OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
This week on Mariners Down Under, we're joined by Seattle Mariners 2025 6th-round draft pick Lucas Kelly.
Lucas takes us through his baseball journey, from his early days in the game to hearing his name called on draft day. We also dive into one of the most important parts of baseball that fans don't always see—the mental side of the sport.
We discuss how Lucas stays focused through the ups and downs of a long season, the routines and mindset that keep him performing at his best, and what he's learned about handling pressure as he continues his climb through professional baseball.
A special shoutout to Lucas, who was an absolute champion throughout the recording. Despite a few Wi-Fi and connectivity issues on our end in the early hours of the Australian morning, he was incredibly patient and generous with his time, helping us get the episode across the line.
If you're a Mariners fan, a baseball player, or just someone interested in what it takes to succeed at a high level, this is an episode you won't want to miss.
