OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
What If That’s Not Actually You?
Can you tell the difference between what you’re experiencing and who you actually are?
For me, home is the feeling of being grounded in who I am, without performing or trying to become someone I think I’m supposed to be.
This isn't about fixing yourself.
It isn't about passing a Human Design test.
It isn't even about becoming someone new.
It’s about noticing. Practicing. Experimenting. And remembering that you’re already home.
In this episode, we explore:
- Why Human Design is an embodiment tool—not a personality test
- The difference between defined and undefined/open centers
- My “house and neighborhood” metaphor for understanding the centers
- How conditioning can make us confuse what we experience with who we are
- A quick beginner-friendly tour of all nine centers
- Questions you can ask yourself around each center
- Why your open centers aren't a problem to fix
- How awareness gives you the ability to choose differently
- What it can look like to practice your Human Design in real life

Have a question about Human Design, overwhelm, burnout, conditioning, or the centers that you'd like me to answer on a future episode?
Your question to take with you:
Where in your life do you say, “This is just who I am”—and what if that isn't actually you?
You don't have to fix it.
Just notice.
Katie Ruppert is a transformational coach who helps women trade overwhelm and striving for more peace, energy, and ease. Through a powerful blend of mind–body practices, coaching, and the self-discovery system of Human Design, she guides clients to lighten their load and take the next right step toward the life they want—without needing a total life overhaul.
She’s also the host of the Inspired by Design podcast, where she shares real stories, practical tools, and fresh perspectives on how to move through the messy middle of life with less resistance and more flow.
Katie believes transformation doesn’t have to come from doing more—it comes from reconnecting with who you are, calming the noise, and creating space for what matters most. Whether it’s through one-on-one coaching, workshops, or her podcast, Katie’s work is about helping women feel seen, supported, and empowered to create a life that feels lighter.
