OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
The Blue Jays head into San Francisco searching for answers after another frustrating loss in Seattle.
On game preview 91 of Flight Deck, hosted by Adam Peddle he breaks down what's become the biggest concern surrounding this team: the offense. Toronto's bats have gone ice cold, the losses continue to pile up, and time is quickly running out before the trade deadline.
We'll discuss whether there's still reason to believe this group can get back into the playoff picture, or if the Blue Jays are approaching a point where the front office has to seriously rethink its deadline plans.
Adam also looks at another encouraging outing from Trey Yesavage, why he continues to give Toronto quality starts, and what his development means for a rotation that has been searching for consistency. Looking ahead, Kevin Gausman gets the ball against the Giants as he tries to build off his last start, while Landen Roupp looks to rebound from a rough June.
Can the Blue Jays finally get the offense going, or will another strong pitching performance go to waste?
We finish with Adam's picks presented by bet365.
