52.240
You should have your own law in the form of being your own master.
00:28:52.480 --> 00:28:56.240
I self, law, and master.
00:28:56.720 --> 00:29:00.640
I self, lord and master, right?
00:29:01.519 --> 00:29:12.960
Which means you're the God of yourself, you're the governor of yourself, you're the master of yourself, you're the ruler of yourself, you're the sole controller of yourself.
00:29:14.160 --> 00:29:16.079
That's first and foremost, right?
00:29:16.400 --> 00:29:19.359
Your law is the law.
00:29:20.240 --> 00:29:21.599
You feel what I'm saying?
00:29:21.920 --> 00:29:31.839
Because when your law is governed correctly, you won't have to worry about any of these other laws being rendered against you, right?
00:29:33.119 --> 00:29:38.559
Because you're governing yourself through your own law.
00:29:39.359 --> 00:29:40.240
You know what I'm saying?
00:29:40.400 --> 00:30:00.319
Last but not least, what else is included in the code of conduct, as I spoke of, is consequences, penalties, or disciplinary actions for breaking the rules or laws that you're supposed to govern yourself by, right?
00:30:00.640 --> 00:30:08.720
It's consequences for everything that you do, it's consequences for everything you that you say in some form or fashion.
00:30:08.960 --> 00:30:14.640
Whether it was intentional, unintentional, known, or unknown, right?
00:30:17.359 --> 00:30:26.799
The level of consequences definitely will vary depending on the severity of the situation.
00:30:29.359 --> 00:31:02.720
But being responsible means having a code of conduct, so you shouldn't have to endure too many consequences if you're governing yourself accordingly, if you're living up to ethical standards, your standards, living up to your laws, all right, abiding and abiding and governing yourself, all right.
00:31:02.960 --> 00:31:10.880
Because before you can yield to a government, you should yield to your own government.
00:31:11.200 --> 00:31:16.480
And if you're doing that, you won't have to yield to any other government, all right?
00:31:16.799 --> 00:31:23.920
Because you're you have the capabilities and powers to govern yourself accordingly, all right?
00:31:24.319 --> 00:31:25.359
Self-govern.
00:31:27.279 --> 00:31:34.559
All right, you lay the laws down and right.
00:31:35.039 --> 00:31:38.880
Let yourself know what you're gonna do, what you're not gonna do, right?
00:31:38.960 --> 00:31:43.920
You discipline yourself to speak a certain way and not speak a certain way.
00:31:44.079 --> 00:31:45.599
You govern yourself, right?
00:31:45.759 --> 00:31:51.759
And teach yourself on how to act on how not to act, right?
00:31:51.839 --> 00:32:07.200
So it's not really the law or law enforcement that governs you, it's the fact that you don't have a code of conduct, so you're unable to govern yourself, you don't have laws, you know what I'm saying?
00:32:07.359 --> 00:32:11.440
You're not responsible for your conduct, right?
00:32:13.039 --> 00:32:22.880
You're not aware of what your actions andor conduct is doing, right?
00:32:23.519 --> 00:32:28.480
To yourself or those around you, you know what I'm saying?
00:32:31.359 --> 00:32:38.079
Well, some people about probably ask, why does the code of conduct matter?
00:32:38.240 --> 00:32:40.000
Why does having a code matter?
00:32:40.319 --> 00:32:41.920
It just does, right?
00:32:42.640 --> 00:32:46.240
I'll give you some examples and why it matters.
00:32:46.480 --> 00:32:50.160
Having a code of conduct creates safety, all right?
00:32:50.319 --> 00:32:55.039
It prevents bad behavior, unhealthy behavior, I would say, right?
00:32:55.680 --> 00:33:01.680
It keeps the public spaces respectful, as well as the workplace, all right.
00:33:02.640 --> 00:33:17.279
Having a code, meaning being responsible, governing yourself properly, all right, maintaining healthy behavior, being calm, collective, valuing your life, valuing other lives, all right.
00:33:17.599 --> 00:33:19.200
Create safety.
00:33:20.240 --> 00:33:29.200
All right, it makes others feel seen, heard, respected, all right, understood, it makes them feel good.
00:33:29.359 --> 00:33:32.720
So now there's peace, all right.
