OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
Every day when we wake up, we need to decide that we are going to follow in the steps of Jesus. His steps always lead to the right place. Peter reminds people that we must walk in His steps. I picture footprints in the snow, and we try to place our feet in those footprints. Notice that you can’t see far ahead of you. When you carry a light, it just shows what’s in front of you. God doesn’t always show us what’s down the road, but He does promise that if we follow step by step, we will wind up in a good place. Trying to figure out what the future holds can be frustrating and cause anxiety. Walking everyday step by step in the steps of Jesus creates faith, not fear. It creates peace, not worry. Walk in His steps today.
