OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
“Is It a Big Deal?” • 2nd Peter 2:17—22 Elder Bryce Lowrance
Elder Lowrance preaches from teh last several verses of 2nd Peter, Chapter 2. In this lesson, we learn that children of God have a new nature that seeks to please God but we also have to wrestle with our old nature. When we give in to that old nature and enticed to sin or to follow false teachings, we do not lose our eternal salvation but Peter teaches us it is still a “big deal” and a blow to our assurance of that salvation.
The life of a child of God apart from serving the Lord in a Bible Church is one filled with disappoint, grief, fear, and loss of hope. Therefore, let us earnestly contend for the true doctrine of the Bible and go to the place where God has designed to feed us the spiritual knowledge we need — church.