00:33:33.119 --> 00:33:36.319
Now we have an understanding, we have common ground.
00:33:37.519 --> 00:33:39.200
That's why it matters.
00:33:39.519 --> 00:33:40.720
Safety matters.
00:33:40.960 --> 00:33:46.559
Everyone is entitled to a safe place and safe space.
00:33:47.920 --> 00:33:59.920
Some of us aren't capable yet and or don't possess the capacity to create a safe space for someone else, but you can eventually do so.
00:34:00.160 --> 00:34:11.599
But you have to work on your space, all right, and being a safe space within yourself to trust yourself, to love yourself, to value yourself, right?
00:34:12.159 --> 00:34:18.239
And that will eventually build you up to becoming a safe space for someone else.
00:34:19.199 --> 00:34:19.840
All right.
00:34:20.800 --> 00:34:26.400
Another reason why it matters, it sets clear expectations, it provides clarity.
00:34:26.480 --> 00:34:34.239
Everyone knows what they can and cannot do, provides clear knowledge, right?
00:34:35.760 --> 00:34:38.159
Wisely for you to understand.
00:34:38.639 --> 00:34:46.800
All right, to govern yourself accordingly, properly, respectfully, responsibly, all right?
00:34:49.039 --> 00:34:55.920
Having a care and concern for ethics and standards, right?
00:34:56.880 --> 00:34:58.559
That you uphold.
00:35:00.159 --> 00:35:03.360
And a person will understand that, all right?
00:35:03.440 --> 00:35:08.880
It's it's clear the boundary is clear that you're setting.
00:35:08.960 --> 00:35:18.880
That I'm gonna govern myself accordingly, peacefully, calmly, all right, amongst myself, within myself, and amongst those around me.
00:35:20.000 --> 00:35:26.559
All right, because you are the law and master, all right?
00:35:27.360 --> 00:35:30.559
What you say goes, all right?
00:35:30.880 --> 00:35:33.840
You can create your own set of rules.
00:35:35.119 --> 00:35:43.360
You can can you can set your own laws, in a sense, that's what having a code is.
00:35:44.239 --> 00:35:54.639
You're setting the standards and rules on how you're going to operate, how you're gonna move, who you're gonna be, who you are.
00:35:56.320 --> 00:36:03.679
All right, so it sets clear expectations on what a person can expect from you.
00:36:03.840 --> 00:36:15.440
All right, and when you have a proper code of conduct, a person knows you are respectful, your understanding, all right, you're responsible.
00:36:18.960 --> 00:36:29.440
Yeah, yeah, yeah, your actions will always reveal your thoughts and who you are, all right?
00:36:30.320 --> 00:36:40.320
So having a code of conduct is important because setting clear expectations and intentions matters.
00:36:42.000 --> 00:36:51.039
And last but not least, why a code of conduct matters is it protects people, places, and things, right?
00:36:51.119 --> 00:37:00.159
It protects communities, it shields communities from trouble and bad culture, as well as companies, right?
00:37:01.199 --> 00:37:26.800
Having a code of conduct in a public and in professional settings is what enables that public place, community, or workplace govern itself peacefully, responsibly, adequately, right, um, and ethically.
00:37:28.159 --> 00:38:04.480
00:38:06.639 --> 00:38:13.840
You know, like people that are in a you know, a different department, another department other than yours, right?
00:38:14.559 --> 00:38:31.199
Regardless of how much you guys interact, there's still a code of conduct within that workplace to govern yourselves accordingly when it comes to your co-workers, including, you know, the managers, supervisors, and so on and so on and so forth, right?
00:38:33.280 --> 00:38:36.559
So having a code of conduct protects everyone, right?
00:38:36.800 --> 00:38:43.039
That's why there's rules of no sexual harassment, whether it's verbal, physical, or of any kind, right?
00:38:43.840 --> 00:38:57.599
It's just not you know an action or energy that's welcomed in the workplace or even in public, you know, at home, in the community, wherever you may be.
00:39:26.559 --> 00:39:31.679
On how to behave and/or how you should behave, right?
00:39:32.239 --> 00:39:43.360
That reflects that you respect yourself, you value yourself, and that you're responsible and most of all accountable for your words, your ways, and your actions, right.
