OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
In this Thanksgiving edition of Huddle Up with Howard, Howard Richards and Mike Claiborne break down the biggest stories in St. Louis sports and national football.
The guys start by discussing the likely Eli Drinkwitz contract extension with Mizzou Football. They analyze the stability Coach Drinkwitz has brought to the program, the potential for a 10-win season, and what the Tigers need to do to close out the year strong against Arkansas. Howard also gives his take on the "art" of hiring coaches and why the culture at Missouri is trending in the right direction.
Later in the show, the conversation shifts to the NFL. Howard shares a former player’s perspective on playing on Thanksgiving Day, dealing with short weeks, and the recovery process. They also look at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Senior Finalists, debating which legends finally deserve the Gold Jacket. Howard makes the case for 49ers great Roger Craig, Chiefs legend Otis Taylor, Rams standout Henry Ellard, and Steelers defender L.C. Greenwood.
