OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
UFC Oklahoma just took over the arena, and it delivered pure, unadulterated drama from the opening prelims all the way to the five-round main event war! On this episode of the California Sober Podcast, your host Moe breaks down the entire card in the exact order it went down, tracking every major tactical adjustment, the official fighter records, and exactly where these fighters stand in the division rankings.Moe dives deep into how #2 ranked Dricus Du Plessis completely shut down #9 ranked Kamaru Usman's middleweight ambitions, forcing the former dominant champion into a brutal striking match where his amateurish head-dipping was exposed round after round. Was Usman completely delusional in his post-fight complaints about the scorecards, or does he really still have a dog left in him? What We Cover InsideThe Undefeated Train Derailed: Moe kicks off the night with Felipe Franco pulling off a massive betting upset, absolutely exposing Levi Rodriguez Jr.'s lack of ground game. Franco used a 4-to-1 speed advantage to force a grappling match, landing absolute bombs and vicious elbows from the top for a brutal second-round TKO.The Secret Fight of the Night: The unranked welterweight scrap between Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani and Seokkyeon Ko that nobody expected to steal the show. Two elite grapplers cancel each other out to throw down on the feet, where Lebo's non-stop forward pressure exposes Ko's lazy, hands-down defense. The Suga Camp Prospect Clinic: Featherweight rising star Tommy McMillen protects his flawless record by completely dismantling Alberto Montes over three rounds. From pre-fight security interventions to a broken Instagram "no-takedown" pact, McMillen uses his elite reach, vicious body shots, and endless cardio to leave Montes’ face completely swollen. The Fatherhood Bounce Back: Chase Hooper returns to the cage as a new dad, overcoming a missed weight cut to snap his two-fight losing streak. Hooper utilizes his tall frame perfectly before locking in a lightning-fast, first-round rear-naked choke over Mitch Ramirez to walk away completely untouched.A Changing of the Guard: The middleweight division gets a massive shakeup as Christian Leroy Duncan takes a legacy-defining victory over the battle-tested legend Jared Cannonier. CLD uses explosive jumping knees, spinning elbows, and pure athletic strength to completely gas out and overwhelm the veteran over three rounds. The Five-Round Middleweight War: In-depth, round-by-round breakdown of the epic main event clash between former champions Dricus Du Plessis and Kamaru Usman. Moe looks at DDP's devastating question-mark kicks, how his elite stance-switching completely neutralized Usman’s wrestling, and the hard truth behind Usman's heavy breathing and amateur head-dipping that cost him every single round.LEAVE A COMMENT: Who does Dricus Du Plessis face next—is it time for the trilogy with Sean Strickland? And is Kamaru Usman officially done at 185 pounds, or did that 5th round flurry prove he still belongs?