00:39:47.840 --> 00:39:52.960
Just want to shout out the freedom fighters.
00:39:53.039 --> 00:40:03.280
I want to take some time out to shout out George Jackson, Geronimo Pratt, shout out to Huey P.
00:40:03.440 --> 00:40:21.280
Newton, shout out to Asada Shakur, shout out to Angela Davis, shout out to Fred Hampton, shout out to Mega Evers, shout out to my spiritual father Malcolm X, better known as El Hajj, Malik L.
00:40:21.440 --> 00:40:46.800
Shabazz, shout out to Martin Luther King, or shout out to Marcus Garvey, shout out to Father Allah, shout out to Justice, the first non-born, shout out to power, salute, stand allen, stand up.
00:40:51.599 --> 00:40:55.199
Speaking of standing allen, free killer sin, peace of the god.
00:40:59.679 --> 00:41:00.639
Shout out to A.
00:41:00.880 --> 00:41:01.039
D.
00:41:01.199 --> 00:41:06.880
King, Mont Luther King's brother, who they assassinated after they assassinated him.
00:41:10.000 --> 00:41:12.079
Shout out to Nipsey Hustle.
00:41:14.480 --> 00:41:15.920
Rest in power.
00:41:19.599 --> 00:41:30.719
And these are influential cultural civil rights leaders and freedom fighters for the original people.
00:41:30.880 --> 00:42:09.599
They either lost their life in the fight or just lost their life to general circumstances and or lost their life from hatred, from racism from the FBI, CIA, and or NYPD or local enforcement, wherever these fallen kings were assassinated.
00:42:11.760 --> 00:42:12.559
Word up.
00:42:12.719 --> 00:42:16.719
Peace, love and light upon your families and your lineage.
00:42:16.880 --> 00:42:22.960
Just wanted to take the time out to salute y'all and say I'm grateful.
00:42:23.440 --> 00:42:35.039
I have the utmost gratitude for your service, for the ultimate sacrifice, and for standing up for what you know was right.
00:42:36.800 --> 00:42:39.440
Shout out to the whole Black Panther party.
00:42:43.519 --> 00:42:46.800
So, yeah, let's get back to the code of conduct.
00:42:49.679 --> 00:42:54.800
So I'm gonna give you three examples of proper code of conduct, right?
00:42:55.119 --> 00:42:56.960
Being inclusive, right?
00:42:57.440 --> 00:43:03.920
Regardless of your background, creed, color, your skin, you know what I'm saying?
00:43:06.320 --> 00:43:12.480
We should all respect diverse viewpoints, languages, and cultures.
00:43:12.800 --> 00:43:14.079
Bottom line.
00:43:14.320 --> 00:43:18.079
Again, that's moving righteous, that's being righteous, doing what's right.
00:43:18.159 --> 00:43:20.320
You may not like it, you may not like them.
00:43:21.519 --> 00:43:41.440
That doesn't give you the right to be little, to disrespect, to be violent towards them, to shun them, and or and or deem what's valid to them.
00:43:42.000 --> 00:43:59.760
It's not your place to overpower other people of other cultures because you lack the understanding, because you lack love, because you lack wisdom and knowledge of yourself.
00:44:01.280 --> 00:44:03.039
That's a you problem.
00:44:04.800 --> 00:44:07.760
Second example: showing empathy.
00:44:07.920 --> 00:44:11.920
Treat people with kindness, consideration, and patience.
00:44:12.159 --> 00:44:12.719
All right.
00:44:13.440 --> 00:44:14.960
Everyone doesn't go home with you.
00:44:15.039 --> 00:44:16.719
Your co-workers don't go home with you.
00:44:16.880 --> 00:44:24.320
People that you may not like in this existence, they they these people aren't like in your life 24-7.
00:44:24.559 --> 00:44:25.519
Some of these people, right?
00:44:25.679 --> 00:44:26.480
Some of the people are.
00:44:26.639 --> 00:44:38.800
Some are family, some are friends or was friends, but regardless of what you don't like and how you feel about something, you should always show empathy.
00:44:41.039 --> 00:44:44.000
Which means, in another words, understanding love.
00:44:44.880 --> 00:44:47.280
Because you don't know what this person's going through.
00:44:47.519 --> 00:44:49.599
You're not helping them go through it.
00:44:49.840 --> 00:45:06.880
No, you're not the reason they're going through it, but that doesn't mean you should feel like you should rub it in their face or, you know, just be careless because they're going through something that has nothing to do with you.
00:45:07.199 --> 00:45:19.840
But of course, when you go through it, I'm sure you want people to, you know what I'm saying, be there for you, comfort you, you know, and have empathy.
00:45:20.079 --> 00:45:24.000
That we all go through things we're probably used to going through.
00:45:24.159 --> 00:45:27.519
Some of us go through things we're not used to going through.
00:45:27.840 --> 00:45:31.360
Some of us go through things another person will never go through.
00:45:31.440 --> 00:45:36.159
Or some of us are going through the same things, but we're still gonna perceive it.
00:45:36.320 --> 00:45:38.079
Our viewpoints will be different.
00:45:38.239 --> 00:45:50.079
So we should have that empathy, that understanding, that understanding that this person is who they are, and just wish them the best and move on.
00:45:50.639 --> 00:45:51.280
All right.
00:45:53.840 --> 00:45:59.599
The third example of proper code of conduct is collaboration sometimes.
00:45:59.760 --> 00:46:00.960
You know what I'm saying?
00:46:01.280 --> 00:46:06.880
To resolve disagreements constructively before escalating conflict.
00:46:07.039 --> 00:46:13.920
Now, sometimes collaborating on things does make it easier, right?
00:46:14.960 --> 00:46:32.000
And sometimes collaborating may make it easier, but it causes disagreements because one person wants to be in control of it, the other person wants to be in control of it, wants to be the head of it, the face of it, the name of it, wants to be seen and heard that they was the one that did this and did that.
00:46:32.159 --> 00:46:32.639
You know what I mean?
00:46:32.719 --> 00:46:38.480
And that's why sometimes collaborating don't help or won't help, right?
00:46:40.159 --> 00:46:49.760
So I would just say be treat people how you want to be treated, right?
00:46:51.360 --> 00:46:54.960
Understand there's things that you won't understand, right?
00:46:55.360 --> 00:47:06.320
Understand that sometimes you won't resolve a disagreement because either you're not ready to accept the growth in it or the other person's not ready to accept it, right?
00:47:07.840 --> 00:47:13.039
But that's why the phrase agree to disagree exists, right?
00:47:13.199 --> 00:47:21.840
Because you don't have to disagree, you don't have to agree, but you can agree to disagree and move on and just leave it at that.
00:47:23.760 --> 00:47:27.199
Doesn't make it a problem with this person.
00:47:27.679 --> 00:47:33.119
Because they don't agree with you doesn't make, it doesn't mean that this person has a problem with you.
00:47:34.000 --> 00:47:36.320
All right, it's just a conflict.
00:47:36.480 --> 00:47:40.719
A conflict is just you're undecided on what to do.
00:47:40.880 --> 00:47:43.679
Go left, go left, go right, go up, go down.
00:47:44.159 --> 00:47:46.239
Yes, no, yellow, white.
00:47:46.400 --> 00:47:47.119
You know what I'm saying?
00:47:47.199 --> 00:47:48.880
Like that's a conflict on what to choose.
00:47:49.119 --> 00:47:52.639
We eating pasta today, or we eating rice.
00:47:52.719 --> 00:47:53.519
That's a conflict.
00:47:53.679 --> 00:48:01.440
And conflicts aren't negative unless you start to deal with them through negative practices and negative behavior, right?
00:48:02.480 --> 00:48:11.760
A conflict will escalate through unhealthy reactions and actions within that conflict, right?
00:48:12.079 --> 00:48:18.079
We gotta learn to know that a conflict means that we just have different points of views.
00:48:18.320 --> 00:48:21.679
We have different wants, we have different likes.
00:48:22.639 --> 00:48:23.199
All right?
00:48:23.440 --> 00:48:26.960
I'm a super fan, huge fan of Styles P.
00:48:27.440 --> 00:48:29.119
That's my number one MC.
