OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
We spend so much of our lives rushing around, doing the things we think we have to do. But how much time do we actually spend doing the things that move us towards the life we want?
In this episode, Vince reflects on a powerful scene from Rocky III, where Apollo reminds Rocky that there is no tomorrow. It’s a simple message, but one that makes you think about how easily we put things off.
Vince shares a very personal experience of how quickly life can change, and why that can put everything into perspective. It’s not about living every day as if it were your last, or abandoning plans for the future. It’s about recognising that today is the only day we can actually do something.
He also explains why he often asks people, “What’s so special about today?” The answer isn’t the date on the calendar. It’s the fact that you’ll never get that particular day back again.
You don’t have to change everything today. But what could you do today to move yourself a little closer to where you want to be?
Because tomorrow isn’t here yet.
Create a great day.
