OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
We know how important it is to be inspired by both big businesses and individuals, which is why we are excited to present Talking Leaders, a bi-monthly initiative from the AHDB that will see a series of inspirational speakers share their life experiences and deliver impactful stories to the AgriLeader community.
In our July broadcast, Jon Parry, principal of Gurteen College, Ireland, will be joining us.
Jon is the 6th Principal of Gurteen College since it’s inception in 1947. Before relocating to Tipperary, Jon held various leadership roles in the UK and has worked for more than 30 years in agricultural education and knowledge exchange (KE).
Jon was instrumental in changing how AHDB approached KE, championing a mindset change method and believing “the cup is already full of knowledge, KE just need to be the spoon that stirs it”.
If we had a blank sheet of paper, how would we equip the next generation?Join us to explore Jon’s insights and ideas on what we need to do to ensure we equip the next generation with the skills and traits needed to adapt to a world that is changing ever faster, and to grab the opportunities this new world will bring.