00:48:29.199 --> 00:48:30.639
You may think he's number seven.
00:48:30.800 --> 00:48:32.159
Am I gonna argue with you?
00:48:32.320 --> 00:48:32.559
No.
00:48:32.719 --> 00:48:34.960
Am I gonna say you're out your fucking mind?
00:48:35.199 --> 00:48:35.920
Probably.
00:48:36.159 --> 00:48:37.679
But should you be mad about that?
00:48:37.760 --> 00:48:39.920
Nah, because that's just my opinion.
00:48:40.000 --> 00:48:41.119
That's my viewpoint.
00:48:41.280 --> 00:48:51.360
And I ain't forcing it on you, but I'm just generally speaking and showing you and giving you an example that, you know, very much a fan, right?
00:48:52.159 --> 00:48:55.519
I really know about this guy, I done followed him for the longest.
00:48:55.679 --> 00:48:56.559
You know what I'm saying?
00:48:56.719 --> 00:48:58.880
I love how he carries himself.
00:48:59.280 --> 00:49:00.000
You know what I mean?
00:49:00.079 --> 00:49:10.320
I love how he respects the community, and I love how he's he has changed himself for himself, right?
00:49:14.239 --> 00:49:16.639
And that's incredible, right?
00:49:17.440 --> 00:49:29.599
Being being in a place where you're conditioned and programmed to be a certain way, and then to be able to heal and transform yourself is incredible.
00:49:30.079 --> 00:49:32.559
Styles P did it, is doing it.
00:49:32.800 --> 00:49:36.719
The locks are doing it as a whole, Nipsey did it.
00:49:39.199 --> 00:49:39.760
Right?
00:49:40.719 --> 00:49:44.880
Martin Luther King did it, but part himself, Malcolm X did it.
00:49:46.480 --> 00:49:47.119
Right.
00:49:49.840 --> 00:50:19.679
So as long as you have the opportunity to experience another day, which I call an experience, then you have every opportunity to change and or enhance your experience upon itself your life however you want to, or in whatever area you need to.
00:50:33.840 --> 00:50:46.159
How you govern yourself, how you act, you know, your ways, your movements reflect who you are and what you are.
00:50:47.679 --> 00:50:49.039
No one's perfect, yeah.
00:50:49.119 --> 00:50:51.280
Even the calmest person gets upset.
00:50:53.280 --> 00:50:58.639
But even the wildest person is able to be calm.
00:50:58.800 --> 00:50:59.119
Alright?
00:50:59.679 --> 00:51:01.119
There's polarities to it.
00:51:04.000 --> 00:51:11.199
So there's nothing you can't do unless you're saying you can't do it.
00:51:12.079 --> 00:51:12.320
Right?
00:51:12.480 --> 00:51:17.280
And anything you set your mind to do, you can do it.
00:51:20.239 --> 00:51:37.840
You can program yourself into speaking a certain way, acting a certain way, and just being who you want to be.
00:51:39.679 --> 00:51:41.360
It's solely up to you.
00:51:43.280 --> 00:51:43.760
Right?
00:51:44.000 --> 00:51:53.599
But possessing a code of conduct, you know, speaks to your ethics, it speaks to your standards.
00:51:54.159 --> 00:52:11.519
Because having a code of conduct is possessing ethical standards, values, you know what I'm saying, and operating improper behavior internally and externally.
00:52:12.719 --> 00:52:34.960
And people think that just because they may not, you know, be out here killing or robbing and stealing, that that means they don't have to work on their conduct or that you know they're moving properly ethically.
00:52:35.679 --> 00:52:37.840
That doesn't mean that either.
00:52:50.320 --> 00:53:04.559
Whether it be how you speak to people when you're upset, to the store clerk, to the person that you know held the door open for you and you walked out and didn't say thank you, or held the door for you to walk in and you didn't say thank you.
00:53:04.719 --> 00:53:06.320
You just felt obligated.
00:53:06.559 --> 00:53:07.840
You know what I'm saying?
00:53:08.800 --> 00:53:10.960
Oh, yeah, this person was supposed to hold the door.
00:53:11.039 --> 00:53:20.639
Or they they was in front of me, so yeah, nah, but you know, that person was just having empathy for someone, knowing someone is walking behind me, I hold the door for them.
