OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
Actress, comedian, and creator Nikki Howard joins hosts Mikey Tableman and Danny J. Gomez for a powerful and refreshingly honest conversation about humor, healing, and mental health in an era of constant noise and comparison.
From navigating cancel culture and online pressure to finding stillness through meditation, psychedelics, and self-compassion, Nikki shares how comedy became both her creative outlet and her survival tool. She opens up about her own battles with depression, suicidal ideation, and the lifelong process of learning to be kind to yourself -even when your mind isn’t.
Together, they explore the intersection of vulnerability and laughter, the science of compassion, and why humor can be one of the most profound paths to recovery. This raw, grounded conversation is a reminder that we all heal differently — and that sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is laugh while you’re still learning to love yourself.
