OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
Computer, show me a gigolo named Joe.
Beep boop beep boop! BrennanBot-9000 is here to bring you the show description for this episode on Steven Spielberg’s philosophical sci-fi epic A.I. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (2001). Nick and Brennan talk about the long development of this collaboration between Spielberg and Stanley Kubrick, the ethical concerns of AI, and Jude Law's iconic performance as Gigolo Joe (whaddya know). What is it like to watch this film in the AI-ridden world we now live in? How did Haley Joel Osment pull off such a nuanced performance as the robotic David? Plus, is Martin The Most Justified Villain in Film History, or is he A Little Shit Who Should Have Left David Alone? You don't need to ask AI the answer to these questions (please don't)--all you need to do is listen to this episode of Spineless. BrennanBot-9000 shutting down forever beep booooooop 💤