00:53:21.280 --> 00:53:22.800
You know what I'm saying?
00:53:24.239 --> 00:53:27.280
Not taking everything personal that people do.
00:53:28.400 --> 00:53:28.800
Right?
00:53:29.039 --> 00:53:36.880
And sometimes people are going through things that they're unable to channel properly in a healthy fashion.
00:53:36.960 --> 00:53:40.800
So they lash out, they say things, they do things, right?
00:53:41.119 --> 00:53:58.159
But you possessing an internal code of conduct and you establishing a law to govern yourself and master yourself and not allow the external to shift or move your internal, right?
00:54:01.920 --> 00:54:05.519
You will prevent yourself from dealing with certain things, right?
00:54:06.320 --> 00:54:14.880
Keep yourself out of the way and keep yourself from you know exerting energy that's unnecessary, right?
00:54:15.119 --> 00:54:22.079
You prevent yourself from being angry because you know that this is just what it is, right?
00:54:23.119 --> 00:54:29.599
People, some people don't have a code of conduct, they don't know how to conduct themselves, you know what I'm saying?
00:54:30.000 --> 00:54:40.800
So having that understanding, having that empathy, which is uh one pillar of emotional intelligence, you'll have that that proper understanding, right?
00:54:40.960 --> 00:54:44.960
That you can't control people, but you can control yourself, right?
00:54:45.119 --> 00:54:51.199
You can control how you react to people that lack a code of conduct, right?
00:54:52.400 --> 00:54:56.079
Because that will prevent a conflict.
00:54:57.599 --> 00:54:58.480
You know what I'm saying?
00:54:58.559 --> 00:55:06.800
That will prevent a fight, or a tragic situation.
00:55:09.039 --> 00:55:09.360
Right?
00:55:09.519 --> 00:55:16.320
Possessing a code shows you respect and value yourself internally, externally.
00:55:16.639 --> 00:55:23.280
You value those in the world, you value the world, the universe, the trees, the grass, right?
00:55:23.360 --> 00:55:24.800
You're not littering.
00:55:26.320 --> 00:55:27.440
You know what I'm saying?
00:55:27.679 --> 00:55:28.960
A lot of us do that.
00:55:29.119 --> 00:55:33.599
Just throw some shit right out the window driving, or we walking and eating, and just drop the shit.
00:55:33.679 --> 00:55:42.800
Sometimes, yeah, we in areas where there's not a receptacle around trash can or you know, whatever where we can dispose of our trash.
00:55:43.119 --> 00:55:46.000
But that doesn't mean at least wait and try.
00:55:46.079 --> 00:55:51.119
Like if it's something, you know, you can just put in your pocket right quick, put it in your pocket.
00:55:51.280 --> 00:55:51.840
You know what I'm saying?
00:55:52.079 --> 00:55:56.159
Even if it's a bag of chips, a candy package or something, don't you know what I mean?
00:55:56.320 --> 00:56:01.039
A couple crumbs won't hurt, flip your pocket inside out, boom, crumbs is out.
00:56:01.599 --> 00:56:02.559
You know what I mean?
00:56:02.719 --> 00:56:13.840
Like, we're just so quick to like be chaotic in an environment that's not chaotic to us.
00:56:14.000 --> 00:56:19.039
And I mean, as far as nature is concerned, nature ain't do nothing to nobody.
00:56:19.280 --> 00:56:25.199
Nature is governing itself in its most natural and purest form.
00:56:25.280 --> 00:56:30.639
So anything that happens in nature, it's happening for a reason, meaning it's supposed to happen.
00:56:30.880 --> 00:56:39.440
And anytime any one of us as beings interrupt the universe, we're gonna have consequences, right?
00:56:39.599 --> 00:56:41.840
We don't govern ourselves accordingly, right?
00:56:41.920 --> 00:56:45.360
So when we litter a lot, that fills up the drain systems.
00:56:45.440 --> 00:56:47.280
So we have overflowing when it rains.
00:56:47.440 --> 00:56:48.639
You know what I'm saying?
00:56:48.960 --> 00:56:50.719
But we need the rain for what?
