Questions from Discord:
Joe Polycule: You can give any game GTA6’s budget: Which game would you choose? The caveat being it'll also take just as long to develop. Also, just assume the game will end up being great.
Bailey: Are there any specific tropes, themes, or story elements in games that you feel like have been overdone lately? Any that you’re getting a little tired of? My answer to this doesn’t necessarily apply to new games, but a few games I’ve played somewhat recently all have had the “becomes a good dad to a character that is not their biological daughter” trope and I’m getting mildly sick of it lol (twd, pragmata, tlou) It’s not that I think it’s bad, I’ve absolutely loved all of these games, but I’m definitely ready to not see it in a game for a minute.
jtlawbass the unc: If you could rent out a movie theater to play one game on the big screen, which game would you pick? I would choose either Uncharted 4 since it’s so cinematic or I’d pick Halo if the boys from college can come so we can play split-screen one more time on the biggest of screens.
What we’re playing:
Mary: Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Dead by Daylight, and NOT Love and Deepspace
John: Baldur’s Gate 3, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream
