OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
What if the key to true spiritual strength isn't trying harder to summon inner power, but admitting you don't have what it takes and leaning entirely into God's grace?
This week on Off Script, Neil and Scott kick off the fall season by introducing the new series Discipline and unpacking what it practically means to get stronger in your faith. They dive into the historical background of Ephesus—from its massive pagan idol worship to public book burnings—and expose how modern idols like image management, empty religion, and power show up right here in central Kentucky. The guys break down why true spiritual discipline isn't about legalism or willpower, but about building daily habits alongside a community before the storm hits so you can stand firm when life gets tough.
The Challenge This week, take the 30-day discipline challenge: commit to reading the Bible, praying, and moving your body (like taking a 10-minute walk without your phone or headphones) every single day. Before you start, take a quick inventory of your mental, physical, and spiritual life so you can track how small, consistent daily inputs transform your outputs over time. About Southland Christian Church
Southland is one church meeting in multiple locations across central Kentucky. We believe Jesus came for the lost and the broken, which means there's a place for everyone here. Around here, that means we worship defiantly, speak truth unashamedly, and extend grace generously.