00:56:50.960 --> 00:57:03.920
To water our plants, the crops, for food, to keep, you know, the oxygen correct, you know, for heavy tree areas, you know, it gives off CO, you know, it gives off oxygen and things like that.
00:57:04.079 --> 00:57:12.159
So taking care of nature, you know, is reflects your code of conduct, right?
00:57:12.480 --> 00:57:13.760
Or lack thereof.
00:57:14.000 --> 00:57:16.480
How you govern yourself within nature.
00:57:17.199 --> 00:57:18.800
All right, are you preserving water?
00:57:18.880 --> 00:57:22.159
You just running water all day, all right?
00:57:22.559 --> 00:57:32.239
You littering, killing ants and you know, insects and animals, all right?
00:57:32.480 --> 00:57:37.599
I know sometimes insects and things like that may crawl on us, we gotta kill them.
00:57:37.679 --> 00:57:38.239
I get it.
00:57:38.400 --> 00:57:40.079
Spiders and things like that.
00:57:40.159 --> 00:57:46.800
But if that thing is not literally attacking you on you, let it ride.
00:57:48.320 --> 00:57:49.199
You know what I'm saying?
00:57:49.360 --> 00:57:56.800
Stop shooting squirrels and skunks and opossums and whatever else be creeping around.
00:57:57.119 --> 00:58:01.840
Raccoons, birds, you know what I mean?
00:58:02.000 --> 00:58:03.519
Let them live, man.
00:58:04.400 --> 00:58:08.320
Use your BB guns on things that are non-living.
00:58:10.000 --> 00:58:12.320
Because all of this reflects your code of conduct.
00:58:12.480 --> 00:58:17.199
You may think, oh nah, this, nah, it's just, it's just uh, nah.
00:58:17.840 --> 00:58:26.000
When you have to say it's just to me, I feel like you're justifying something you did wrong.
00:58:26.320 --> 00:58:29.199
And you know it's wrong, because you're trying to justify it.
00:58:29.760 --> 00:58:31.840
Simple and plain, you know what I mean?
00:58:32.559 --> 00:58:36.400
So learn how to live and let live.
00:58:37.199 --> 00:58:43.440
All right, that's an example of proper code of conduct.
00:58:43.599 --> 00:58:44.559
You know what I mean?
00:58:44.719 --> 00:58:56.559
If no one is bothering you to the point where your life is at stake, move around, don't exchange words with them, don't antagonize them.
00:58:57.360 --> 00:59:05.920
Because they're gonna take themselves out and not literally like take their own life, but you know, you can't argue with yourself.
00:59:06.159 --> 00:59:08.400
Arguments usually take two people.
00:59:10.159 --> 00:59:25.519
So be mindful that you don't have to engage in everything that comes your way, everything that strikes, you know, your nerve, everything that that bothers you, you know what I'm saying?
00:59:25.679 --> 00:59:28.960
Everything you don't feel or understand.
00:59:29.119 --> 00:59:38.719
Like it's not, you know, sometimes it's just meant for you to be there to witness and experience, and maybe you'll understand later.
00:59:38.960 --> 00:59:40.719
Maybe you'll get it later.
00:59:41.440 --> 00:59:42.079
All right.
00:59:43.360 --> 00:59:46.079
Trust, whatever's meant to happen will happen.
00:59:47.599 --> 00:59:51.440
What hasn't happened, don't worry about it.
00:59:52.000 --> 00:59:52.400
Right?
00:59:52.480 --> 01:00:01.360
And just know that you're in control of how you govern yourself based upon what happens, what's said.
01:00:02.239 --> 01:00:02.800
Right?
01:00:04.800 --> 01:00:14.000
You have the right to create your own code of conduct based upon how you choose to live your life.
01:00:14.400 --> 01:00:22.159
So ask yourself Do you have a proper code of conduct or an unproper code of conduct?
01:00:23.280 --> 01:00:41.039
Either way, you can make a change for the better if it's not benefiting you in being the best for you, for you to become your best.
01:00:44.719 --> 01:00:46.960
So stand on code, y'all.
01:00:49.360 --> 01:01:01.280
My code is to operate in peace, love, and light with freedom, justice, equality, right, and balance.
