OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
Jake and Tyler go full comic-nerd mode in episode 265 of Off Panel Off Topic, live from the AKC Andrew Downs Studio.
They dive into the new Avengers: Doomsday trailer energy, the Clayface trailer’s wild body-horror moments, and why X-Men ’97 is turning a new generation of fans (including Tyler’s son, who is now obsessed with Cyclops).
Special guest Carter (Tyler’s brother) joins to talk about his brand-new Ecteron book Showdown in South Dakota, the origin of the giant rooster kaiju, early drawing memories, and practical advice for anyone just starting to sketch.
Then it’s pull-list time:• Doom Quest #2 (Ryan North) – Doom on the Titanic + time-loop chaos gets a strong B+• Absolute Catwoman #2 – stylish action and reconciling old friends• Avengers Armageddon #2 – a frustrated D/F rant about continuity overload• Supergirl: Survive #2 – creative Elseworlds fun that earns an A
