✨ About This Season: The Anatomy of Alignment
This season of Redefining Wealth is dedicated to unpacking what alignment really means — not as a buzzword, but as structure.
We’re dissecting how misalignment impacts each of the Six Pillars of Wealth — FIT, PEOPLE, SPACE, FAITH, WORK, and MONEY — and what it truly costs when we tolerate what drains us.
Each episode builds on the last. So subscribe and journey with us as we move from awakening… to redefining… to actualizing.
Episode Summary
In today’s episode, we explore the grief that can accompany alignment. Reflecting on a transformative week in Mexico, Patrice shares what happens when choosing yourself is the right decision—but still breaks your heart. Through vulnerable storytelling, she unpacks the emotions that surfaced after releasing something she genuinely loved and reminds listeners that growth often requires grieving what no longer fits.
Patrice challenges the tendency to romanticize the past and offers practical ways to navigate difficult transitions, including creating a “truth list” and reassigning meaning to endings. Ultimately, this episode is a reminder that grief is not proof you made the wrong choice—it’s often proof that something mattered. Alignment may come with loss, but it also creates space for a life rooted in purpose, truth, and self-trust.
Questions to Ask Yourself:
What am I grieving right now, even though I know I made the right decision?
Have I been intellectualizing my emotions instead of actually feeling them?
What truths am I overlooking because I’m romanticizing the past?
Where have I mistaken grief as evidence that I should go back?
How can I reassign meaning to this season instead of labeling it a failure?
What would it look like to trust myself more deeply in this next chapter?
