Dr Shilpa was recently crowned Mrs India Worldwide 2026 at the Glammon International Pageant in India, where she also received the Best National Costume and Best Ramp Walk awards.
The conversation explores her journey across science, entrepreneurship, motherhood, dance, Indian culture and pageantry, and the experiences that have shaped her along the way.
Dr Shilpa also shares her passion for representing Indian culture in New Zealand through dance and discusses the importance of pursuing personal dreams alongside family and professional responsibilities.
