OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
In this episode of Beers with Contractors, host Will and Terry welcome host Christopher Rice of Builder Prime to clarify how CRMs, ERPs, and field service management tools fit together in home services and to explain Builder Prime as a “business operating platform” managing the customer lifecycle from lead intake through scheduling, estimating, invoicing, production, and final payment. Chris emphasizes Builder Prime’s reporting and AI-driven insights, recent focus on improving estimating and integrations (including Windows-related integrations), and the importance of listening to both paying customers and frontline end users, especially for mobile-first field teams. They discuss key contractor metrics—gross profit/margins, lead-source conversion through the funnel, and production capacity/daily revenue per crew—plus scaling needs from small to enterprise, including integrations like NetSuite.
