OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
Today on FRIAR TIME, we’re discussing an issue that’s political, medical, and extremely personal, as it’s about people trying to find peace in who they are. I hope you’ll join me and Dr. Jack Drescher for Understanding our Transgender Community.
Across our country, legislation is being introduced, challenged, and defended. Families, doctors, and religious leaders are caught in a storm of questions.
What's right? What's safe? What's moral? How do we protect our children?
Join me and Dr. Drescher for a discussion filled with courage and compassion.
Dr. Drescher is a medical doctor, a clinical professor of psychiatry at Columbia University, and a distinguished life fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is also an openly gay psychiatrist who has served with the World Health Organization revising sexual and gender diagnoses.
It's FRIAR TIME, let’s start talking!
