OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
This week on the Cheesy Controller Podcast, the crew dives back into a packed week of gaming, anime, and comic book news! Anton returns to Marvel Cosmic Invasion to check out the two DLC characters he missed and shares whether they were worth the wait. He also somehow managed to hit Level 55 in Modern Warfare 3 in under a week, breaking down the grind and what kept him hooked.
Chris finally rolls credits on Scott Pilgrim EX and explains how its story sets itself apart from every other version of Scott Pilgrim across comics, movies, animation, and games. The crew also discusses the surprising departure of Marathon game director Joe Ziegler from Bungie and what it could mean for the already uncertain future of the studio's extraction shooter.
Outside of gaming, they give their long-overdue review of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, sharing their favorite moments and whether it lived up to the series' reputation. To wrap things up, they talk about Fortnite embracing the summer with a fresh batch of DC Comics-inspired skins and which characters they'd love to see added next.
