OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
Pay attention class! This week, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke are taking their seats at the back of the classroom and casting a very critical eye over all things School.
From recorder recitals that tested the patience of entire households to the teachers who changed their lives forever, the boys are rifling through their school memories with all the subtlety of a playground rumour. Expect strong opinions on packed lunches, school reunions, nativity plays, prom night, kiss chase and the eternal question: were conkers actually a sport?
Along the way, Anton returns to the scene of his beloved childhood conker tree, Craig reveals how a teacher's love of music set him on the path to stardom, and both share some eye-opening tales of old-school discipline that definitely wouldn't make it into today's lesson plans.
Plus, a listener confesses to one of the most spectacular acts of schoolyard betrayal imaginable, and another asks whether parents were right to secretly dispose of a recorder.
Homework is optional. Judgement is compulsory.
