OVER DEZE AFLEVERING

Yes yes, we know we said we’d have an episode of Welcome to Night Vale to recap this week, but in our defense we are BAD AT COUNTING, and we won’t be able to recap the new Night Vale episode until next week.
At least we have a few other things to discuss. The good: Hugo Awards (with a brief mention of Ursula Vernon’s Fabulous Hat). The not so good, or at the very least the sad: we lost Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, and Peter Cullen last week and we are not okay.
Finally, we watched another episode of Season 3 of Better Call Saul, a show which keeps getting better and better and which we probably should have gotten around to watching a long time ago. (Brief spoilers for Breaking Bad, or at least how the story of Gus Fring wrapped up, and wasn’t that amazing?)

If you’re curious about that last outtake clip in this episode…*sigh*. Look, GarageBand, we talked about this. You promised not to cut off the end of my recordings anymore, and I heavily implied that I wouldn’t throw you into a Microsoft Windows 95 floppy disk and run you through an industrial paper shredder. Let’s try not to have this discussion again, okay?
It can be really easy to slip into doom and despair at the state of the world right now, but there are things you can do to help. Check out Stand With Minnesota for links to fundraisers and other ways you can show your support. If we haven’t made it abundantly clear where we stand on this, FUCK ICE.
